Point-of-View: Neo Cronje

"O-okay, I’ve...I’ve located them all," I informed the others, my head pounding as I mustered all my strength to maintain focus.

My body is in a lot of pain, but I have to do this. There’s not much else I can do right now, this is the bare minimum I can contribute here.

"Alright, transport them to the locations we specified, if you’re able to...let us know if you can’t, don’t push yourself too far," Remarked Inoka with a look of concern.

"No, I’m...I’m fine, I can do this. Okay...I have to be fast, or they’ll evade...here I go," I responded quietly, closing my eyes and doing my best to ignore the strain on my body.

I then engulfed all the specified Demons with my portals, relocating them to the areas that the others had specified for each one. My head was hit with a wave of dizziness as I did, I let out a sharp cough as I felt blood trickling out of my nostrils, my vision blurring as I opened my eyes.

D-damn it, I almost passed out just now, the edges of my vision are getting darker and darker. I clenched my fists and bit the inside of my lip to keep myself conscious, wiping away the blood running down from my nostrils.

"Hey, you okay!? This doesn’t look good, maybe you shouldn’t do this, after all," Frowned Zoraiz, as I coughed again.

"I said I’m fine...and I just pulled it off, all the Demons are in place. N-now to...to send you all there...I’ll drop you each in through portals from below to the match ups you decided on," I responded hoarsely, feeling light-headed and faintish.

Come on, just keep it together for a little bit longer, I can rest once this is over. My work here isn’t done yet, I have to do this...!

"We’ll make sure your efforts don’t go to waste...by the time we’re done, all the Demons of Sin and Fiends will be dead," Remarked Aurora with a look of determination in her eyes.

"Sounds good...," I smiled weakly, as I added, "I’m counting on you guys. Alright, here goes...brace yourselves for the drop in three...two...one!"

I then opened portals beneath each of them, dropping them into the areas where I’d transported the Demons, according to each match up they had agreed upon for this.

I let out a pained gasp and doubled over with a sharp cough as I portaled them away, nearly losing consciousness as an immense daze hit me. I-I can’t rest, n-not just yet...I have to keep an eye on them, in case any of them need saving.

I won’t let them die...I won’t let any of them die, no matter what it costs me in the end. I’ll make sure each and every one of them returns alive, even if it’s the last thing I do...

"Where are we!?" I heard one of the Demons snap in bewilderment, as I quietly dropped through the portal and landed a couple dozen meters or so away from them.

"It must have been whoever transported us earlier, could it be another Deity with the Space Skill? Maybe the Space Dragon Deity?" Responded the other one warily.

"If he was capable of this, then why did he not do so during our previous invasions, or much earlier during this one?" Frowned the first one.

"True, and why not transport us to a place where the Deities have gathered and pick us off one by one?" Added the other one in confusion.

Wow, they still haven’t noticed me? Let’s hit ’em with a sneak attack, shall we?

I then shot towards both of them as I activated Dark Cheetah, wrapping several shadowy steaks around my fingers in the shape of long, shape claws, slashing at them both from behind as I closed in.

They let out startled cries of pain as I sent them flying forward at breakneck speeds and crashed onto a nearby waterfall, a very familiar waterfall.

After all this time, I’m finally back here, the place I called home for so very long. The waterfall, the cave, the grass...the familiar sights and scents washed over me with a wave of nostalgia, as the two Demons picked themselves up and flew out of the water.

"You again...was it you? Did you kill Lord Satan?" Growled one of them with a furious look in his eyes.

"Well, as much as I’d like to take credit for that bastard’s death, it was a team effort, and ended with some...let’s call it outside interference, shall we? The details are irrelevant to you, you’re both as good as dead," I remarked icily.

"Insolent bitch...! I am Fiend Delta, Genghis Khan the Conquerer, and you will die by my hand for what you have done!" Snapped one of them furiously.

He had a long, wispy mustache and a long, narrow beard, with thin streaks of facial hair around his face, black hair and black eyes, three short horns on his forehead, a pair of wings and a short, thick tail.

He wore fancy-looking red, gold and black battle armor, was about average height with a slight heavy set build, and had a menacing look on his face.

"And I am the Demon Sin of Envy, Leviathan. You’re a fool if you think you can take the two of us on by yourself, I envy your optimism," Smirked the other one.

He had medium long dark blue hair tied up in a high ponytail, bright golden eyes, with a tall and muscular build. He had a single horn in the middle of forehead that pointed straight forward like a unicorn, bat-like black wings, and a long and wiry tail.

He wore an open black shirt over a white tank top, with black trousers that were tattered at the end and went halfway down his calves. He’s kinda dressed like a slob, gives off a very ’homeless’ vibe. Do they choose their own outfits or what?

"That’s funny, didn’t you see me beat the shit out of your dear leader not too long ago? So, what makes you think that you stand a chance against me?" I inquired with a raised eyebrow, before adding tauntingly, "Yeah, I think I’m the one who envies your optimism. Then again, maybe it’s just delusion in the face of your inevitable death...what do you think?"

"Your arrogance will be the death of you!" Snapped Genghis, as he zipped towards me rapidly, forming a ball of Negative energy as he exclaimed, "Behold, my Unique Technique: Conquerer’s Spirit!"

Suddenly, a clone of him formed as his real body vanished...and I don’t just mean that it turned invisible. No, he’s completely vanished, his scent disappeared too.

I evaded as his clone fired out the charged up Negative Blast, before I leapt at him with immense force, tearing off his head before he could react and sending several shadowy streaks piercing into his body through his neck, tearing him apart into tiny shreds in an instant. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

His real body then reappeared with a stunned look on his face, as Leviathan shot towards me. I rapidly extended out a shadowy streak towards Genghis, wrapping around him before he could dodge, and then swinging him down towards Leviathan with tremendous momentum.

He crashed onto him with a devastating impact, a thick puff of dust bursting out from the ground before they both got sent flying back several meters and crashed onto the side of the cliff, getting embedded deep inside it.

Negative energy then burst out from the cliff as they both emerged, looks of immense anger on their faces...looks like I really pissed them off, didn’t I?

"Damn it...if only I were standing in a country that I had conquered when I was human, my Conquerer’s Spirit technique would have created a double with twice my power, strength and speed!" Growled Genghis, as he brushed off some bits of dirt off his shoulders.

"Aw, that’s adorable, you really think double of this sorry display would have made any difference?" I scoffed tauntingly with an amused smirk.

"How dare you...!"

"I suppose I cannot deny that you are indeed powerful, significantly more powerful than we are...however, do not think that your victory is assured. We are aware of everything that you are capable of, while you have no idea what we can do," Pointed out Leviathan.

Well, I’ll give him props for being able to maintain his attitude even in this situation, if nothing else.

"Your friend over there just explained how, what I’m assuming his trump card, works," I countered with a raised eyebrow.

"...okay, let me rephrase what I said," He sighed, adding after giving Genghis an exasperated side glance, "You have no idea what I can do."

"Yeah, true. But I highly doubt it’s gonna make any difference...," I responded with a smirk.
