Point-of-View: Inoka Fonseka

"Okay, so, I think this is all the remaining Demons of Sin and Fiends, there might be some other Demons close to their level, but we’ll focus on these ones for now. There are four Demons of Sin still alive...Lucifer, Beelzebub, Mammon and Leviathan.

Aurora, you should probably take on Leviathan, since he’s the one we know the least about. As for the remaining members of the Thirteen Fiends, there’s six of them. Since none of us encountered some of them, I thought identifying them would be impossible...but they’ve introduced themselves to the people of the cities they’ve taken over.

This one should need no introduction...Adolf Hitler, now also known as Fiend Alpha. This one here introduced herself as Fiend Gamma, Queen Bloody Mary. Next, there’s Fiend Delta, another famous name, Genghis Khan.

This one’s kinda surprising as a Demon...Fiend Zeta, Jeanne D’Arc. And finally, these two who seem to be working as a pair...Fiend Mu and Nu, Anne Bonny and Mary Read," I surmised with a sigh, before adding, "Now we have to decide what would be our best match ups against these ten Demons."

"About that, we don’t know what about half of them are capable of, so how do we decide that?" Inquired Elise with a frown.

"First we’ll have to form as many pairs among ourselves, based on compatibility. Those of us involved in this include myself, Zoraiz, Alexis, Aurora, Fenris, X, Adelmira, the twins, Kiyana, Elise, Leonardo and Serafine.

The other Meta-Humans in this facility aren’t strong enough for this, they’ll only get in our way and end up dying. And we don’t have any other allies to rely on...so yeah, it’s thirteen of us against ten of them.

Unfortunately, Neo won’t be able to transport any of the Deities to help us...these Demons are powerful, he barely has the strength to use his portals on us and them, trying to transport creatures as large and as powerful as the Deities might kill him," I surmised grimly.

"Honestly, I’d really like to take on Lucifer myself, but like you said, it’d be better if I take on the one we know the least about. However, I’d like to add that I should be taking on at least two of the Demons of Sin, even three or four would be no big deal...I can definitely handle it, trust me on that," Remarked Aurora confidently.

"I don’t know about that, it seems pretty risky...as powerful as you are, the Demons of Sin shouldn’t be taken lightly, two of them at the same time seems too dangerous to take on alone," Chimed in Fenris with a look of concern.

Yeah, I have to agree, and Aurora is, by a distance, the strongest one among us. Even with her ability to resurrect, we shouldn’t over-rely on her and end up burdening her too much.

"In that case, how about she takes on Leviathan and one of the Fiends?" Suggested Alexis in response.

"Then how about two Fiends? Like those two that work as a pair?" Replied Aurora with a shrug.

"Actually, let’s have Neo separate those two, why keep two enemies who rely on each other together?" I pointed out, before adding, "I think you should take on Fiend Delta, Geghis Khan. From what I’ve seen online, he’s inflicted the most widespread damage of all the Fiends, so you handle him and Leviathan."

"Fine, but I can definitely take at least one more, or even two or three more for that matter," She grumbled with a huff.

"Let me take on Lucifer...I’ve got a score to settle with that bastard," Volunteered Fenris, as he cracked his knuckles.

"Actually, I think it’d be better if we have a pair take him on. Your fighting style is heavily reliant on your speed, and his abilities are the ideal counter against speed. Outnumbering him is the way to go...Zoraiz, Alexis, can you two handle him?" I inquired, as I turned to the two of them.

"Sure, leave it to us," Nodded Zoraiz affirmatively.

"Yeah, we can take him," Added Alexis with a thumbs up.

"Who should I fight?" Fenris asked, looking a bit disappointed at being denied a rematch with the Sin of Pride.

"Well, it’s between Beelzebub and Mammon...I think it’s going to have to be Mammon, I’ll take on Beelzebub," I decided, after mulling it over.

"Let me come with you, taking on a Demon of Sin by yourself is a tall order," Spoke up Kiyana.

"I appreciate the thought, but we shouldn’t have our only two healers in the same place," I pointed out objectively.

"I disagree...against enemies of this level, we won’t have the luxury of being able to heal others without leaving ourselves wide open. If I’m with you, you won’t need to worry about healing me since I can do so myself. For the two of us, we’ll only get distracted if we fight alongside someone who can’t heal themselves, so it’s better if we eliminate that potential concern," She surmised in response.

"I agree...as much as having a healer would be nice, we wouldn’t be able to make full use of one if we’re fighting in pairs or solo. With no one to keep the enemy occupied, there’s unlikely to be any opportunity to heal others. So you two should instead focus on self-healing," Stated Leonardo in agreement.

"Alright, then...well, that takes care of which of us are going to be fighting the Demons of Sin and one of the Fiends. There’s still five Fiends left, and seven more of us," I frowned, uncertain as to how to divide the remaining options.

Three of them will have to take on a Fiend alone, and except for Serafine, the others might struggle to pull that off...

"Let me take on Anne Bonny, one of those pirate girls. The two of them together was an uphill battle for me, but if it’s just one of them, I’m confident that I can handle her," Declared Serafine assuredly.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked her.

"Yes, I am," She nodded without hesitation.

Well, I’ll take her word for it. That leaves six of us and four more Fiends...what do I do? Definitely can’t separate the twins, they’re much stronger together than they are on their own.

Adelmira and X work well together, so I don’t want to split them up either. Should I let Leonardo and Elise handle two of the Fiends solo? No, they would most likely lose, they’re not strong enough to defeat a Demon of that level on their own.

"I have a suggestion...for the remaining four Demons, why not have it as two sets of three against two?" Suddenly suggested Leonardo.

Hm...yeah, that’s actually a solid idea. What would be the best combination in that case? I think I’ll go with...the twins paired with Leonardo, and Elise joining X and Adelmira. Yeah, that sounds like a decent grouping.

I think I’ll have the former group take on Hitler and Bloody Mary, and the latter take on Jeanne D’Arc and Mary Read.

By the way, if you’re wondering why I’m doing most of the talking here...when we initially began strategizing, it didn’t go great, there were too many conflicting ideas. So, we took a break to try and come up with a proper structure.

One thing led to another, and the next thing I knew, the others were all agreeing to let me lead this and come up with the plan. I protested since I felt like it was too much pressure and responsibility to take onto my shoulders, but they insisted so I relented and went with it.

I’m still not sure why exactly they turned to me to lead this, but since they chose me, I won’t half-ass this. I’ll do everything I can to come up with the perfect plan, or as close to perfect as I can possibly get.

And by perfect, I mean a plan that comes the closest to guaranteeing no casualties. Unfortunately, that’s far from a given...all Demons can regenerate almost indefinitely until they’re out of Aura, so long as their cores remain intact.

They’re strong, fast and have plenty of tricks up their sleeve...we’re at a clear disadvantage here, with the exception of Aurora. That’s why I’m going to have Neo try to save his energy to portal her after the initial launch of this plan.

She’s the most likely one to finish off her opponents first, and once she does, it’ll be upto Neo to transport her elsewhere, to whoever needs backup the most.

Based on how they reacted to the Monster outbreaks, the Deities will most likely target areas where they sense the highest number of Demons, they’ll hunt quantity over quality.

So, it’s unlikely that any of them will show up and help us. It’s upto us to pull this off, to strike as heavy a blow as we possibly can against the invading army...
