You Are Mine (English)
Chapter 895: Don’t Ever Come Back
This was the first time for Scarlet to enter into the William Mansion. It is a building of a simple European style, based on a cold tone, decorated with carvings. It looked so cold.
Maids inside the building also looked so indifferent and stubborn.
Apparently, they were all like their masters.
Scarlet suddenly felt scared of her father in law in the future.
The cooks have prepared all the dishes inside the kitchen. Grace stepped into the house and changed her clothes and shoes. Then, she went upstairs to ask her husband to have lunch.
Jason gave Scarlet a pair of slippers and said, "Come on. I don’t think we could enjoy lunch today. Get prepared."
Of course, she’s prepared. But she seriously doubted whether she’s really prepared enough.
When Grace arrived on the second floor, Zelda was reading some documents. He knew it was Grace, so he didn’t even raise his head, "Time for lunch?"
"Yeah. Jason comes back home with that girl. They want us to attend their wedding together."
"Impossible, get them out," Zelda immediately answered in a cold voice without raising his head, "I believe you can handle this yourself. I need to sign an agreement. I would go downstairs in ten minutes."
"At least have lunch with them. I miss my son. Could we talk about this after lunch?" Grace eased her voice. She didn’t want to talk to her husband like a robot.
Now, Grace really wanted to have lunch with the new couple together in peace.
She didn’t care about the seriousness of her husband’s face before. But at the moment, she really hated that. She could not even tolerate that.
She’s been looking at that face for so many years. She didn’t expect that she would hate it one day.
Hearing her words, Zelda said, "Impossible. He really made me humiliating. Now I don’t even know how to explain to Morton. Jason’s back home, right? He’s gotten married, right? Had he signed the prenuptial agreement? If not, I would prepare for them. Tell him, I would not give him a penny. Don’t dream of getting one penny from the family. So does that woman. I’ve done with this son."
He was still writing on the paper while saying these words. He still looked quite concentrating while talking.
The French he wrote on the paper with The red pen looked quite powerful.
Hearing these words, Grace took a deep breath and said, "Zelda, could you separate your work from your personal life? Jason is our son. Could you really be done with him?"
"Of course. I would announce this to the public. From now on, you should also stop connecting with him."
"Go out. I have a video conference. You’ve interrupted my work."
Grace wanted to say more to persuade him. But she could not say a word out at the moment.
Finally, she said, "Fine. By the way, prepare a divorce agreement. Let’s get a divorce."
She gathered all courage to say these words out.
Hearing these words, Zelda finally stopped what he was doing. But he didn’t even move his pen. He looked so calm at the moment.
He frowned slightly and raised his head. Then he said, in a somehow unpleasant voice, "Stop saying nonsense. We’ve been too old to talk about this. Do you really think we are still quite young?"
"You can say I’ve been too selfish. If you dare to kick our son out, I would immediately divorce you."
"These two things were totally different. Don’t mix them up. I know what you need now. Please get out now. I would deal with it after I finish my job."
Hearing such cold words, Grace sneered at the corner of his mouth. She finally realized the reason why her son never wanted to settle down before he met Scarlet. Being brought up by such parents, it was certainly difficult for Jason to believe in love.
What really mattered now was that Zelda took such a casual indifferent attitude when she said she wanted to divorce him.
Different things? Mixed up?
They were about to divorce. What the hell was he talking about now?
Grace had been pressing her anger for a long time. She finally exploded out at the moment.
She slapped on his desk directly, shocking Zelda immediately.
He looked at her, unpleasantly, "What are you doing? What the hell are you doing? You are ridiculous."
"Ridiculous? Zelda William, now I am really shocked that I could really live with you for such a long time. Fine. Let’s divorce. Both of us clearly know how to separate our property. I would get out of this house with our son. You can do whatever you want. What do you say?"
"What is wrong with you?"
Zelda finally realized Grace really wanted to divorce him. He stood up and stared at the woman in front of him. He was wondering whether the women in front of him lost her mind.
"Grace, you are an adult. You should have never played this with me. I don’t have time to argue with you. You are wasting my time."
Hearing these words, Grace was pissed off totally. She directly slapped his face.
Zelda had never been slapped before. Not to mention being slapped by a woman. Not to mention being slapped by his own wife. He froze totally.
Before Zelda reflected, Grace rushed to him and grabbed his collar directly, pressing him on the wall, "I am angry. When I see you, I finally know the reason why I am angry. You really pissed me off. You’ve been retired, could you stop working for just a moment. Lots of change happened in our home. Couldn’t you pay a little more attention to our home? Zelda William, listen, I want to divorce you. I would never want to see you again. Never."
Then, she turned around and left the room.
Zelda felt so painful on his face that he almost lost consciousness.
Jason was waiting downstairs with Scarlet. When seeing Grace rushing downstairs angrily, they got confused. Grace said to them directly, "Jason. Let’s get out of this place. Let’s go to your department."
"Mother, what happened?" Jason froze.
"Stop saying anything. Let’s leave now," Grace changed her clothes and stepped out of the door. Then she stepped backward and then shouted at the upstairs, "Zelda, throw all my stuff away. I don’t want anything. See you at court."
Then, she turned around and left.
At the moment, Zelda walked downstairs embarrassingly. Seeing the wound on her face, Jason widened his eyes in astonishment.
"Father, what happened?"
At the moment, Zelda had no time to ask about Jason’s marriage anymore. All he could think about was that his wife slapped him.
He also shouted out angrily, "Fine. Let’s see at court. See who can win then."
"Jason, come here with your wife," Grace shouted at Jason.
Hearing the conversation, Jason felt helpless. He was in the middle of his father and his mother. It was really difficult for him to handle the situation.
Besides, he never saw this before. His parents never quarreled with each other before. He said in a helpless voice, "Father, take good care of yourself. I would persuade my mother later. This is my wife. Her name is Scarlet. I would like to introduce you formally next time. Goodbye, father."
"Fine. Don’t ever come back. I would announce to the public I have no wife or son from now one."
Zelda sat on the stairs and roared out angrily.
