Gu Tao’s fingers dug into the wall, sinking into the cold steel.

Blood flowed from his fingertips, but he refused to let go of the wall.

He scrambled to his feet and chased after Jiang Zheyu, his voice cracking as he yelled, "Baby! Baby!"

But his voice was drowned out by the noisy crowd.

And with so many people, Jiang Zheyu’s figure gradually vanished from his sight.

He stepped on his own suit jacket. Gu Tao stared down at it blankly, his expression unreadable. He lowered his head slightly and slowly crouched down to pick it up.

’Baby dropped my suit jacket.’

Swept along by the crowd, Jiang Zheyu burst out of the Starship. A moment ago, to prevent Gu Tao from catching up and recognizing her, she had bought a Transformation Potion from the System Mall amidst the chaos. It could turn her into a Male Beastman for a full day. Plus, if she wanted to change back, she could cancel the effect at any time. It was only ten points!

So, just in case, she bought it!

And so, in the form of a Male Beastman, Jiang Zheyu rushed out of the Starship and tasted the air of freedom!

She quickly glanced back and, seeing no sign of Gu Tao, finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She had just taken a deep breath of fresh air when her wrist was suddenly seized. Caught completely off guard, she was forcefully shoved into a Hovercar by a large Male Beastman.

Jiang Zheyu scrambled to get out, but the next second, another Beastman was violently pushed in. The person slammed into her side, forcing her further inside. Her back hit another Beastman, sending a wave of pain rolling through her arm and back.

Then, one after another, more Beastmen were shoved in, completely packing the back seat of the Hovercar.

BANG!

The Hovercar door was slammed shut!

"Wait—!" Jiang Zheyu’s hazel eyes widened. She reached desperately for the Hovercar door, but surrounded by Beastmen, she couldn’t squeeze her way out!

The Hovercar started up, instantly lifting off the ground and speeding away.

The very next second after the Hovercar fled, the Imperial Army arrived to make arrests.
