Chapter 103: 9.13 Expecting something sweet

Drea watched his father leave and more tears fell on his face. Elwyn never loved me he loves A-Xuan. I have nothing and no one left.

Even his father who would always take his side stopped. He knows he’ll never get Elwyn back so what’s the point in staying here? He got up and left the house without looking back.

Elwyn walked by the side of the road with a bottle of alcohol in his hand. He lost A-Xuan to Kalel and now he doesn’t even have Drea anymore. Lex will never accept him in his family again.

With Kalel firing him and his father at least he could’ve run Hayes Estate but he can’t anymore. I don’t have a future because I fell in love with someone who doesn’t love me.

After taking a deep breath his eyes sharpened. He and his father have money more than enough money saved up to build a company from the ground up.

He won’t let his love for A-Xuan destroy his professional life. He’ll become successful and find a way to destroy Grey Media.

When his phone rang he looked at the name and picked up excitedly.

"A-Xuan."

"I know that you’re married to Drea but."

When he heard that he dropped his cell phone and the bottle and walked into traffic. The next second a car ran into him.

A-Xuan looked at his interface smiling. He had hypnotized him the night of the gala.

He had no intention to let him live exactly the same way he did after what he did to the original. A-Xuan was pushed onto the bed and Kalel got on top of him.

He asked:

"Why are you smiling?"

A-Xuan held onto his neck and announced:

"Your cousin just got run over by a car."

A-Xuan waited for any kind of reaction but it never came. He smiled and teased:

"Are you repressing your feelings because you’re heartbroken?"

Kalel said seriously:

"You’re the only person who can break my heart. You’re the only one who has that power over me."

"Just like you’re the only one who can break mine."

Kalel assured him.

"I won’t."

"I know my love."

Kalel kissed him and before his hand reached south A-Xuan tapped it. Kalel looked at him with puppy eyes. A-Xuan pushed him and sat up.

He murmured:

"I have to tell you something."

He honestly can’t believe their luck. He has been feeling different and using CF he saw that there’s a specific reason why.

He’s been worried about it and he didn’t know how to tell him before.

Kalel looked at his worried face and asked after sitting up:

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, it is. I just found out that I’m pregnant."

A-Xuan looked at Kalel intently. He wants to see the smallest shift in his emotions. He doesn’t want him to pretend to be okay with having a baby if he’s not.

It obviously was a surprise but A-Xuan has no plan on getting rid of it. It happened and that’s that, plus it comes from him and his husband.

It comes from the person he loves most so it can only be a good thing.

If it would’ve happened before he would’ve been scared and worried because he didn’t know for sure if his husband would follow him and he didn’t know his identity.

But now it’s different and he wants to raise the baby and be there for it. What worries him is if Kalel is not ready or if he thinks having a baby is a bad idea.

If he does then I’ll just leave and raise it by myself. Kalel gazed as A-Xuan looked down with sad eyes.

His throat felt tight and he whispered after swallowing with difficulty:

"We’re having a baby?"

A-Xuan looked up and saw that Kalel was crying. He couldn’t tell if it was from happiness or sadness and couldn’t take the stress anymore.

He shook Kalel by the shoulders like a crazy person and yelled:

"Are you happy or not?"

Kalel looked at him incredulously then started to laugh. A-Xuan looked at him with narrowed eyes. Yeah okay, I’m done.

He got up but Kalel pulled him onto his lap.

"Baby I love you and you love me so something that’s born from it can only be a good thing."

A-Xuan nodded tearing up. This kind of been eating at him so hearing Kalel echoing what he thought is the best.

A-Xuan kissed him and leaned his forehead against Kalel’s.

"I was a little worried."

"I know but you didn’t have to, you and I will do everything together. I love you."

"Me too my love."

Lex was in his office thinking about last night. I can’t believe that fucker Elwyn divorced Drea without telling me. The only reason he’s not going to kill him is that A-Xuan is engaged to Kalel.

He smiled at this thought. He never thought in a million years that A-Xuan would be the son he is most proud of. He’s always been closer to Drea because he thinks the same as him.

At least he did until he ran away. When he read online this morning that Jax and Elwyn have been fired from Grey strategy he was glad that Elwyn divorced him.

It might’ve been problematic with Kalel who’s about to marry A-Xuan. Jax even called him this morning to tell him that Elwyn got into a car accident and that he was paralyzed.

He couldn’t care less and he said that now that they are no longer family he was done with them. He looked up when he heard a knock.

Three men came in but he only recognized Cila Ken from the gala. He stood up and said:

"Hello, Mr. Ken. What can I do for you?"

He has no idea why he’s here but he knows he is an important figure. He waved at them to seat and two of them did.

"Hello, Mr. Hayes. I came because I need to talk to you about your hotel."

Lex’s eyes lit up. Did kalel already spread the word about it? He can’t believe how fast he is. Already one of the most famous archeologists wants to stay there.

He smiled.

"Of course tell me."

"After investigating we found out that beneath your hotel is buried the lost tribe."

Lex’s face fell, if he is here that means he wants to dig up the tribe. Which means he has to destroy his hotel first.

He took a breath calming himself and said with tension:

"You have no proof that there are even bodies beneath it. Do you think I would build a hotel if I knew there were corpses? Where did you get that idea?"

Cila handed him a few papers and Lex’s face became ashen. They used seismometers without his knowledge to see underneath his hotel. Why would they do that unless someone hinted at it?

Clearly, that person deliberately did this and has malicious intent. He can probably be bought with money then.

"How much do you want to bury this information?"

"I’ll have to check with the boss."

Cila made a quick phone call while Lex looked at him tensely. Cila hung up and handed him a card.

"He said he’ll bury the information once you settle on a price. Here is the mailing address. He said that if you don’t send him a mail in the next 5 minutes he won’t do business with you. Goodbye."

Lex looked at Cila and the two men leaving with anger. He looked at the paper he had left on his desk.

After reading them he ripped them with rage and tossed them. They already have all the permits to start destroying his hotel, everything is legal.

That asshole really planned all of this. He took the card and sent an email.

A-Xuan relaxed at home for the next few days. More like he was forced, ever since Kalel found out about his pregnancy he’s been like a mother hen.

At first, when he told him that he would go see Lex after he was done with his plan he told him to go with 2 bodyguards since he would be pissed.

But when he found out about his bun in the oven he decided to go with him plus the two bodyguards. If he even coughed he would run to him worried.

They were in the car on their way there and A-Xuan looked at the hand Kalel was playing with, a smile on his face.

Lex was in his office waiting for the mysterious man. After he talked to the man about the price he needed to pay he had to deal with a lot of things.

He proposed all the cushions he had for the hotel he had set aside but it wasn’t enough.

When he offered literally all the money he had and he said it still wasn’t enough he said he would accept residence as payment too.

He had to give all the mansions that were listed including his own house. He has to move out in a week.

After sending him all the money and the deeds for the houses and buildings he owned he said that he would give him the ratification for the burial of the lost tribe in hand.

He had no choice but to give him first to show trust. It was really funny to him that he would be the one who doesn’t think he can trust him when he is blackmailing him.

At least now he’ll be able to meet him and get that paperback. Once it’s dealt with he’ll meet his son and Kalel and have them publicize his hotel.

It’s no big deal that all I have left is my hotel since it’s about to blow up, soon people will fight to get inside. With Kalel as backup, that mysterious man will pay.
