The four courtyards of the Disciple Temple are the Gami Courtyard, the Buddha Worship Hall, the Sacred Heart Institute, and the Saint Buddha Institute.

Most ordinary fated ones are assigned to the lowest-ranking Gami Courtyard. Those with a Wisdom Root and a heart for Buddhism are sent to the Buddha Worship Hall, while only the most outstanding individuals go to the Sacred Heart Institute.

As for the Saint Buddha Institute, it is a place only a reincarnated Holy Child can enter.

The term "Holy Child" is not exclusively for the reincarnations of True Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

The reincarnation of a documented Arhat or a person of great virtue and goodness from a past life—the reincarnation of a figure like Hai Shu Bodhisattva, for instance—can also be called a Holy Child.

However, based on their past lives, the reincarnations of Bodhisattvas and True Buddhas are undoubtedly much rarer and a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence.

Once someone enters the Saint Buddha Institute, it signifies their future accomplishments will reach at least the level of a Zen Master. Since he was the one who brought this future Zen Master, the credit and rewards he stood to gain would be enormous.

Furthermore, if that child one day had the chance to ascend from Zen Master to the rank of Bodhisattva, it would become his most significant contribution to the Great Virtue Temple.

For this very reason, Qing Yuan's excitement was beyond words. He couldn't help but glance at Qing Nan and the fated one he had brought, who were standing in the back. A sneer formed in his mind. 'I can't believe Qing Nan actually dared to come to the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall with us.'

This visit to the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall to see Hai Shu Bodhisattva was originally for the Bodhisattva to give guidance to Saint Child Ming Hui. However, Qing Yuan now had another idea.

After Saint Child Ming Hui stepped back, Qing Yuan immediately spoke, respectfully addressing Hai Shu Bodhisattva:

"Bodhisattva, a Holy Child who is the reincarnation of a Bodhisattva has appeared in my Golden Lotus State. This is a joyous event for the entire Great Virtue Temple. But while welcoming the Holy Child, I also saw my junior brother, Qing Nan, whom I haven't seen in a long time.

Junior Brother Qing Nan accompanied us here. I imagine this means his Cyan Lotus State has also had a significant find and he wishes for an audience with the Bodhisattva."

He feigned a humble opening, his attitude revealing no ulterior motive. His gaze toward Qing Nan in the back was filled with a smile.

Anyone who didn't know better would have thought he and Qing Nan were on excellent terms.

Hearing Qing Yuan's words, a thoughtful look appeared in Hai Shu Bodhisattva's eyes. Sure enough, he saw the silent Qing Nan at the back, and a smile appeared on his face as well.

"Qing Nan, you have not returned to the Land of Goodness for ten years. Are you here today on important business?"

Seeing that Hai Shu Bodhisattva had called his name, Qing Nan immediately stepped forward, walking to the front to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Qing Yuan.

He first glanced at Qing Yuan. Their eyes met, and smiles appeared on both their faces. He then bowed to Hai Shu Bodhisattva.

"Bodhisattva, the Cyan Lotus State's connection to Buddhism is weak. For nine years, not a single fated one has appeared. Out of shame, I have not returned to the Land of Goodness. However, I am here today bearing news of great joy, and I ask for the Bodhisattva's judgment."

"Oh?"

A cold sneer appeared on the face of Qing Yuan at the side, but Hai Shu Bodhisattva showed a look of confusion.

He first looked at everyone present, but they had all entered the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall with Qing Yuan. Qing Nan, on the other hand, had been standing at the back with only one person following him.

If it were just an ordinary fated one, Qing Nan would have had no need to come here. Clearly, the person he brought was no ordinary individual.

One could only say a Bodhisattva was truly a Bodhisattva; with just a single glance, he had already deduced the reason.

"Could it be..."

"That's right! Although the Cyan Lotus State, where I reside, has a weak connection to Buddhism, a Holy Child has also appeared during this Buddhist Assembly—and it is a Holy Child who is a True Buddha Reincarnation!

This is a great fortune for my Cyan Lotus State, and a great fortune for the Land of Goodness!"

Qing Nan replied at once, appearing extremely excited.

'A Holy Child who is a True Buddha Reincarnation?!'

The moment he said this, a huge commotion erupted among the people in the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall. Everyone subconsciously looked toward Yang An, who had entered the hall with Qing Nan.

They all knew very well that he was the only one present who was not part of their group.

'This person is a Holy Child who's a True Buddha Reincarnation?!'

They had originally thought that the appearance of a Holy Child who was a Bodhisattva reincarnation was already a rare, major event. They never expected there would also be a Holy Child who was a True Buddha Reincarnation.

The appearance of a Bodhisattva's reincarnation in his Golden Lotus State was an unprecedented blessing, the first in its history. And now, the Cyan Lotus State had also produced a Holy Child—and one who was the even rarer reincarnation of a True Buddha.

In just an instant, Qing Yuan's scorn for Qing Nan transformed into intense resentment and jealousy.

Since Qing Nan dared to bring someone for an audience with Hai Shu Bodhisattva, it meant he would never try to pass off a fake. If he dared to do so, it would be a grievous sin. Therefore, no one present, including Qing Yuan, had the slightest doubt.

Qing Nan immediately looked back at Yang An. Yang An could only bite the bullet and walk forward, feeling both nervous and helpless.

'First, I had to play along with De Hou's posturing in Celestial Buddha City. Now, I have to play along with Qing Nan's posturing here in the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall, right in front of a Bodhisattva.'
