"Well, how do we know that you won’t just aim to destroy all 3 of us?" – asked Apple.

"Honestly, what the hell do you want in the first place?"

(So that bitch hunted her prey?) – thought Phantasia.

(Hm... Honestly, I don’t.... No! I can’t let Arthur get to the finals!)

(The moment I choose side it will definitely become either 2vs2 or 2vs1vs1 situation.)

(Don’t recognize that name.... He ain’t a master ranker.... Unregistered one?) – thought Phantasia.

"So... Why I should pick you over her?" – asked Phantasia, alarming Doremi.

The chain user sends out his chains, causing everybody to get ready to fight.

However, the chain user just sends his attack backwards, hitting one of the massive tree’s branches, before then pulling himself upwards.

After sending himself flying, the chain user would sent out his chains around, attaching himself to more trees while swinging himself around.

(He left.) – thought Doremi and Phantasia as their detection skills confirmed the foe leaving the area.

(Does he want to avoid the risk?) – thought Phantasia.

"I guess this is decided." – said Phantasia as both Doremi and madman got ready to fight the injured swordman.

(FUCK!) – thought Arthur as he tried quickly fleeing, only for Phantasia to quickly close up the distance and swung his fist, forcing Arthur on defense as he used his blade to defend himself.

"?!" – however, the strike was far more powerful than Arthur had thought, causing his defensive stand to get broken, allowing Phantasia to quickly land another punch in the guts.

(Fa-) – Arthur tried regaining his stance by quickly firing off a skill, but Phantasia wasn’t having it, as he grabbed the injured swordman by his head, before then throwing him right at the golden mecha.

And Doremi was just waiting for it.

The golden mecha swung down axes and swords at Arthur, aiming to finish the man off.

"?!" – however, as the blades came down, Arthur unleashed a massive volume of golden flames.

The blades cut through the flames.... However, Arthur was nowhere near the blades.

Before Doremi realized, Arthur was already above her, reforming his body from the golden flames while also preparing to unleash his attack.

[Acid Devil: Shark]

However, as Arthur was about to unleash his strike, a massive horned devil shark, which was made out of acid.

The beast swallowed Arthur’s whole body, before then smashing right into the ground.

([Acid Witch]?! He has this class?!) – thought Arthur as he was covered from head to toes in acid as the monster body came undone.

Doremi swung her blades once again and this time to series of blows connected, making the swordman HP drop at the dangerous low point.

Arthur used [Sun Magic: Blinding Sun], unleashing a powerful flash of light which blinded both Doremi and Phantasia, giving the man a chance to quickly leap away as the goblin started swinging randomly with her weapons, trying to hit the swordman.

(I ain’t planning on staying and fighting both of them!) – thought Arthur as he was making a break for it.

Arthur given up completely on fighting both of these players, while still being cautious of the chain user, who could still appear out of nowhere with teleportation magic.

However, as Arthur ran, a ground in front of him suddenly erupted and several massive snake insect monsters emerged from the ground, forming a massive wall that completely blocked off Arthur’s escape path.

[Chimera]

[Desert Hunter Centipede X Dragon Bite Rattlesnake]

The centipede and snake chimera giant monsters rushed at Arthur who in response swung his sword at the monsters, unleashing a slash of golden fire.... Which did landed, however, did not stopped the creatures, which continued their charge, forcing Arthur to in panic leap backwards, barely dodging the attacks.

"The fuck?!" – shouted Arthur as the monsters continued their chase, forcing the man to unleashes blast of fire magic at the monsters... Which were easily endured by the creatures.

(What the fuck?! How high are their defense!)

Both Doremi and Phantasia already recovered from the blinding light and were already on their way.

"FUCK IT!" – shouted Arthur as he suddenly put his sword next to his neck.

(Suicide?!) – both Doremi and Phantasia instantly realize what was going on and sped up.... But they were too late.

Arthur decapitated himself.

[Player Arthur has died.]

"Fuck." – said Phantasia.

"H-he killed himself!? Why?!" – said confused Doremi.

"To not let us have our way... The respawn time will protect him... And he probably didn’t wanted to waste time..." – said Phantasia.

(He is using respawn mechanic for his own advantage to escape the hopeless situation.... Smartass.) – thought Phantasia as he looked towards Doremi, who instantly went on high alert.

"Nah. You deal with him." – said Phantasia as he started walking away, straight up turning his back to Doremi while snapping his fingers, ordering his giant serpent insect monsters to fallow him.

"He ruined my fun.... And just chasing him around while having do the freaking suicide over and over doesn’t sound interesting if he can do it without any consequences."

(Oh thank god!) – thought Doremi.

(Fucking second time I’ve ran into this bastard and I thought I would really have no choice but to fight him.... But I guess he is.... Wait.)

(HOW AM I GOING TO HUNT ARTHUR!?)

The semifinals were chaotic.

Rankers and unregistered rankers fought each other nonstop without rest.

And as they did, all five maps were straight up getting demolished.

It wasn’t just the fight between Arthur, Apple and Doremi like that, no.

ALL of them were making that sort of mess.

However, some players were making a much "cleaner" mess... While some others made the exact form of mess as the trio.

And there were also some players who ALONE made the whole area around them become wasteland.

Pretty much, just like the first round and the second round, chaos.

All of this was just chaos.

"You know.... Was it.... I don’t know... I don’t remember it being like this during the first tournament." – said W.W as she observed all five maps.

["Yeah.... I mean, this was supposed to be different and what not, for each phase.... But.... Wow... We really screwed up big time, didn’t we?"] – replied the voice

"Of course you did! There is straight up nothing I can comment on because how much chaos is going on!" – said W.W.

"This is really just one massive shit show."

"Welp.... At least finals are definitely going to be interesting."

And as the numbers went down, so went up the people desperation.

Even as the top players of each map hunted down their {preys}, the chaos did not calmed down.

It only made people even more desperate to go to the finals.

The whole match was one massive shitshow, where players were just tearing apart the whole map.

However, there was massive difference compare to the previous rounds.

The number.

Compare to the other rounds, the number of the people taking part in semi finals was "small" compare to the other rounds.

And yet, these people are causing so much damage.

This is just straight up prove of their power.

It wasn’t war between armies of players.

No.

It was war between individual players that ravaged the maps.

And from these ravaged maps, only the strongest and smartest players came out, as last players from each map had took the qualification spot.
