Chapter 476: What do you mean I caused this?

Among the sea of people was Jie-Yu. As a Beta, she was unaffected by Pheromones but it didn’t mean she couldn’t feel the density in the air.

She came to my side, trying to help but there was nothing she could do. Even a beta couldn’t stand the potency of an Omega’s heat Pheromones.

"What are you doing just standing there?" She suddenly shrieked, causing the crowd to flinch.

She wanted to draw attention, attention from the other end of the hall where my Alphas were but at by then, they probably already got a whiff of my strawberry pheromones, smelling different from usual, and were making their way here.

Min-Cheol was the first to react. He pushed past the crowd of people who were looking in my direction cautiously and then stood in front of me, his breath caught as his hands trembled.

My Pheromones were potent, that’s for sure.

He couldn’t bring himself to come closer without losing his mind in an instant and he hated himself for it right away.

"Hyung," he called but I could barely lift my head.

Jin-Yeok was the next to make his way there. He clicked his tongue, losing his composure as he took off his coat and quickly wrapped it around me.

He kept his handkerchief over his nose, even though it wouldn’t do much since an Omega’s heat Pheromones wasn’t just perceived with the nose.

They felt it with their entire body, the pores on their body seeping in this scent. And I watched right away as Jin-Yeok’s face went flush red, his breathing changing.

Then, Ki-hoon and Seo-Jun came forward.

"Jo-Pil!" They looked at the mess I was in and knew right away what had to be done, but before that.

Ki-hoon turned to Hang-Dae who was trying to slip away in the middle of the chaos. He yanked his cousin by the collar, and he crashed into the floor.

"You did this, didn’t you?" Ki-hoon gnarled, showing a conduct he had never once let the public see.

The media was getting a fill of this, taking pictures and making calls right away.

Hang-Dae clicked his tongue and then yelled, as if trying to announce to the entire congregation.

"What do you mean I caused this? He’s an Omega, and him going in heat from perceiving just a little bit of Alpha Pheromones just shows how much of slut he is!" He yelled and then a heavy punch cracked his jaw.

If was Min-Cheol. He had completely lost it, stepping on Hang-Dae and kicking him like the worthless junk he was but this situation... Why did it seem similar to the one in the original?

Min-Cheol actually killed the guard so it’s different, but this was still him acting unlike his seemingly innocent image.

He was losing his mind.

"...top!" I wanted to stop him but my voice was caught.

I was feverish, my vision was hazy and everything going on was a blur but I couldn’t let it go on. If it did, it would only ruin Min-Cheol’s reputation.

"Little... Min," I struggled to say and he paused, turning his head to look at me as I panted heavily. "Stop, please..."

Min-Cheol’s brows furrowed and his face became a mask of guilt.

"Sorry, Hyung. Sorry," he immediately began to apologize but he couldn’t come closer. "Sorry, sorry," he only repeated those words, like that was all he knew how to say in this moment.

He had tears in his eyes, and I wonder... Did he think I was going to die or something?

"Guards," Ki-hoon called. "Take Hang-Dae and have the police detain him for questioning."

"What?!" Hang-Dae exclaimed, coughing. "How can you do this?" But no one listened to him and were now focused on me.

The guards took him away and then they turned their attention to me. The reporters were getting their fill of all that were going on and were interpreting the situation however they saw fit.

"For now, we’re leaving." Ki-hoon said. "So, let’s go."

Jin-Yeok lifted me into his arms. I was trembling, and just wanted to close my eyes for a moment, but I couldn’t even do that since the heat was so potent, causing me to burn up even more.

As soon as we made our way out, the reporters began to bombard us with questions, having heard what was going on inside the gala.

"Is it true that you beat up your cousin?"

"Is it true that you’re all partners with one Omega?"

"Is it true that Alpha Min-Cheol is mentally unstable?"

"Is it true...?"

"Is it true...?"

They kept looking for the ’truth’ in such a situation, as if they wouldn’t interpret the event however they saw fit despite our answer.

I thought we were just going to walk away, let the guards block the reporters until we made our way into the limousine but Seo-Jun stopped, snatching a microphone and said,

"Yeah, he’s out Omega, so what?" He decided he was gonna talk smack about it. "Does your opinion about our relationship matter? You can go find your own shared Omega if it bugs you that much."

The reporters went silent for a bit and then began to roar with question again. I squinted my eyes, pressing my lips firmly together as I clutched Jin-Yeok’s coat on me.

This time, it was definitely my fault.

"Then what about Alpha Ki-hoon’s cousin? Did he really warrant that beating from Alpha Min-Cheol?"

Min-Cheol had nothing to say. Instead, he glared at the reporters and they made sure to take pictures of it to use as the headlines.

I didn’t want this to go on any longer. I couldn’t just let it.

I reached out and Ki-hoon caught my hand. His face aad flush red but he was doing his best to keep his head out of the clouds, like Jin-Yeok was.

"Don’t worry, Jo-Pil." He said, trying to look at me with a reassuring smile without looking like a pervert with that flush on his face. "I’ll handle this. But not now. You first."

We began moving again and Ki-hoon made sure to pull Seo-Jun along before he started showing his true colors and giving the reporters his middle fingers.

Everything that I was glad had ended in success without any incidents all went up in flames because of my heat.

Min-Cheol made the headlines as a violent tug who was mentally unstable, Seo-Jun made the news too, as someone who didn’t care about morals.

And I... Became a scandal that dragged all their names through the mud.
