Fuck! Fuck! Shit! Damn it!
This is really bad, I’m not sure how much longer I can keep this up! I’m sustaining severe damage, and while I am able to heal those injuries almost instantly, my Aura is getting used up way too quickly for my liking.
And I’ve barely put a dent in the number of Demons and Devils that showed up...I’ve weakened and killed several, but there’s hundreds of them here! Damn it, this must be Satan’s response to me killing Asmodeus.
He must have decided to kill me with disposable numbers instead of risking more of his most valuable subordinates. Quantity over quality...and it’s working, these Demons are overwhelming me!
I sprang back as a Demon tore off my right arm, extending out a bone spike from my torso towards him, injecting him with light energy as the spike pierced his body, while I regrew my arm as quickly as possible.
I grimaced with a stifled hiss of pain as I felt a deep cut slashing across my back, before I burst out bone spikes from my spikes and channeled light energy through them, healing the deep cut on my back.
I then fired out a blast of Dispel as a Negative Blast came shooting towards me, canceling it out, before a powerful force struck my left side, shattering my arm and fracturing my ribs as I got sent flying across.
I burst out a shockwave of light energy as several Demons came flying towards me from multiple directions, keeping them at bay before narrowly avoiding getting pierced through the heart, as a Demon’s arm burst through the middle of my chest.
I grabbed his arm and manipulated his bones to burst out branching spikes inside of his body, the Demon coughing out blood with an agonized wheeze before disintegrating as I hit his core.
I then raced across while firing out light energy blasts, getting some distance to give myself a moment to regain my composure and fully heal my injuries...but more Demons were already closing in on me, barely a second of respite afforded to me.
Damn it, I’m reaching the end of my rope here...I’m not sure how much longer I can keep this up for...

"Get behind me, you two...," I instructed with a grimace, as I healed several injuries all over my body, my fur matted with blood.
As for the twins, the two of them had reached their limit, I can’t expect them to be able to fight anymore. On top of all the injuries they were already nursing, Petra just lost her left leg from below the knee, and Dieter has lost his right hand from around the wrist.
I was quick to grab them and then run off as far as I could with them, but with this many Demons on my tail, getting away while not empty-handed proved to be impossible. And now, we’re cornered.
The twins literally have their backs against a wall, I’m having to fight while protecting them, and there’s a few hundred or so Demons and Devils in front of us.
I can’t dodge their ranged attacks, or they’ll hit the twins. So I have to either cancel out, deflect or absorb their attacks, and it’s starting to seriously wear me down, I’m starting to reach the end of my rope here.
The more I heal, the faster I get worn out, and I’ve been healing almost constantly for the last few minutes, I can feel the fatigue starting to set in at an alarmingly rapid pace. My body feels heavy, my vision is blurring slightly around the edges, but I can’t stop...I have to keep fighting.
Because if I don’t...I’ll die. And Dieter and Petra won’t survive long after that. But I’m running out of steam fast here, at this rate...at this rate, it’s only a matter of time before I’m finished...

"Damn it, quit following me, you bastards!" I snapped, as I turned around and fired out a powerful blast of lightning behind me.
It struck some of the Demons and Devils chasing after me, killing one of the latter and injuring several others, but it didn’t even slow them down. I’m faster than them, but I can’t keep flying away indefinitely.
If I use this ability for too long, it’ll start to damage me internally, and with no way to heal, I’ll be in major trouble if that happens. I have to turn things around somehow, but what the hell are my options in this situation, huh!?
Crap, I got distracted, there’s more Demons coming my way from up ahead! I zipped off to the left, the dozens upon dozens of invaders from Hell chasing after me at top speed, firing out Elemental attacks at me.
A fireball narrowly missed hitting my shoulder, just barely whizzing over me, before I felt a rock blast graze my left side, grimacing as I fired out streaks of lightning from my feet towards the Demons behind me.
These attacks aren’t nearly enough to kill them, this level of damage is nothing to them, they can heal from it instantly. Should I try charging up another blast from the sky? That should certainly kill a fair number of them...but not enough, and I’ll be dangerously low on Aura if I use that.
Hm? Shit, they’re starting to catch up to me! No doubt about it, I’m starting to lose speed, and fast! I grimaced as I felt twinges of pain throbbing across several spots on my body...this is bad, I can’t keep flying for much longer, I’m already past my current limit with this technique!
I then let out a cry of pain as a black fireball struck my back, scorching my skin painfully as my vision blurred, losing control of my flight and starting to plummet towards the ground, immense pain emanating from my back.
And as I fell, the large number of Demons and Devils came swooping down towards me, Elemental attacks raining down in my direction as I desperately tried to reactivate my flight...come on, damn it, I have to pull this off! Otherwise...I’m gonna die...

"The rumors were true, it would seem. Witches really are quite powerful," Remarked one of the two Demons I’d been fighting.
"It would appear so. She is rather formidable," The other one nodded in agreement.
They’d introduced themselves as, uh...let me think, what was it again? Oh, right, now I remember...of the Thirteen Fiends, Fiend Mu, Pirate Anne Bonny and Fiend Nu, Pirate Mary Read.
That’s pretty much word for word on how they introduced themselves. Well, the ’Pirate’ part was a bit unnecessary, considering how they’re dressed.
"I suppose I’ll take the compliment, though I don’t appreciate being spoken about as if I’m not here. Also, you seem awfully calm for a pair about to die," I remarked dryly, as I tightened the grip of the binding Spell I’d used on them.
"You are powerful, but you overestimate yourself, Witch," Scoffed Mary Read, before exclaiming, "Now, Unique Technique: Mark Read!"
I stared in bewilderment as she formed a clone of herself...but crossdressed.
"What’s the point of a clone if it doesn’t look identical to you?" I inquired in confusion, as I sent more energy bindings shooting out towards the clone.
"When I was alive, I dressed as a man during my years of piracy, female pirates were quite rare, you see. And this ability creates a clone of myself disguised as a man, but that is not important...what is important, is that this clone is equally as powerful as I am, however, cannot be destroyed. You see, this clone does not have a core, so it can regenerate indefinitely!" She declared triumphantly.
"Yeah, I doubt that it’s indefinite...you’re fueling it with your Aura, aren’t you? So, my options are to wait till you’re worn out...or alternatively, destroy your core, that should take care of the clone as well," I replied, as I continued to chase after the clone with my streaks, attempting to bind it.
"Why would you give away so much detail about your ability?" Sighed Anne Bonny in exasperation, before glancing back at me, "Do you truly believe that we cannot break free of this?
Well, allow me to correct that wrong assumption of yours. When I was alive, I slew a beast that was thought to be legendary and mythical, and now, as a Demon, that creature is a part of my very being...behold, Unique Technique: Giant Squid!"
My bindings snapped and broke off as six massive tentacles burst out of her lower back, before she used them to tear apart the bindings around her partner.
I grimaced as the clone began flying this way too, all three of them with their gazed locked into me. Uh-oh...well, this just took a turn, I’m in trouble. Crap, I should never have gotten involved in this...
