Raito stood still, eyes fixed on the cameras watching him.

"Like I said someone should calm down and explain everything to me," he said, his voice steady but heavy with warning. "Be sincere."

Silence.

"What's your plan? And I hope Jiro and Kira are fine."

His gaze sharpened.

"I'll say this again if no one comes down here and explains what's going on"

A faint crack formed beneath his feet.

"I will tear this place apart."

The air trembled.

"Do you really think this place can hold me?"

In the control room

"Damn it he's not bluffing," one of the security guards muttered, sweat dripping down his face.

A man in a scientist's coat adjusted his glasses. His name was Iata.

"Well you're right," Iata said calmly. "We couldn't even drain his mana. He was still able to use his abilities."

He paused.

"I'm not even sure it was mana at that point his brute strength alone destroyed the machine."

The room went silent.

"The amount of energy the system absorbed no human should have been able to withstand it. Yet he did."

Iata exhaled slowly.

"This man is fully capable of destroying this entire facility."

He turned to one of the guards.

"You. Go down there and explain everything to him. Not every detail but enough to stop him from doing something reckless."

His voice lowered.

"This facility took fifteen years to build. Refinement labs, imprisonment sectors, experimental chambers if it's destroyed everything is gone."

The guard swallowed hard.

"Yes, sir."

Deep underground

The guard approached a massive reinforced iron door, thick and nearly indestructible.

On the other side

Raito.

"Hey," the guard called out nervously. "What do you want to know?"

Raito's voice came through, calm but dangerous.

"You're not going to open it?"

"No I think it's better this way. Just ask your questions."

A pause.

Raito frowned.

Then

He raised his fist.

BOOM!!!

The door didn't just break

It was launched.

It flew backward, smashing through the walls behind it

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The sound echoed endlessly through the underground structure as the massive metal slab kept tearing through layer after layer.

The guard dropped to his knees, trembling.

If he hadn't moved instantly he would've died.

Raito stepped forward.

"Come here."

The guard froze.

"This is your only chance."

Sweat poured down his face as he stood and slowly walked in.

"Yes yes, sir"

Raito sat down, crossing one leg over the other.

"Talk."

"Tell me everything. What are your plans for me and for Jiro and Kira?"

His eyes darkened.

"If you lie"

A faint pressure filled the room.

"I'll take your head as compensation and then destroy this place."

"Yes, sir!" the guard stammered.

"For now Kira is being treated. She won't be harmed."

Raito's expression didn't change.

"And Jiro?"

"He's still being held in a smaller prison above."

Raito leaned back slightly.

"And me?"

The guard hesitated.

"There isn't a final decision yet"

"For what?" Raito asked sharply.

"We heard someone important is coming to meet you personally. Masan Nibori."

Raito's eyes narrowed slightly.

"He ordered that we don't harm you not even a scratch."

The guard bowed deeply.

"That's all I know."

Raito smirked.

"Oh so he's coming himself."

He waved his hand casually.

"You can leave."

"Yes yes, sir!"

The guard turned and ran without looking back.

Raito leaned back in the chair, exhaling slowly.

"I hope nothing happened to them"

His gaze drifted.

"All my plans everything I've been working on for weeks"

He clenched his fist slightly.

"gone."

"I kept training. Pushing myself. Getting stronger"

A faint smile appeared but it wasn't a happy one.

"And now I've become too strong."

His mind flashed back.

"The dragon that thing was powerful. Insanely powerful."

He paused.

"But what it said"

"Vampires."

His expression darkened.

"There are vampires stronger than that thing?"

He let out a quiet breath.

"Who am I even surpassing at this point?"

Silence filled the room.

"If that's true then the real threat hasn't even shown itself yet."

He looked up slightly.

"The king of vampires?" π•—π—Ώπ•–πžπ°π—²π•“π§π• π•§π—²π₯.πšŒπ¨πš–

Another pause.

"I don't even know where I stand anymore."

His voice dropped.

"Am I going to be labeled a national threat after everything I've done?"

A bitter chuckle escaped him.

"I defeated them all and now"

He shook his head.

"maybe I overdid it."

He closed his eyes briefly.

"Damn it"

Raito leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling.

"What exactly am I supposed to do now?"

His voice was low.

"They locked me in here for what reason?"

His jaw tightened.

"By now my sister and my dad must have seen the news. They'll come rushing back to Japan"

Silence.

Then

Footsteps.

Raito's eyes snapped open.

He stood up instantly.

The entrance was already destroyed the massive reinforced door long gone, sent flying deep underground earlier. The corridor still bore the scars of that single punch.

Three guards appeared first.

Then

A man stepped forward.

Calm. Smiling.

Mesan Nibori.

The guards behind him glanced around nervously. Even now, they couldn't fully process what they had seen on CCTV the moment Raito sent a 45,000 kilogram door flying with nothing but raw strength.

No mana.

No ability.

Just brute force.

Mesan smiled.

"Well well. We meet again."

Raito's eyes narrowed slightly.

"The first time we met, you didn't want me to see your face," Mesan continued. "But it was only a matter of time."

He tilted his head.

"Have you forgotten the warning I gave you? That they would come for you?"

Raito's expression didn't change.

"I haven't forgotten."

A pause.

"And you're right we meet again."

His gaze sharpened.

"So tell me why are you here?"

Mesan chuckled softly.

"No need to rush."

He stepped forward calmly.

"Don't worry. I've used my connections."

His voice carried quiet authority.

"Even if I'm old I'm still one of the most respected men in this country. Even the president listens to me."

The guards straightened instinctively.

"The other guild leaders are not happy with my decision," Mesan continued. "But that doesn't matter."
