Chapter 257: Chapter 256 - Invasion(Part 22)

Point-of-View: Satan

———————————————————————————

Ah, this is much better. Finally, there is no one in this world who is overwhelming my forces. I’ve lost more Fiends and Demons of Sin than I would have preferred, but I suppose it is an acceptable sacrifice.

Once the Outliers and that Werewolf have been dealt with, there will be no more genuine threats to us other than the Deities. The oldest Witches will have no interest in resisting us, and most other Witches will likely not fight back either, so we can leave them alone.

The one fighting Fiends Nu and Mu should be dealt with shortly. Many Werewolf packs and Elf settlements have been wiped out as well, and a handful of Vampires who put up a resistance have also been killed.

My only concern then will be the Deities. I shall have my remaining Demons of Sin fight them one by one as a group...ideally, most of the Deities will be dead by the time Heaven intervenes.

Ah, wait, there is also Chaos to consider...I suppose that I shall deal with them personally, it is the least I can do as a courtesy to our former alliance.

Laplace is another concern, but he is far too unpredictable to properly account for. If he decides to get in my way, then I shall deal with him, but trying to hunt him down if he does not want to be found will be an effort in futility, I would only be wasting my time.

Aurora should not be a problem, I sent her to an area in Hell that’s extremely far from the bridge. If she knew where to go, with her speed, she would likely be able to get there in a fairly short time.

However, Hell is not easy to navigate for those who have not lived there, so the only way she could find out is if a Demon or Devil told her. But that should be unlikely...I gave all those who remain in Hell a warning that they would be executed if they give any help to an outsider.

As the creator of Demons and Devils, they are instinctively geared towards obeying me...going against a direct order from me would require an immense amount of desperation and despair. Even if one were to break and tell her what she wants to know, other Demons would swoop in and kill the offender.

Therefore, the chances of her escaping Hell any time soon is-...huh? I stood up with an alarmed start as my surroundings suddenly changed, endless darkness in every direction.

But I could still see myself clearly, is this some sort of illusion? No...it is a Space Skill technique, could it be Laplace? The Space Dragon Deity should not be capable of this, and yet, this does not feel like it is Laplace’s doing.

It is faint, but I can sense the Aura that is powering this technique...and I am quite certain that it does not belong to Laplace. It is too unrefined to be him, but even so...it is highly advanced and powerful.

Suddenly, as I blinked, my surroundings returned to what they had been before...except for the fact that I was surrounded by all of the Elemental Deities with the exception of Laplace.

A small portal then opened and something was tossed out of it, bouncing along the ground and rolling towards me, bumping against my feet. My eyes widened in disbelief...it was Laplace’s head, decapitated.

"I do not know how I got here, but I suppose I ought to thank whoever is responsible for this," Growled the Pyro Dragon Deity, Inferno, menacingly.

"Indeed, I look forward to crushing you with my bare hands," Remarked Titan, the Rival Terra Deity.

"It is over, Satan, you will not survive this time. Heaven will not even need to intervene," Added the Aqua Dragon Deity, Vapora.

Tch, this is a dire situation, I need to recall my Demons of Sin immediately-...I then froze as a devastatingly powerful Aura burst out from behind me...coming from the bridge between Hell and the living world.

"Yo. You put me through Hell back there, pun intended. Still, though, I managed to power up quite a bit, so you better say your prayers, asshole," Came that unpleasantly dangerous voice, sounding displeased, "Wait, do Demons even pray? Whatever, doesn’t matter. Either way, you’re fucking dead."

Impossible...how did she escape so quickly!?

Point-of-View: Neo Cronje

Something’s starting to feel different...it’s strange. I’m worn out, hungry, thirsty and just completely drained in general, but still...there’s an eerie sense of calm about me.

It’s been slowly but surely building in the last few-...well, I’m not sure how long, I’ve completely lost track of time in here, I don’t have a clue how long I’ve been trapped here. But I can feel something stirring inside me, churning and mixing with my powers...

"Oh, you’re still alive, huh? I should tell you, your friends aren’t doing too good out there. Well, it’s part my fault, I’ve been teleporting some of them around to more dangerous areas every time they escape danger, it shouldn’t be long before they’re all dead," Came Laplace’s voice tauntingly, sounding amused.

"Is that so?" I muttered in response, barely listening to him as I was still focused on the sensation I was feeling.

Am I reading this right? Do I...feel good right now? It doesn’t make sense, but...that’s exactly the impression I’m getting...

"Have you given up already? You’ve stopped attempting to break out of here for a while now. I’m disappointed, I expected a lot more of you," He sighed wistfully, shaking his head.

"That’s too bad," I replied absent-mindedly.

Hm...I think I’ll let this feeling guide me, see where it goes. I’m in really bad physical shape right now, and yet...there’s a strangely calm, assured confidence about me. Maybe I’m just delusional and this is all in my head...but at this point, I’ve got nothing to lose...

"Huh, maybe you’re broken already, I suppose I-...," He began, right before I abruptly cut him off...by decapitating him with a portal.

I didn’t move so much as a muscle, taking over his Dimension in an instant. Now, I’m in control.

"It’s about time you shut the hell up," I muttered icily, my vision blurring and my head pounding as I got onto my feet.

I feel like I could collapse at any given moment now, but at the same time, I also feel like I can do absolutely anything right now. This feels amazing.

"Th-that was...brilliant...," He gasped with a slight smirk, coughing out blood before the light faded from his eyes.

He’s finally dead, I finally managed to kill him. I...I did it. I fucking did it! And it’s about damn time too!

"Now, then...," I mumbled to myself, as I closed my eyes and focused on the Dimension...before turning it inside out and engulfing the entire world with it.

I can feel everything...every single person, animal, Demon, plant, fish, insect, you name it...I can feel every last living thing in the world.

Let’s shuffle things around, shall we? I then warped all the Demons and Devils to deserted areas, like the middle of the ocean, wastelands, tundras, and of course, deserts.

Now, where are the Outliers and Harmony members? Hm, I don’t sense Aurora, strange...but the other Outliers are all alive, though they seem to be struggling. I don’t sense most of the Category 0s and a lot of the other Harmony members that I know. Oh, there’s Serafine, she’s struggling too.

I then transported everyone I could identify to the Antarctican hidden base. Ah, I found Satan...let’s just send all the Elemental Deities there, shall we? Mhm, there we go, perfect.

And now, for Chaos...found them. Let’s dump them all into an active volcan-...agh! I stumbled as my vision blurred and darkened, collapsing onto my knees weakly...damn it, I’m at my limit. I don’t think I can stay conscious for much longer.

I grimaced and strained to keep my eyes open, staying awake with all the willpower I could muster...before warping myself to the Antarctican hidden base, releasing the inside out Dimension technique and collapsing onto the ground.

Oh, it’s nice and cool...I think I hear voices around me, but I can’t hear what they’re saying, it’s all muffled and unclear. Ah, wait, I think I see what happened...I didn’t just collapse because I’m in a weakened state.

Well, I’m sure that’s a part of it, but the main reason...is because I just used up all of my Aura. Guess enveloping the entire world in my Dimension drained my Aura in a matter of seconds. I’m starting to pass out here...everything’s going dark...
