The Record of Orc Civilization
Chapter 385: The New Wilwatikta
Nevare departed for Bitter Maja ahead of her group. She didn’t want to waste time herding the slaves, a task that could easily be done by other Valkyries.
The frontline battle between the human alliance and demons was reaching its peak, making it rare to encounter mages roaming the Bog Forest.
Thus, Nevare had no worries about being ambushed by mages on their journey. If any ordinary soldiers found them, the Valkyries were more than capable of silencing them forever.
With her speed, Nevare reached Bitter Maja in just a few hours.
She avoided the West Fortress route to steer clear of Robert or Artur. Her mind was filled with thoughts of what she would say at the meeting later.
Within minutes of arriving at Bitter Maja, Nevare’s eyes beheld the expanding Wilwatikta Kingdom.
Various new buildings began to fill half of Bitter Maja. Magnificent, sturdy, and unrivaled walls were erected using rare materials such as organs from Mutated Creatures, strong stones, and rare woods, surrounding each building magnificently.
From above, Nevare could see the beauty of the five districts of Wilwatikta Kingdom.
However, it won’t be as beautiful as what lies beneath the surface.
Despite rapid advancements in construction technology since the early days of building in Bitter Maja, the kingdom’s inhabitants still paid attention to harmony with nature.
Perhaps their habit of hiding underground contributed to the kingdom’s strong construction culture, which favored expanding underground areas rather than building tall structures like the Magic Tower favored by mages.
The five districts continued to expand along with the rapid increase in population every year.
The bustling and colorful markets became the heart of economic activity, filled with various goods that were no longer just the meat of Mana Species or Mutated Animals.
Meanwhile, the magnificent academy became a place where knowledge and wisdom flourished, marked by the grand symbol of The One alongside passing priests and priestesses.
The residential district was no longer just filled with Orc’s Burrow but with new buildings that Moku called apartments.
Each building could accommodate hundreds or even thousands of families, making the residential district the busiest place.
Finally, the towering palace underground was a symbol of the kingdom’s power and grandeur.
The number of monsters living in the kingdom had reached hundreds of millions, nearing a billion.
Sixty percent of its population were asuras and orcs, a figure that continued to rise as the numbers of other monster races dwindled.
Perhaps next year, or even in a few months, the percentage of asuras would reach seventy percent, considering the casualties among the druids and hobgoblins in the war against demons.
Nevare arrived at the northern gate and greeted two asuras on guard duty. Boredom was evident on their faces as they couldn’t join the war against demons.
However, their expressions turned respectful upon seeing Nevare’s arrival.
Moku had only brought the Second Evolution Gate Asura to fight against demons. He decided to minimize the number of asura casualties.
As for the First Evolution Gate Asura, Moku ordered them to clean up the Bog Forest from the remaining Mutated Animals and to disguise themselves as arion species in the West Fortress.
Of course, this decision was protested by the First Evolution Gate Asura, but they had no voice in this kingdom.
Wilwatikta Kingdom adhered to an authoritarian governance system where the strong ruled. So, to other asuras, the First Evolution Gate Asura seemed no different from the unevolved orcs.
Nevare simply nodded in response to the respectful greetings from the two First Evolution Gate Asura before continuing her journey towards the palace.
Actually, Nevare could have flown directly to the palace without entering the northern gate, but she didn’t want to set a bad example for the other Valkyries.
If Moku, Goku, and Boku chose to walk through the northern gate instead of flying over it, then the Valkyries should do the same.
She didn’t want any Valkyrie to think they were in a higher position than the asuras.
Despite their evolution, asuras still retained their orcish nature. It seemed to be encoded in their DNA for asuras to spoil their women.
Nevare had encountered more than one case where Valkyries’ selfishness led to their husbands acting out of line.
One such incident occurred a few months ago when two First Evolution Gate Asura dueled fiercely because their wives were fighting over meat at the market.
Fortunately, the fight didn’t cause serious damage to the market, and only the two asura were injured.
From this incident, Nevare could see the strong influence of Valkyries on the asura.
Perhaps only Moku was different from the other asura because he prioritized his own desires over the desires of his wives. However, for the other asura, they preferred to obey their wives’ words rather than their own logic.
The asura race was a prime example of men who thought with their dicks.
Nevare and the other three Main Queens could see the significant danger hidden in the tendency of these asura to spoil their wives.
Therefore, they together formed a committee tasked with resolving all issues caused by or related to Valkyries.
Nevare felt fortunate to quickly realize this danger before any more serious incidents occurred. For the asura, dying in battle was just as important as dying to defend their wives.
It was regrettable how much Moku loved his wives, leading other asura to mimic him. However, they didn’t know how selfish their king was, sometimes appearing like a child seeking attention.
Only Moku’s closest people, like Ez, knew about his hidden nature. Unfortunately, Ez had suffered too much to dare reveal any secrets about Moku.
As a Valkyrie herself, Nevare knew how selfish Valkyries could be.
After transforming, not only did their sexual desires increase, but other emotions sometimes became uncontrollable.
For example, when she was still human, Nevare never cared about the beautiful dresses worn by nobles. However, after becoming a Valkyrie, Nevare could see how beautiful those dresses were, leading her to collect several.
If she had changed like this, then how about other Valkyries?
Nevare arrived at the palace, where two guards stood at the entrance helping her to open the door, which was more appropriately called a gate due to its size.
The palace gate soared five meters high, with its two doors made of wood that only grew in the Mind Realm, adorned with carvings of symbols Nevare didn’t understand.
Moku had mentioned that the symbols on the door mimicked the carvings on the Evolution Gate. Nevare had never evolved like the asura, so she had never been to the Mind Realm or met the Evolution Gate.
She actually longed to meet Mak Lampir or Garuda; seeing two legendary creatures capable of turning the world upside down with their breath would be an intriguing experience.
Entering the vast palace, Nevare descended the stairs to the underground floor.
Like other buildings in Wilwatikta, the palace was built deeper into the ground, with only one floor visible on the surface.
She heard footsteps approaching and immediately knew who it was.
It was her close friend and greatest rival, Nezena.
Nezena, with a bulging belly from her two-month pregnancy, walked toward Nevare followed by five elf Valkyries.
Nevare didn’t know all the elf Valkyries following Nezena, but she had seen one of them before.
The elf Valkyrie was Hana, and the reason Nevare remembered her face was undoubtedly due to the incident where Hana licked Nezena’s face.
"Nezena, are you here to welcome me? Oh, I’m so flattered," Nevare greeted with a mocking tone, glancing toward Hana.
The elf Valkyrie could only lower her head with a flushed face.
"I came to meet you, not to welcome you. Why are you so arrogant? I’m here to ask why you called for a grand meeting. Don’t you know how busy we all are?" Nezena replied in a condescending tone without looking at Hana, whose face grew even redder.
Nevare frowned, "Didn’t Moku inform you?"
Nezena shook her head, "I only received a Pandava signal, an intent from Moku, to gather two days from now for the grand meeting you requested."
Nevare clicked his tongue, "Our husband is too fond of idleness. I want to discuss plans to eradicate the human species from the face of the earth!"
Nezena narrowed her eyes, "What do you mean? Didn’t we all agree that the first Mana Species to be eradicated would be the elves? You yourself agreed to that plan. I know you’re hypocritical, but I never knew you were also indecisive."
"I’m neither hypocritical nor indecisive. I’m just blind to see how disgusting humans are! I don’t have time to argue with you; I have to prepare a proposal to convince all department heads to eradicate the human species as soon as possible."
After saying that, Nevare no longer looked at Nezena and walked past her without caring about the darkening expression on her friend’s face.
"Nevare! You know I’ll never approve of your proposal, don’t you? You should be satisfied with the female slaves you acquired from raiding the slave traders’ strongholds! Why are you so selfish as to also take the species eradication plan from my hands?"
Nezena’s anger was palpable as she shouted.
The elf Valkyries around her trembled at the sound of Nezena’s furious voice.
They had never seen Nezena this enraged before, which made them fearful that the two Main Queens would engage in a fight right there.
However, Nevare ignored Nezena and continued walking toward her chamber. She didn’t have time to address Nezena’s concerns. She had already made up her mind to eradicate her former species.
