The customs and culture of Great Yong are very similar to those of Great Jin, even the architecture in the streets is exceptionally alike. The husband and wife strolled around the city but found it uninteresting, so they found a secluded place, summoned the Divine Eagle, and rode on it to relax somewhere else.

The landscapes of Great Yong are beautiful, with vast territories. The Divine Eagle circled in the air, and Cai Wei, from a distance, saw a series of vast mountains more than a hundred miles away. The mountains were high, reaching into the clouds, towering magnificently, so she said to the Divine Eagle, "Let’s go take a look at that mountain!"

The Divine Eagle let out a cry and flapped its wings, flying towards the mountain Cai Wei mentioned. In the blink of an eye, they arrived at the mountain.

The couple descended only to see the mountain was lush and continuous, with peaks surrounding like a natural fortress. Clear streams gently murmured, and wild grasses grew chaotically. Strange trees stood skytall by the cliffs, rare flowers glowing in the sunlight. The mountain paths were hidden in mist; wild hues shrouded the bridge, close to the blue mist. The ridge’s shape seemed distant; the sound of pines whispering over the water connected to the white clouds. The rustling was only the sound of the dew falling from the woods; the shrill was just the sound of leaves whispering in the wind.

Nangong Yi held Cai Wei’s hand and said, "The mountain terrain is steep, madam, hold on tight to me, lest you slip and fall, which would be quite unfortunate."

Cai Wei had the space, so even if she fell, she could easily enter the space, and there was no need for worry. But Nangong Yi cared too much for Cai Wei, inevitably becoming a bit verbose.

Cai Wei pursed her lips and smiled without arguing with him, obediently holding onto his big hand, and the couple set off to explore the mountain.

The scenery in the mountain was extremely beautiful, with distant views of green hills layered upon layers, and close views of lush green hills outreaching the blue mountains. Towering pines swayed with shadows, leaning against steep ridges pressed onto sharp cliffs. Green cypress shadows swayed like a mysterious leopard’s tail, steep cliffs with pines of broken teeth; the old dragon’s waist appeared like a ladder when looking up, like a crutch when looking down. The azure mountain reached ten thousand feet, touching the sky, while orioles sang melancholy beneath the earth’s gate. The mountain path was rugged, difficult to enter or exit; the water paths twisted, flowing back and forth. On the treetops, life continued: bird chirps rang with grace and eerily uplifted; truly a sight not to part with, enjoying it could make one forget to return.

Without realizing it, it was already late morning; Cai Wei felt a bit tired and was planning to enter the space to make something to eat when suddenly, from afar, a woman’s long and distant singing voice came: "Hun Dun never remembers the year, each one uses wonderful ways to complete the truth. There were no stars or dippers at that time, first there were us, then there was heaven."

Upon hearing the singing, Cai Wei and Nangong Yi were both startled. ’First there were us, then there was heaven,’ what an arrogant statement. How could there be a woman in these deep mountains who uttered such profound words? It was clear she was no ordinary person. The couple stood up simultaneously, looking around in the direction of the voice.

In the distance, they saw a woman resembling a priestess, with her back to them, walking in the opposite direction.

"Let’s go, let’s take a look!"

Cai Wei summoned the Divine Eagle and rode on it to chase after that priestess.

The speed of the Divine Eagle could be described as traveling a thousand miles in a day; logically, it should catch up with the singer in the blink of an eye.

However, strangely, no matter how the Divine Eagle chased, it just couldn’t catch up with the leisurely woman ahead, and the mountain seemed to grow larger, as if boundlessly vast. The Divine Eagle flew for a long time but still couldn’t fly out.

The woman ahead walked unhurriedly, still singing: "Knowing the way to eternal life beyond things, truly is a carefree immortal. Reincarnating and wearing flesh, the two forces, Yin and Yang, precede heaven. On Fu You Island, cultivating True Qi, there is a chance to comprehend the mysteries between the mystery doors. Clearly pointing out the wondrousness of nothingness, but alas, mortal hearts refuse to let go."

Even though the distance was far, the singing was as clear as if right next to their ears. When the priestess finished singing, she suddenly vanished.

Cai Wei and Nangong Yi were greatly shocked and had the Divine Eagle stop at the place where the priestess disappeared. The two got off the Divine Eagle and hurried over.

The place where the priestess disappeared was a small cave hidden by flowers and trees. The entrance was over two meters high, narrow and cramped, just enough for one person to enter sideways.

"Come on, let’s go in and take a look!"

Cai Wei let go of Nangong Yi’s hand, turning sideways to squeeze into the cave.

Nangong Yi peeked into the cave, seeing nothing in the pitch-black darkness, he said, "I’ll go in first, just follow me."

Cai Wei knew he was concerned about her, so with a laugh, she followed him as he suggested.

As they entered the cave, it felt cold, and they couldn’t see their fingers. Cai Wei took out a Night Pearl from the space to illuminate the surroundings and surveyed the cave.

The cave was not large, only about two or three zhang wide, surrounded by stone walls with nothing unusual. Moreover, the ground was full of mud, slippery and sticky, hard to move. The couple observed for a while but found nothing, so Nangong Yi said, "Look, there’s nothing here, it’s just a broken cave, we should head back."

Cai Wei, a bit unwilling, said, "But the priestess, she clearly disappeared here!"

Nangong Yi laughed and said, "How do you know she must be a priestess? She might be a mountain ghost or a tree spirit, transformed into human form to tease us."

Still not giving up, Cai Wei summoned Brother Ying, who was monitoring the Princess of Chu in the city, to come over and help her check for anything amiss.

Brother Ying opened his perspective eye and scanned the cave, pointing at a stone more than two feet high, saying, "There’s a hole behind that rock."

Upon hearing this, Nangong Yi swiftly moved over, shifted the stone aside, and indeed, a small hole less than two feet was revealed.

"Brother Ying, see what’s inside the hole?"

Cai Wei was quite excited, like an explorer discovering something new.

Brother Ying looked intently for a while, slightly exasperated, and said, "What’s happening? My eyes are failing again, I only see a cloud of white mist in the distance, nothing else."

Cai Wei called out Chang Mei and instructed it to go in and see what was inside the small cave.

Brother Ying was also curious about this unclear cave, so he clamored to go in too. Cai Wei thought this cave was very strange, and not knowing whether it was auspicious or ominous inside, having another helper was always good, so she agreed to let Brother Ying go in too.

Chang Mei and Brother Ying’s small statures made entering the cave easy. The two Divine Beasts bid farewell to Cai Wei and quickly disappeared into the cave’s entrance.

Cai Wei took out two chairs, a small table from the space, and some fruits and dim sum, sitting with Nangong Yi in the cave, eating and waiting.

The time always flew when they were together, sipping tea and chatting, and before they knew it, it was already night outside. However, Brother Ying and Chang Mei still hadn’t returned. Xiao Mei started to get anxious, trying to contact them with her thoughts.

To her surprise, she found that Brother Ying and Chang Mei had lost contact with her!

"What’s going on? They’ve lost contact with me!"

Shocked, Cai Wei stood up, an expression of astonishment on her brow.

Nangong Yi furrowed his brow and said, "Don’t worry, try again in a while."
