Point-of-View: Anarchy/Liling Jin

"You cannot be serious. Are you insane!?" Snapped Dracula in disbelief.

"Chaotic, not insane, there’s a difference," I huffed in response.

"I’m so not on board with this, it’s literally suicide," Sighed Wrest apprehensively.

"I hate to agree with this dick, but...I agree with what he just said," Added Arisu with a grimace.

"Come on, you guys! Where’s your sense of adventure? It’ll be fun, just think about it!" I tried to persuade them.

"Gotta go with the others on this, boss, this is crazy," Replied Afro sheepishly.

"Seriously, you too, man?" I groaned in dismay.

"You certainly seem to have a strong desire to be in the thick of things. Why exactly do you want to do this?" Chimed in Saint Germain curiously.

A short while had passed since Hell’s invasion began and Lucifer showed up to tell us that we aren’t gonna factor into their plans. Naturally, that pissed me off.

So, I suggested that we move out the entirety of Chaos against the invaders from Hell, blindside them a bit in retaliation. But, as you’ve just seen, the response to my suggestion hasn’t been an encouraging one.

"Oh, I thought that was obvious. I want to stir things up and piss off Satan, that’s pretty much all there is to it," I answered with a shrug.

"Do as you please, but leave me out of it. I have no intention of getting involved," Remarked Dracula with a huff.

"Come on, doesn’t this piss you off too? I mean, you’ve allied yourself with Hell in the past, during their previous, failed invasions, right? So, aren’t you angry that they were so dismissive of us, and by extention, you, this time?" I pointed out.

"Perhaps, but it is not worth the trouble retaliating. After all, when at full power, the Demons of Sin are more powerful than I am. Of course, that does not mean I am incapable of defeating them, but it would take far more effort than it’s worth. I would much rather prefer to go into hiding and lay low until it is over," He responded firmly.

"Ugh, seriously? That’s so boring," I sighed in exasperation.

"Don’t you think you’re forcing the issue here? And besides, even if you do go out there, you probably won’t survive anyway. You may be stronger than the Category 0s, but you’re only powerful when compared to humans. Your chances of defeating a Demon are slim at best," Spoke up Glenn.

"Oh, I beg to differ. Sure, I’m not as strong or fast as they are, but I’ve got a powerful weapon in my arsenal," I countered, as I formed a Chaos Blast between my hands, combining my Dark and Light Skills, "With this, no matter how powerful my opponent is, I’m guaranteed to inflict severe damage. And since we’ve been doing absolutely nothing for the last few months, I’ve been working on improving my mastery over it. Trust me when I say I have no intention of dying so easily."

"Wait for it...almost there...now!" I exclaimed in a sharp whisper, as I sprang out from behind a couch and leapt onto the Demon’s back, covering his mouth with my right hand and wrapping my left arm around his neck as tightly as I could.

He let out a choked, muffled gasp of alarm, right before Adelmira shot forward and slammed her palm onto his chest, blood trickling out as she pierced into his body with a narrow, snaking stream of water, before rapidly branching it out inside of him.

"Come on, hurry up and die already!" She hissed impatiently, right before she hit his core and his body began to disintegrate, as I let go of him.

"One down...and a whole lot more to go. Including the Demon of Sin and the other one with the large Aura," I sighed with a grimace.

"Yeah, about that one...was he really who I think he is?" She frowned in response.

"I mean, sure looks like he is, doesn’t he? Well, it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t change what we need to-...," I began, before trailing off as I heard some voices from outside.

"...went in here and has not come out yet."

"Are you certain?"

"Yes, I saw him go in a couple of minutes ago, he should have been back out by now."

Oh, crap...looks like one of the other Demons noticed the Demon we just killed entering this house. This is really fucking bad, damn it, so much for taking them down one by one...

"What do we do!?" Whispered Adelmira in alarm.

"Stay calm...if they enter, we’ll just have to kill them. Simple as that," I responded quietly, doing my best to keep my cool.

"Sure, but simple doesn’t mean easy, you know. Ugh, fine...guess we don’t really have a choice," She relented with a strained sigh.

"Sounds like they’re both heading towards the entrance, let’s hide and then each take on one of them," I suggested, before we picked separate hiding spots as she nodded in agreement.

I then heard the footsteps of the Demons growing closer, entering the house. My chest is pounding, I hope they can’t hear it...I steeled myself as they came into sight, a slight sense of relief washing over me as I saw that they were Devils, not Demons.

Alright, here goes! I sprang out from behind the couch I’d hidden behind, maxing out my Reinforce technique as I drove my fist towards the one closer to, his eyes widening in alarm as he noticed me too late to react.

My fist slammed onto his left side with a loud crunch, before he got sent flying across to his right and crashing onto the other Devil with immense force, the two of them getting slammed onto the wall as the Devil I struck let out a sharp gasp as he began to disintegrate, right before Adelmira fired out her Piercing Water Beam at the other Devil.

He began to try and scramble back onto his feet in desperation, but he was too slow to respond, the beam piercing through the middle of his torso and hitting his core, killing him as he began to turn to ash.

"I might have messed up...that was really loud," I grimaced, as I heard several Demons and Devils heading this way.

I should’ve held back my punch a bit more, damn it, that was way overkill.

"We should get out of here, or we’ll be like cornered rats," Suggested Adelmira, before we both took off as I nodded affirmatively, heading for the front entrance.

As we got to the open doorway, I sprang out with my arms spread out wide, before swinging them in and slamming my palms together, creating a small but powerful shockwave that burst out and knocked several of the incoming Devils and Demons off-balance. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

I then leapt towards a Demon, grabbing his ankle before she could fly out of my reach and then slammed her onto the ground with all my strength, and as another Demon came zipping towards me, I swung her across towards him, her head slamming onto the middle of his chest with a loud crunch.

Adelmira then sliced the Demon I’d hit with her water beam, and as I spotted a red glimmer beginning to shrink back into the flesh, she fired out another beam and struck the core, piercing it and killing the Demon.

I then slammed the Demon I was holding onto against the ground again, before raising my foot and stomping onto the middle of her torso will all my strength, the impact traveling through her body and shattering her core, as she began to disintegrate with a look of horror on her face.

"Stand down," A voice cut through, as the remaining Devils and Demons surrounding us began to converge in towards us.

I glanced in the direction that the voice came from, grimacing as I spotted the Demon of Sin, along with the other one with the powerful Aura.

"Crap...," Muttered Adelmira with a frown.

"All of you, go find more humans to subjugate. The two of us will deal with this pair, they are too powerful for you. It will be a waste of resources if you fight them," Remarked the Demon of Sin, before the other Demons and the Devils scattered away.

"I’ll take the Demon of Sin. The other one’s all yours," I said to Adelmira, before approaching the Demon of Sin, "You really think you’ve got what it takes to ’deal with’ me, do you? Well, then, by all means...why don’t you try and back up that claim?"
