The Rich Cultivator
Chapter 575. New Worlds
A sail-shaped building stood on an artificial island, its steel exoskeleton wrapped around a concrete core. Inside that massive structure, in the center of a glittering party hall, a woman in a red dress stood drenched in wine.
Across from her, a man held another woman protectively in his arms while glaring at the red-dressed woman.
"How many times do I have to tell you? I hate you. I only like the girl who saved me from the river when I was a kid," the man shouted.
The woman in his arms froze for a second.
"She is that girl. Fate brought us together again," the man said and hugged the woman he was holding.
The woman in his arms smiled shyly at him but secretly cast a sly, triumphant look toward the woman in red.
The woman in Red was the true childhood sweetheart, but her roommate had stolen her belongings and used them to stage this entire drama.
The woman in red did not say a single word.
"Why are you not speaking? After your parents died, all you had left were those paramedicals Lab your parents left with me as debt, right? Is that why you got close to me? Fine, I will give them to you. I planned to anyway. Take them and never appear in front of me again," the handsome man shouted.
Their classmates laughed, pointing at the red-dressed woman.
’Great. Just get out of here. From now on, the only son of a billionaire and the future CEO of Dubai Medical Organisation is mine.’ The woman in his arms was laughing inwardly.
Meanwhile, the red-haired girl thought to herself:
’Where am I? Has the Trial already started? I cannot feel any Aura, Prana, or any kind of energy in the air. Am I mortal? Why am I drenched in wine? And why do these mortal women all look so gorgeous?’
She blinked slowly. ’Well, looks like this girl just got dumped by her crush. Did she die from the shock and I took her place? Or is her soul sleeping inside me? Whatever. I am this girl now, and this girl is me.’
Mathilda yawned lazily, then lifted her head with graceful confidence. Everyone in the room stopped talking. Even the smallest movements she made seemed to capture all attention. She looked straight at the man and the woman in his arms.
"A river can flow thirty years east, thirty years west," Mathilda said calmly.
Everyone stared, confused.
"Did she lose her mind?" the girl in his arms whispered.
"It means someone who is looked down upon today can become successful later," Mathilda continued. "Do not worry. I will never disturb you again. But my love for you was always real."
"Wow... did she just confess to him?"
"She never expressed her feelings before, right?"
The crowd murmured in surprise.
The man felt his heart skip a beat. For a moment, the woman before him resembled the girl from his childhood memories.
The girl in his arms panicked. "N-No. He belongs to me now. How dare you try to seduce someone else’s boyfriend?"
"Huh? What are you talking about? I was speaking to you, darling," Mathilda replied with a wink.
"Darling?" the girl repeated, stunned.
"Yes, darling. I always loved you."
The girl froze. This time, her heart suddenly skipping a beat.
Mathilda turned and walked away confidently. The man stood dumbfounded, and the crowd gasped in disbelief.
Once she stepped out of the hall, Mathilda whispered, "Gacha."
Night fell. The party ended. The man and his girlfriend were still thinking about Mathilda’s sudden change as they sat inside their parked Lamborghini.
They kissed, but both of them were distracted, thinking about her. They accidentally bit each other’s lips.
"Ouch!"
They laughed awkwardly.
"It’s cold. Can you turn off the AC?" the girl asked.
"I never turned it on," he replied.
Both of them froze.
They looked around.
They were sitting on the ground.
Lost in thought, they had not noticed what happened at all.
The Lamborghini was gone.
Meanwhile, Mathilda walked away laughing. She held up the Copper Ladle. Inside it was a tiny Lamborghini.
"Well, let’s assume this is just the beginning of revenge," she muttered. "So paramedicals, huh? Medicines."
Mathilda laughed, imagining possibilities.
"If this were a novel, the title would be Rebirth of the Godly Female Alchemist."
A laugh echoed beside her. A girl phased through the wall and appeared.
"What? You also didn’t get a Pocket Dimension Pearl? Mana?" Mathilda sighed.
"But my phasing powers are useful too. This world has no magic or aura. Everyone here is a normal mortal with primitive technology," Mana replied.
Yes, Mana selected Phasing, Body Possession and Pocket Dimension Pearl as Gacha options. She got phasing powers.
"Then this will be easy. I will use my knowledge to create otherworldly medicines and become rich. After that, I will drag lots of girls into my harem." Mathilda laughed like a hooligan and grabbed Mana’s Breast "You look hot in this new body too. What is our relationship here?"
Mana’s mouth twitched. "Sisters."
Mathilda removed her hand.
"Step-sisters," Mana added.
Mathilda immediately put her hand back.
---
Darla, Astrid, Mathilda, Mana, and many other crew members had already been transported into their Trials. Only Tuman, Taka, and GG remained beside Tyler.
Soon, Tuman and Taka were each enclosed by their own cubes. As usual, a projection appeared.
---
In a barren wasteland, Tuman stood wearing a sleek futuristic suit, one arm replaced with a polished silver cyborg limb.
He looked around in utter confusion.
Before him towered a giant mechanical spider, cannons grown out of its metal plates like tumors.
"What the fu—"
The spider’s cannon lit up.
A beam shot out.
Tuman was blown to pieces instantly.
---
"Unlucky..." Tyler muttered.
GG shivered violently.
---
Next was Taka.
Deep beneath the metallic earth of that world, Taka, now in the body of a cat-sized mechanical octopus, crawled slowly through a dim corridor. His metallic tentacles clicked with each movement. A muzzle-like device sat strapped above his head.
He panicked, closed his eyes, and shivered, even though he was technically an android robot now.
"Mia? What’s this thing? Is it... scared?" a young man in a sleek black suit asked. He held a futuristic gun pointed directly at Taka.
"Don’t shoot, Leo. Let me analyze it," a voice replied through his mind. "It might be some type of valuable Alt-Ware."
Suddenly, a small mechanical spider dropped from the ceiling, tiny cannons charging.
Leo didn’t even turn his head. He simply lifted another gun and shot it mid-air, vaporizing it.
Taka nearly fainted from fear.
"This thing is Cute..." Leo chuckled.
---
Then came GG.
In the middle of a bright, enchanted forest near a Goblin Nest, several beautiful female elves walked gracefully between the trees. Flowers bloomed wherever their feet touched.
GG opened her eyes and realized she was now inhabiting the body of one of those elves.
"Huh? Where am I?" she whispered, looking around in panic.
Before she could process anything, numerous small goblins, who shockingly looked more like humans, burst out of the bushes. They were completely naked, armed with sticks and stones.
The elves froze.
And then all of their faces turned into Ahegao expressions.
The goblins, terrified, screamed and fled in every direction.
"It’s virgin goblins! Shota Goblins! Our first sex hunt is a success! Capture them and have fun! We are gonna ride every until we get pregnant" the elves shouted like beasts in heat as they chased after the panicking males.
GG stood frozen, horrified and confused at the insane scene unfolding before her. She turned around and left. Decided not to join these lustful elves.
---
"What kind of world is that?" Tyler muttered, stunned.
"That is a world where female species completely dominate male species," Decateron replied calmly. "Being born male there is considered a curse."
"Well? Curse?" Tyler rubbed his temples. "Are these worlds even real?"
"They may or may not exist as stable worlds," Decateron explained. "Some might be fragments of alternative timelines. We use our power to project all of you into random worlds where our broken fragments are scattered. In order to repair ourselves, we designed a solution that requires strict rules and would normally take a billion years. But since you are here, Tyler White, a chaos treasure holder, we can use loopholes. With your help, only five Trials are needed."
"Fine, fine... that was the plan anyway," Tyler muttered. "Also..."
"Yes, I understand," Decateron replied. "Even if your companions fail, I will retrieve them and keep them safe until your Trial is complete. It is part of the contract."
One by one, everyone had already disappeared into their Trials.
Now only Tyler and Serena remained.
"All right," Tyler said, exhaling. "Send me and Serena into our Trial."
And so, at last, it became Tyler’s turn.
