Point-of-View: Zoraiz Rafayet

My old room, the first one I used when I was taken in by Harmony...it’s kinda nostalgic, seeing it again, it’s been ages since I was last here. Things sure have changed a lot lately, huh?

Ever since that Meta-Orb crash landed in my trailer, nothing’s been the same. And honestly...I have no complaints. My life before I gained powers was pretty shitty, to put it lightly.

I had to steal food just to survive on a daily basis, I had no friends or any positive presences in my life after my mom died, and I was pretty miserable most of the time.

But now, there are so many people who I like and are important to me. Sure, I’ve faced a lot of life threatening danger and stuff, but overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Speaking of life threatening danger, it’s probably just a few more hours before I’m thrust into another such situation...yeah, so not looking forward to that.

But it has to be done...and there aren’t a lot of people more powerful than I am, so I can’t sit it out. There are a lot of people whom I want to protect now, so I’ll do what I have to...one person in particular, is-...

Hm? Someone’s knocking on my door...wonder who it could be? Maybe there’s a change in plan or something? Don’t tell me, Neo can’t pull this off, after all?

"Yeah? Who is it?" I spoke up, as I walked over to the door and opened it.

"Hey...it’s just me," Alexis greeted me, as I swung the door open.

Huh, speak of the devil.

"Oh, hey. What’s up? Is something the matter?" I responded, as she fidgeted slightly.

"No, nothing like that...I just, um...I just really wanted to see you," She muttered awkwardly, averting her gaze.

That was so cute...

"Wow, uh...I’m really happy to hear that. It’s really-...," I began, before she suddenly cut me off by leaping into my arms, throwing her arms around my shoulders and kissing me, nearly knocking me over.

As I stumbled back into the room and kissed her back, I used my foot to push the door shut, before walking back towards the bed and letting myself fall onto it, as she fervently caressed my lips with hers.

"I...I love you," She whispered affectionately as she pulled away, her cheeks flushed as she traced her fingertips along my jaw, making my heart skip a beat.

Holy crap...I’m so overwhelming happy right now, like I’ve never been before...

"I love you too...there’s nothing and no one in the world that I care about more than I care about you," I replied with a warm smile, as I cupped her cheek and she leaned into my touch with a bashful smile.

"I feel the same way...during the Deity training, and during this invasion, you were practically the only thing on my mind. I was so happy when I finally saw you again, and unbelievably glad to see that you were okay," She responded, kissing my cheek before placing her forehead onto mine as a grin began to spread out across her lips.

"Yeah...me too," I grinned giddily, as I brushed her hair back and tucked it behind her ear.

"Wanna make out some more?" She suggested with a seductive whisper.

"I really do."

"Then do it...in fact, you can do anything you want to me right now. Absolutely anything," She smirked teasingly, before I flipped her over so that I was on top, my right knee pushing up between her legs as I pinned her down.

"Right back at you," I replied, as I leaned down and kissed her passionately, a slight moan escaping her lips as she arched her back.

She then slid her hands under my shirt and ran her fingers across my torso, while I let my fingertips trail down her sides, tracing them around her hips and causing her to tremble slightly.

She reached for the end of my shirt and gave it a tug, I briefly pulled away from her lips and let her yank off my shirt, as she ran her fingertips across my chest. She then gave me a seductive look as she glanced down at her own top, inviting me to take it off.

I obliged without hesitation, undoing her buttons and sliding it off her shoulders. She then sat up and tugged at my trousers as she kissed my neck, and in the next few seconds, we were both fully undressing each other, practically tearing off our clothes before falling back onto the mattress, rolling around as we kissed each other ravenously.

She pushed her thigh in between my legs, as I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer towards me, pressing our bodies against each other more firmly as she twirled her tongue around mine.

She then flipped us around, sitting up and straddling me while her hands were on my chest, the two of us breathing heavily as we tried to catch our breath.

My right hand trailed down her back and onto her butt, giving it a firm squeeze as my left hand went up to her chest and cupped one of her breasts, while she let her right hand wander down below my waist...

"It’s been a while since I first saw this...," She whispered as she took hold of it with a firm grasp, before adding, "Mm, ever since then, I’ve wondered what it feels like...you wanna show me what you can do with it?"

"With pleasure." 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Point-of-View: Neo Cronje

"I see...that’s a pretty decent plan. My memories are getting less and less murky the more I rest, and...I feel like I have a better understanding of what I’m capable of now. But...in my current state, I think I’ll only barely able to pull off something on this scale. It won’t be easy...and I probably won’t be able to do much for a while afterwards.

So, if anyone’s struggling, I might not be able to save them in time. I’ll push my limits as far as I possibly can, but realistically speaking, I’ll only be able to help out to a small extent," I replied with a frustrated grimace, before coughing as I strained my voice too much, twinges of pain erupting across my back as I coughed.

Damn it...if only I was in a better physical state, if only I’d managed to escape from Laplace’s dimension a lot sooner...

"Then that’ll just have to be good enough. Pretty much all of us owe you our lives, you know," Responded Inoka with a wry smile.

"You’re wrong about that. After all, I’m the one who dragged you into this in the first place...the Meta-Orbs scattering was my mistake, and it ruined your lives," I grimaced in frustration and remorse.

"What, are you kidding me? Sure, it was a jarring experience to have things change so suddenly and drastically, but...I can honestly say that my life is better now than it was before. And I’m sure the others would say the same.

I mean, Aurora was living out in the wild, Zoraiz lived in a trailer park, Alexis had an abusive household, the twins were a part of a shady circus, and Adelmira-...okay, that last one might not be the same case, but you get what I mean," He pointed out.

"Even so, the fact that all of you are now risking your lives for this, it’s-..."

"Mhm, the powers we acquired were positives. Regardless of whether the Meta-Orbs had been scattered or not, Liling probably would’ve still gone on to establish Chaos, and Hell would almost certainly have invaded as well.

If we hadn’t gained these powers, we’d likely be helpless against the Demons and Devils, I like that I’m able to fight and defend myself. And I’m sure you remember, I was living a pretty rock bottom life before you found me, the Meta-Orb crashing into my apartment might have been the best thing that’s ever happened to me," He remarked without hesitation.

"I’m glad you feel that way, truly...in which case, the least I can do is everything I can to ensure that this plan works. No matter what it takes, I’ll make sure that I play my part as close to perfection as I possibly can," I declared as I felt a sense of determination rising up inside me.

"That’s good enough for me," He grinned in response.

No matter what it takes or how much I need to strain past my limits, I’ll do it. Even if it kills me, I’ll do everything I can to make sure they all come out of this alive...
