After the dust settled, the divine being was finally able to get a good look at the enemy. What they saw was a black humanoid being with a body that appeared to be made of metal like his. But the metal that made up their body was black, while his was silvery gray.

The enemy was also big. In fact, the enemy was a giant. They looked twice as big as he was and three times as muscular.

As he watched, he confirmed that the enemy was injured. This was because he could see deep grooves all over the enemy’s body where his swords had cut.

So despite the incredible defense of the enemy, they had still been injured by his attack. This gave him some confidence in the outcome of this fight.

He became so confident that he didn’t even flinch when he saw the deep grooves on the body of the enemy heal and close. The enemy was clearly removing every trace of his attack, but it cost them some of their lifespan to do so, so it was a good thing for him.

At this point, he had confirmed that the enemy was a divine being like him. This was because they had a golden flame burning above their head.
