Chapter 376: The kick That Changed Champion

As the deadly battle between the two individuals resumed, the world seemed to enter a cataclysmic phase.

Mountains split as if struck by a giant sword, lakes evaporated as if a miniature sun had fallen into them, and trees were uprooted as if the earth could no longer hold them.

The twelve shadow soldiers summoned by Moku had long been obliterated and could no longer be resurrected.

Every time Moku summoned a shadow soldier, the amount of dragon prana he had to use would increase exponentially.

Moreover, Brajadenta and Brajamusti also used much more dragon prana than usual. If Basic Mantra alone consumed this much dragon prana, one could only imagine the usage of other advanced Mantras.

As a result, Moku was forced to rely solely on the Dawnshadow Blade in his hands.

Although Moku could not be considered as skilled as Boku in the Mana Weapon Path, he was still an asura’s progenitor, so it was impossible for him to be as weak as Artur if he couldn’t use his Mantra.

Nevertheless, the battle against Foras was the fiercest he had ever faced in his monster life.

*BOOM!

Foras’s punch, for who knows how many times, shattered the nearby mountain.

*SLASH!

Moku countered with a slash from his Dawnshadow, once again cutting down entire trees within tens of kilometers.

If this battle were not confined by their domain, the environmental damage they both caused would surely be much greater.

Sometimes Moku wondered if the creation of domains was not to enhance mage control over Mana but to prevent the world from being ravaged by mages fighting each other.

Foras easily avoided Moku’s slash, closing the distance with incredible speed, almost teleporting. It was truly astonishing to see a three-meter creature like Foras move so agilely.

They met again in the middle and exchanged blows.

Although Foras fought bare-handed, each of his strikes carried the essence of doom.

So, even a slight scratch would quickly spread throughout the body.

However, this could be prevented by channeling dragon prana into the wound.

The characteristic of dragon prana, which could absorb any energy, made the essence of doom unable to cause any damage.

However, the Palm of Wrath multiplied all the energy usage Moku used, including channeling dragon prana into wounds, several times over. Thus, Moku could now only rely on his natural body regeneration to heal wounds.

Fortunately, he was much stronger now than before when he fought Raiden; otherwise, his life would have been in jeopardy by now.

However, if nothing changed, Foras would gradually weaken him until Moku no longer had a drop of dragon prana in his body.

Moku leaped to avoid Foras’s axe kick.

*BOOM!

The ground where he stood moments before crumbled into dust, creating a gaping hole that caused water stored in the soil to gush out.

*BOOM! *BOOM! *BOOM! *BOOM! *BOOM! *BOOM!

A local rain formed, only to evaporate into dew as Moku shot Brajadenta’s rain towards Foras.

Instantly, hundreds of kilometers around them were filled with blinding white mist, obscuring those within it.

However, unfortunately, Foras and Moku didn’t fight with just their eyes. Individuals as powerful as them possessed sensory abilities beyond the five senses—Inner Eye for Moku and Essence of Doom for Foras.

Though it sounded like a destructive force, in reality, the Essence of Doom was the flip side of the Essence of Prosperity.

Foras was indeed a deadly enemy; he was so ingenious that he could harness rage from wrath and turn it into doom.

Foras’s Essence of Doom was no longer just categorized as the power of sin; it had entered the realm of fate control.

Thus, everything in the world would be affected by Foras’s power, including both inanimate and living beings.

Hence, as the battle prolonged, Moku’s sense of dread worsened, as if there was a death scythe hanging over his neck.

Currently, Moku had no means to counter Foras’s power.

His only hope lay in the mysterious power of the Mind Realm. However, despite having Pandava for years, his mastery over the power of the Mind Realm was minimal.

Garuda described Moku’s current power as equivalent to two feathers of his wings. It was truly disheartening, but considering Garuda’s power akin to the real God, Moku didn’t feel belittled by the comparison.

However, to win, or even survive, this battle, Moku needed to level up. At least to stand a chance against Foras, he needed power equivalent to three feathers of Garuda’s wings.

Thus, Moku divided his mind into two—one for fighting and the other connected to Pandava to learn the power of the Mind Realm.

As a result, the wounds Moku endured continued to accumulate and worsen. He was now akin to a punching bag for Foras.

Foras charged swiftly, cutting through the misty fog and cleaving through the air pressure he brought with him.

Moku crossed his arms to protect his chest, but Foras’s fist struck hard.

*BOOM!

Moku’s body flew, smashing through anything in its path until it crashed into the side of a massive mountain, becoming stuck there.

Before Moku could extricate himself from the cliff where he was stuck, a dense black energy laser shot towards him at incredible speed.

Moku could only click his tongue and use Padakacarma: Shadow Form.

*BOOM!!!!

The mountain he was previously stuck in disintegrated, but Moku emerged from the shadow of a tree a few hundred meters away.

He immediately used his new spell, Vivid Dream: Moon Blade.

The delicate curve of a crescent moon appearing behind Moku. Its silhouetted form exuded an irresistible pull, seemingly absorbing the radiant illumination from Moku’s luminous presence.

This was Moku’s strongest defensive Mantra; he was confident that Moon Blade could withstand Foras’s direct onslaught.

However, his supply of dragon prana within his body was rapidly depleting.

Continuously using the fastest escape and strongest defense Mantras under the influence of Palm of Wrath was draining his dragon prana reserves.

Unfortunately, Moku didn’t have any mutated animal flesh on hand to replenish his dragon prana.

"Wait a moment!"

Moku willed it, and suddenly a large red hand appeared in front of him.

Without hesitation, Moku began devouring the red hand voraciously. Just then, Foras reappeared near him, glaring at Moku with narrowed eyes.

"Mana Demon’s hand... Where did you get it from?" Foras asked.

"Oh, do you really want to know?" Moku replied.

Foras simply shook his head before launching another attack. "Nope, I don’t care!"

Moku brandished Dawnshadow Blade and launched a rapid flurry of stabs.

Foras agilely weaved through the rain of stabs before delivering a lightning-fast uppercut towards Moku.

If that punch connected with Moku’s chin, his head would surely burst like a balloon. However, before Foras’s fist could reach Moku, Moon Blade intervened.

*BOOM!

The air around them shattered, and space seemed to split apart. The dark sky above them split in two.

Seizing the opportunity, Moku unleashed a fury of slashes towards Foras.

However, he only managed to inflict the initial wound before Foras quickly retreated to avoid further slashes.

The ground around them was torn apart, and hundreds of meters away, trees crumbled into dust.

Moku advanced, seizing the opportunity from Foras’s retreat.

However, Foras skitted across the ground as if standing on ice, delivering a barrage of punches through the air.

It was as if a giant hand was condensing the air around Foras into black masses, hurtling towards Moku at incredible speed.

Moku tried to evade and slash through some of the air masses, but it slowed his momentum. Foras then regained his balance and launched another attack.

Once again, they exchanged blows, and the world cried out in anguish at the destruction they wrought.

Foras delivered a lightning-fast jab, but Moku read Foras’s movements with his Inner Eye, tilting his head to the side and using both hands to block Foras’s punch.

However, before his Inner Eye could react, Foras’s leg suddenly appeared near his head.

’Shit! Is this what Silva felt when Leon’s leg suddenly appeared?’ Moku thought.

*BOOOMMM!!!!

The powerful kick struck Moon Blade, which protected Moku’s head. However, the force of the kick was so intense that Moku’s entire body trembled before being sent flying.

"UGH!!!"

The ringing in his ears was deafening, as if a bomb had exploded inside them. Blood began to flow from his nose and mouth.

For a fleeting moment, Moku experienced a concussion, but it was enough time for Foras to reappear above him and deliver a devastating axe kick.

Moon Blade once again managed to intercept Foras’s attack, but as a result, Moku’s body slid rapidly to the ground.

*BOOM!!!

It was like a kinetic bomb being dropped onto the earth; Moku’s body crashed into the ground with tremendous force.

If Moon Blade hadn’t absorbed the full impact, his body would have surely been pulverized into dust.

Nevertheless, a large hole with a diameter of tens of kilometers formed where Moku fell.

Magma flowed out from within it, sending hot steam billowing into the air, altering the atmosphere and causing rain to fall to cool the overheated earth.

"Fuck!"

Only Moku’s curse could be heard amidst the cries of the earth.
