Raito's gaze swept the scene once.

Not a flinch. Not a twitch.

Then he stepped back, turned, and entered the waiting police car.

Calm as ever. In complete control.

The car drove off, leaving chaos, fear, and awe in its wake.

Even the strongest hunters—helpless, defeated—remained on the ground behind him.

The cameras never stopped.

Reporters, newscasters, drones, all recording every single step. Every angle captured. Every movement broadcast live.

"As you can see," the news anchor said, voice trembling, "he is being detained and will be locked in one of the strongest, most secure dungeons ever constructed—because he defeated nearly all of the strongest hunters at once. A man now officially classified as a national threat… someone who could, theoretically, destroy this world."

Ayane's voice cracked as she spoke into the camera, confusion and fear lacing every word. "What… what is happening? Brother? Why won't you answer?"

The feed shifted, showing civilians and analysts trying to comprehend what had just happened. "He was arrested because… no one knows exactly what happened. He simply appeared, defeated the hunters, and ascended to a power none of us have ever seen. I—"

Ayane's voice shook. "He's… he's actually gotten stronger… just as he said he would."

Meanwhile, Igo, still on vacation, hurried back toward Tokyo, her hands clutching her phone. "What the hell is going on? I've been trying to call him, but he isn't picking up!"

Back in the convoy, Raito sat calmly in the police car. Handcuffs clicked around his wrists, though they were merely ornamental. He didn't resist. He never resisted. Not once.

Two hours passed.

The convoy moved with deliberate caution.

Through a tunnel. A deep, dark, reinforced steel-and-iron artery, carved to lead to one of the most secure facilities on Earth.

Four SUVs led. Four trailed. Military precision. No room for error.

Finally, they arrived at the destination: an enormous structure. Massive, unyielding, forged from pure iron. Solid walls that could withstand earthquakes, explosions, and direct attacks from even the strongest hunters.

"Please… calm down," one officer instructed, trying to keep his voice steady.

Raito stepped out of the car, silent, casual.

Jiro followed. Also cuffed. Also silent.

They approached the colossal iron door.

Handcuffs removed.

"Enter," the officer ordered.

Raito complied without hesitation.

Inside, the air hummed with mechanical power. A device awaited him—cold, metallic, alive with energy.

"Place your hand here," they said.

He did.

Pain shot through his arm, sharp but shallow. Enough to draw out mana, to "awaken" the system's suppressive measures.

The device hummed, bright lights flaring along its surface.

It was meant to neutralize hunters—force their mana into submission, prevent escape.

It failed.

Immediately, the machinery began to overload. Sparks danced. Screens flickered.

"It's… it's reacting!" one technician shouted, panic rising. "The mana levels… it's too much! The system can't handle this! If we don't remove him immediately, it could explode!"

Raito leaned back slightly, smirk on his lips, bored.

"This… is nothing," he muttered under his breath. "If I wanted to leave, I could do it anytime."

The officers scrambled. Hands shaking, they yanked his arm free from the device.

One of them whispered, voice trembling. "Wh-what are you…?"

Raito tilted his head, smirk widening. No answer. No reaction beyond amusement.

The massive iron doors slammed shut behind him. BOOM.

He moved to the iron chair in the chamber.

With slow, deliberate precision, he removed the device from his head, tossing it aside. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Nothing hurt. Nothing restrained.

Nothing mattered.

He leaned back, relaxed, letting his aura spread faintly across the room. Green, gold, untouchable.

The system was useless. The hunters were powerless. The strongest human-made suppression failed entirely.

And Raito… remained calm.

The operators exchanged terrified glances.

The chamber was silent.

All that remained was the faint hum of machinery and the man who had already broken every limit they tried to impose.

Raito sat back. Eyes half-lidded. Aura flickering softly. Untouchable. Indestructible.

Damn it…

All my plans are spoiled.

Everything.

After months of keeping a low profile… after months of making sure the news didn't notice me… making sure the world cameras didn't catch me…

They finally know.

They finally know how strong I am.

Raito sat inside the iron chamber, his back resting against the cold metal seat, his eyes half-lidded—yet sharp.

His expression wasn't fear.

It was irritation.

Pure irritation.

"Damn it…" he muttered again, clenching his fist.

"And now look at where I ended up…"

Locked up.

Like some kind of criminal.

Like some kind of monster.

His gaze slowly lifted toward the ceiling, scanning the thick iron walls.

"What do they even plan to do with me here?"

He let out a low breath.

His aura didn't explode.

But it leaked.

A pressure so unnatural that the air itself felt heavy.

"This facility can't kill me," he thought. "Even if they wanted to."

His lips curled into a faint smirk.

"I won't die for no reason."

But the smirk faded instantly.

Because this wasn't about whether they could kill him.

It was about the fact that he was even here.

"Just one mistake…"

His eyes darkened.

"If I had known…"

His jaw tightened.

"…I would have never attacked him."

His mind flashed back to it.

The live stream.

The dungeon.

The streaming bots hovering around, broadcasting every single second of his battle.

He could still see it clearly.

The way he moved.

The way the hunter flew.

The way the crowd watching online exploded.

Fourteen thousand people.

Watching.

Recording.

Sharing.

Uploading.

His fist clenched tighter.

"I shouldn't have let those fourteen thousand people see how strong I am."

Silence filled the chamber.

Then his voice dropped lower.

"But then they captured Kira…"

His eyes narrowed.

"…and that made me lose my temper."

A vein pulsed slightly on his forehead.

His breathing sharpened.

"Damn it."

He suddenly stood up.

The sound of his boots hitting the iron floor echoed like thunder.

He looked around.

Three CCTV cameras.

All aimed directly at him.

Watching.

Tracking.

Monitoring his every movement like he was a bomb waiting to explode.
