"Yes. I’ve gotten married to Scarlet. Besides, I don’t plan to get married to get divorced. We would hold a wedding soon. We hope you could attend the wedding with my father," Jason said sincerely.

"Impossible. We would never agree with the marriage. I can give up on you. Don’t even call me your mother. Getaway. This is not your home."

Grace turned around. Looking at her back, Jason pressed his lips tightly.

His lips turned paler and paler.

He held Scarlet’s small hands tightly; therefore, Scarlet could clearly feel the pain at the bottom of his heart. He held her hands so tightly that she feels pain. But it seemed that he didn’t even know that.

"Let’s go."

Finally, he said these two terms out. Actually, he was not surprised when hearing these words from his mother. However, as their son, he still felt so guilty. He thought it was he that betrayed the whole family.

It was his fault.

But....they didn’t want to give him a chance to make an amendment. They were so merciless.

Jason turned around and left. But Scarlet stopped him suddenly.

She said quickly, "Mrs. William, what do you want me to do so that you can accept me? I really don’t want to see this. I really don’t want you to hurt each other."

Hearing her words, Grace could not help herself bursting into a laugh. She turned around and said, "Whose fault do you think? Because of you, my family broke down totally. Don’t you have any idea about this? Fine, I can tell you what you can do to satisfy me. But could you really do that?"

"Yes. Of course. For Jason, I am willing to do anything."

Scarlet gathered all courage and said. She held her small hands tightly, forcing herself to face reality bravely.

Jason stood in front of her and said, "Scarlet, don’t do this. This is not your fault. It is my decision. The one that should be punished is me."

"But we are a couple. From now on, we should face everything together. You’ve done a lot for me. It is time for me to do something for you. I am fine. Don’t worry about me."

Scarlet smiled slightly at Jason. She padded his hands and stepped towards Grace, "Mrs. William, no matter whether you are willing to accept this or not, we are families from now on. I am Jason’s wife. You are his mother. Though I call you Mrs. William, you are still my mother in law now."

"I won’t divorce with Jason. Your hatred for me would cause nothing but more conflicts between you and Jason. I could not get pregnant now. But that doesn’t mean that I would never be able to get pregnant. I would try to recover. I would get better and better. I would try the tube baby."

"We still have a long time in advance. Do you really want to live a life like this? Never see your son again? You’ve spent a lot of time with him. Do you really want to give him up and throw him to another woman?"

Grace was so pissed off. She didn’t expect that Scarlet was such a talkative girl.

Every word sounded so sharp. She didn’t even know how to reply to her. Finally, she got so angry that she slapped her.

Seeing this, Jason immediately rushed to her and dragged her behind.

But Scarlet didn’t avoid the slapping. She felt so burning hurtful on the face.

"You are not my son. Getaway right now," Grace shouted out angrily. But Jason didn’t follow her order. Grace squinted. She wanted to ask her secretary to stop him.
