In a remote, shadow-laden place, seven ornate thrones stood in commanding presence, each occupied by a figure exuding an aura of mystique.

Their regal countenances were illuminated by eyes radiating an otherworldly brilliance, casting shimmering glints in the darkness.

The chamber itself was a canvas of unknown symbols and runes etched into the walls, pulsating with ancient, arcane energy.

Due to the sheer presence of these beings, the atmosphere seemed to thicken, the air taking on a weighty, almost tangible quality, forming a heat haze.

In this pregnant silence, broken only by the subtle crackling of the mystical energies, a voice resonated, shattering the serene stillness.

[Demon Queen seems to have withdrawn]

It resounded within the place, causing even the smallest particles suspended in the air to tremble and dance to the unseen vibrations.

[ Adriannel seems to interfere in it, Again ]

Another voice interrupted, not allowing the vibrating particles to rest, causing them to crumble into tiny pieces.

They all looked intensely in front.

Their eyes reflected the shining Amethyst Energy, coming out of a vast dimensional portal, leading to the hidden realm.

There indeed existed an another gate to the hidden realm, known only by these beings.

It was a Dimensional crack, a worm whole formed centuries ago.

Still, it wasn’t enough for them to venture forth freely inside the hidden realm and face that catastrophe.

The story of the Foundation of the Obsidian Order Started with this,

Long ago, Archmage Riannel Aintain discovered the gates of Hidden Realm, entered a whole new world.

Due to his intervention in that world which was in shadows until now, many inhabitants of that world too sensed presence of an outsider, causing one of the Beings of that world to engage in a Battle with Archmage.

The struggle went for days, at that time, Riannel stood against an Orlandian — The Beings of that hidden world referred themselves.

At that time, Seven Seats known as HEPTALITH, The Rulers of that world, made their way towards the place where battle was occuring.

Arriving at that place, seeing a mere human pushing back one of the high ranking members of Heptalith, they became bewildered.

The only reason, these Beings didn’t touched that Dimensional crack leading to an unknown realm, from where this human seemed to arrive until now, was due to a Prophecy —

⟨|| When the Gate to the Forbidden Realm opens, a tiny Fire-fly will emerge. Its glow shall engulf our world, setting it ablaze and signaling the end of our time ||⟩

Bewildered they stood, looking at the human shining in golden Aura, atleast they were sure, this human was not that fire-fly from the prophecy, afterall it was an ancient tale passed down in their world.

They calmly observed,

Battle was intense, Sheer pressure of these two beings going against each other, toe to toe, caused a wormhole to form between both worlds.

The Ancestors had sealed off access from their side to prevent their future generations from venturing into that realm.

However, upon witnessing the formation of the wormhole, their dormant emotions stirred.

With great caution, they sent small parts of their souls into that breach. This action inadvertently allowed fragments of those beings to arrive in this world.

Upon entering this world, they sought to establish their sovereignty, but this world’s resistance surpassed their expectations.

The inhabitants of the Demon Realm were ready to sacrifice themselves, acting as a meat shield against outside threats.

The denizens of the Saint Realm stood against injustice, even the slightest, driven by their pride and sense of justice.

However, the real challenge lay with the Human Realm, characterized by their stubbornness and determination.

While their stubbornness could be overcome by sheer force.

But the problem was, humans were not alone.

Cratens, Dariants, and Haidrens stood as an unshakeable wall.

These fragments were not strong enough to confront all these races simultaneously, without their real body.

They hid their presence, waiting and preparing a vessel to ascend in this world.

Their decision was not based solely on hypothetical analyses of other races behavior, but on observed facts— the Twilight’s End and the Cataclysmic War.

Elves and dragons faced annihilation at the hands of this world’s strongest being, in a devastating massacre known as the Twilight’s End.

Then Just after, The Twilight’s End, another historical event happened — Catalysmic War.

The massacre of Elves and Dragons, vanishing in Chrintain Valley at the hands of humans and other races in the Human Realm, intensified matters.

Witnessing this, the fragmented beings attempted to return to their real body, seeing how Human Realm had fallen from it’s peak.

But their all attempts become futile, the moment they realised, Hidden Realm’s doors were guarded by an opponent they couldn’t easily ignore.

If it was before, they could have used forced against the gatekeeper infront of them but now....

The Cataclysmic War further illustrated this world’s strength.

Beings claiming to be the pinnacle of their races faced Dragons and Elves, resulting in the death of 36 Dragons, 1 Elven Demigod, 4 Archmages, 3 Runic Lords, 2 Aqua Lords, and a single Titan from the human realm.

These statistics were clear evidence for these fragmented beings to assess the strength of Dragons and Elves— an apparent sacrifice from Chrintain Valley to give them more clarity about this world’s Strongest Being.

In their eyes, Against, Dragons and Elves, the figures who perished were not merely powerful beings, but they represented the foundational pillars of their respective races.

Cratens, Dariants, Haidrens and Humans, all these races faced loss that was irreplaceable.

From the perspective of these fragments, the sheer number of sacrifices made by the Dragons were enough to result in the perceived weakening of the Human realm’s strength.

This transformed the image of Dragons from being considered weak to being seen as the second strongest force, as perceived by these fragments.

In their initial perspective, Dragons and Elves were deemed weaker due to the Twilight’s End— a battle where a Demoness emerged and massacred thousands of these creatures.

This one-sided massacre caused the Fragments to perceive both races as weaker in their estimation.

This perception changed with the Cataclysmic War, altering their understanding of the races and their strength, especially giving them estimation about the strongest one here.

The beings like Aqua Lords, Archmages etc. that appeared as obstacles were now seen as mere stepping stones toward their ultimate goal.

The only being eligible for their attention was

Evangeline — standing as a significant barrier.

Although Archmage Adriannel invoked caution but the Fragments were confident in facing him, willing to battle to have a 5% chance of opening the doors of the Hidden Realm against him, at the cost of facing Annihilation of atleast six of them.

But against Evangeline?

0%

It was calculated chance of success, even after running numerous simulations — seemed akin to facing a God.

Ofcourse, Until the Hidden Realm’s doors unleashes itself.

Allowing them to take their true forms.

They were confident of rendering even this so-called god powerless.

But, To prevent their destruction before the Seal’s opening, they operated under a facade—The Obsedian Order.

Patiently observing and waiting for the right moment,

They observed calmly, once again.

From the event — Weakening of Evangeline’s Seal by Chrintain Valley, to Riannel’s sacrifice.

They wanted to take advantage of both of their collision.

Yet, in all those battles, not once did Evangeline leave the hidden Realm.

[ Fire-Fly ]

Amidst their contemplation, a figure in the chamber suddenly began tapping the throne’s handrest, drawing everyone’s attention to a distant sight—a Golden Winged Young Man embracing a woman.

WHOOSH

CRUMBLE

The energy they emitted started to cause the space around them to crumble, witnessing an energy forbidden in their world.

This was reminiscent of a tale passed down throughout their world—a being akin to darkness, illuminated by a small spark, who burned the entire world in his agony of losing his beloved.

A tale,

That narrates the story of a being from their world who fell in love with a woman from this realm.

After losing her in an act of retaliation, the being was driven to a state of anguish and sorrow, leading to the destruction of their entire world.

The tale unfolds further, revealing that, a woman, akin to that Fire-fly, was destined to evoke and instigate another catastrophe upon their world.

Present before them now was the same energy borne from the sacrifice made by that being, who chose death to merge with the woman.

[Zalthorak, send one of your knights]

One of the beings without shifting their gaze, unveiling a secret unknown to all—possession of more than just the seven Obsidian knights.

[ Kill that girl and bring the boy here; So we can ensure, his body turns into ashes ]

With these chilling words, their objective became clear: they aimed to crush that bud before it could bloom, avoiding the repetition of the same tragedy.

One of the being raised their hand, an ethereal aura surrounding it, conjuring a dimensional portal, shrouded in black smoke, that unveiled a radiant white humanoid figure, So called Obsidian Knight — an outward facade projecting purity and kindness, reminiscent of the popular belief that perceives all that glimmers gold as pure.

Afterall, People tends to link white with purity and Black with darkness; Unaware,

Behind every glorious facade there is always hidden something very ugly
