Chapter 763 - I’m Unbeatable

As the fused Divine Weapons detonated one after another, the surrounding area was completely devastated. Within a ten-kilometre radius, every building and plant was wiped out, as though a volcano had erupted. Even the mummies, despite their regeneration, were burnt to ash in the chain of explosions without being able to recover.

High above, Qin Shuang and the others watched in stunned silence. They had always known Han Wu was strong, but the strength he had just displayed surpassed all expectations, perhaps by hundreds or thousands of times. The sheer firepower could kill a Heavenrender life form.

Han Wu was equally surprised. Did it really produce that level of destruction?

It was almost hard to believe. Still, Divine Weapon Fusion sent the fused weapons into the reformation phase. Thankfully, he had only fused a single Small Locust Blade. Even if it was now reforming, it meant little. He had an enormous stockpile of them.

The Explosive Locust Blade was a different matter. Thanks to its rapid reformation effect, it was ready again in just one second. In other words, as long as he wished, he could unleash Divine Weapon Fusion repeatedly.

I’m unbeatable.

Just as the excitement was building up in his heart, a wave of pressure burst from the rolling black smoke. Feng Wuji charged out with the Taiqing Sword in hand. He was in terrible condition. His clothes were shredded, and his body was covered in severe burns, yet he had survived.

Han Wu almost called it a miracle.

Feng Wuji noticed the disbelief on Han Wu’s face and chuckled, convinced that victory was now his.

“You can only use an attack that powerful once. Your time is up. Now die,” he said and swung the Taiqing Sword, sending a barrage of sword auras straight at Han Wu.

Thanks to the Abyss Armor, none of them did anything. They didn’t even feel like a light tap.

Han Wu walked straight through the incoming sword auras and summoned another Small Locust Blade and his Explosive Locust Blade. “I’ve got some bad news for you. An attack at that level? I can use it as many times as I want.”

At that, he activated Divine Weapon Fusion again. The fused blade formed, shot toward Feng Wuji under his control, and split into 147 copies mid-flight.

Feng Wuji turned and ran. His survival in the last explosion had only been possible because he had combined the protection of the Golden Wheels of Sun and Moon. Now that the wheels had been completely destroyed and would require a long time to reform, he had no confidence that he could survive another round.

Unfortunately, he had no chance of outrunning the fused blades. After a chain of explosions, Feng Wuji’s aura vanished.

Han Wu summoned Ah Er’s soul and had him fan the smoke away. On the ground lay Feng Wuji’s Divine Weapons, including the Golden Wheels of Sun and Moon’s fragments. The Taiqing Sword’s durability had been reduced to a tenth. The other Divine Weapons had all sustained damage, but none had shattered completely.

“Another big haul.” Han Wu gathered them with great satisfaction.

Master Ou spotted the Golden Wheels of Sun and Moon’s fragments and immediately felt his hands itch. The wheels were shattered, and only two methods could restore them. One was to wait for them to reform within their original owner’s body, which was clearly no longer possible. The other was to have a skilled blacksmith repair them.

Han Wu had originally planned to use the fragments as upgrade material for his Divine Weapons, hoping they would awaken new skills or effects. However, Master Ou approached him and offered to repair them. Han Wu happily agreed and handed over the fragments, along with the Taiqing Sword for Master Ou to use.

The remaining Divine Weapons were divided among Han Wu, Qin Shuang, and Jin Tuantuan. Anything they didn’t need was set aside as upgrade material.

After rescuing Jin Tuantuan, Han Wu remembered what he had promised Master Ou. He had agreed to help him take revenge, and he intended to follow through. He summoned Ah Mao again and used the compass. Baili Changhe’s direction appeared clearly.

Han Wu and Master Ou rode his Vermilion Bird, while Qin Shuang and Jin Tuantuan rode the Vermilion Bird residing within Qin Shuang’s Fulther Blades. They moved quickly and soon arrived at a massive building, where the compass confirmed that Baili Changhe was inside.

Han Wu landed in front of it and noticed the structure closely resembled the Vermilion Bird Palace they had found earlier. Through the faded murals on its walls, he could make out the shape of a fierce tiger. That image reminded him of the tiger-shaped pendant he had obtained.

He took out the pendant and noticed a small indentation on the main gate. He pressed the pendant into it, and it fit perfectly. The indentation began to rotate on its own, and with a series of creaks, the ancient gate opened.

At that moment, the Will of the Divine Weapon Civilization spoke.

Han Wu’s group rushed inside and found two people in the main hall. One was Baili Changhe, and the other was Hei Qi. The latter sat motionless on a meditation cushion. He appeared to be in the middle of the trial. Baili Changhe stood beside him, his eyes blank and vacant.

The moment Han Wu’s group entered, his face twisted into something vicious. He snarled, “You will not interrupt my lord’s trial!”

A massive tower shield appeared before him and expanded into a wall of shields, sealing him and Hei Qi behind it.

Han Wu said nothing and summoned the Heavenly Demon Spike. Under his control, it drove straight into the shield wall while using Spiral Pierce. Sparks flew where it struck. No defence could withstand the Heavenly Demon Spike once it started breaking through, and the shield wall quickly crumbled.

Baili Changhe was exposed, but Hei Qi, who had been seated on the cushion, had already vanished.

“Where is Hei Qi? Where did he go?” Han Wu growled.

Baili Changhe laughed like a possessed man. “You will never find my lord before he obtains the legendary Armament Spirit!”

“Then I’ll settle for you first. You’re one of our targets too,” Han Wu said.

Baili Changhe showed no fear. He summoned his tower shield, and a huge eye opened on its surface. It stared at Han Wu and filled him with deep unease.

A soft, insidious whisper worked its way into Han Wu’s mind. “Submit to me. Bow before me. I will grant you endless power—”

The voice didn’t finish. Two Divine Weapons rose from Han Wu on their own. The Locust Soul Orb manifested as the Calamitous Ghost Tiger and stood guard before him. The Locust Dragon Seal appeared above his head and released a thunderous roar, extinguishing every trace of the mental corruption.

Han Wu’s mind snapped back, and he stared at the eye on the shield. “A mere evil god dares to corrupt my mind. Time to die.”

The Locust Dragon Seal released another roar, and the sound wave slammed into the tower shield with tremendous force.
