Chapter 441: Face-to-Face Meeting

In the evening, Xu Mumu came back early after packing up her things. The method she improved was wrong, and she needed to redesign it.

When Yin Yang and the others returned, Xu Mumu mentioned the phone call from her mother.

Yin Yang’s gaze fell on Zhou Yunhong. As a man, he didn’t have the inclination to pay attention to Zhou Yunhong’s private life. Zhou Yunhong was actually three years older than him, and yet he was still single.

"What do you mean? You’re not young either; it’s time to find a wife." Yin Yang looked at Zhou Yunhong.

Zhou Yunhong blushed. After what Li Caixia said earlier, he really was thinking about finding a wife. He didn’t expect Li Caixia to still have it in mind after going back and even suggest that he should meet someone, which made him feel even more embarrassed.

"I could take a look." Zhou Yunhong said shyly.

"Then what kind of girl do you like? I’ll have my mom ask around to see who’s suitable. If you don’t like them, we’ll introduce you to someone else." Xu Mumu said gently.

"I’m okay with any, as long as she can live a peaceful life with me." Zhou Yunhong’s face reddened even more, as it was the first time someone asked him such questions directly.

"Your standards are really low. There’s Wang from my mom’s office...," Xu Mumu twitched her mouth slightly, then relayed her mother’s words to Zhou Yunhong. She wasn’t sure if her mother had exaggerated the details or not.

"Sounds good." Zhou Yunhong lowered his head, feeling like his whole body was on fire.

"Since you want to meet someone, hand over your work to Lin Zhengze in a few days. I’m planning to move the business to the provincial capital. You should go there first to prepare and support." Yin Yang was calm. It was indeed time for Zhou Yunhong to get a wife, and going there with his mother-in-law’s help would also assist him in handling follow-up matters – a win-win situation.

"Alright." Zhou Yunhong agreed without hesitation; he was going to Shengjiang City sooner or later, so it was best to prepare the things Yin Yang needed beforehand.

With Zhou Yunhong agreeing, Xu Mumu quickly called Li Caixia and told her about Zhou Yunhong’s future long-term development in the provincial capital, asking her mother to look after him more.

On the other end of the phone, Li Caixia agreed eagerly. She already knew that her son-in-law was running a factory there and that they were moving over, so Zhou Yunhong wouldn’t do badly in the future.

If Xu Minghui wasn’t adamant about not wanting to marry now, she would have matched Wang’s daughter with Xu Minghui. Otherwise, how could she wait for Zhou Yunhong?

Yin Yang and the others had a lot of work, and the handover process was quite complicated. It took half a month to complete, and finally, Zhou Yunhong boarded the train to the provincial capital.

Xu Mumu called Li Caixia again and did not worry about the matter anymore. She remained so busy every day that she couldn’t find the time to follow up on the situation.

Xu Mumu rubbed her brow. She had revised the drawings several times, and none seemed right. For the moment, she couldn’t figure out where she went wrong.

"Alright, stop looking at it. Take a break. Look, your eyes are bloodshot; you should really rest." Yin Yang looked at Xu Mumu with concern. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"Okay." Xu Mumu glanced at the drawings in her hand; she was indeed very tired and in need of rest.

Returning to the small courtyard, Mrs. Liu had been preparing nourishing meals as per Yin Yang’s instructions.

The effect of the nourishing meals was evident; while Xu Mumu showed little change, Professor Song and Professor Jian had put on a bit of weight.

"Mumu, you’ve become thinner; eat more quickly." Professor Song watched Xu Mumu emerge from next door, her fatigued state causing him distress.

"Grandpa, girls look better when they’re slim." Xu Mumu said with a smile, enjoying the honey lemon water Yin Yang had brought over. The sweet and sour drink invigorated her significantly.

"Nonsense, being too thin is not attractive. It’s better to have some weight." Yin Yang glared at Xu Mumu, not wanting her to follow others in dieting, making hugs less comfortable.

"Exactly, don’t listen to others. Being too thin is not good; it’s unhealthy." Professor Song agreed.

After dinner, Xu Mumu went to bed to lie down. Having been too tired these past few days, Professor Song helped her take a few days off. Since she hadn’t canceled the leave yet, it was best to have a good sleep first.

Lying in bed, Xu Mumu quickly fell asleep. Yin Yang did not disturb her; he had things to attend to.

With policy implementations lately, there hasn’t been any retraction in trends, leading to a silent rise in entrepreneurs, resulting in increased competition and additional challenges.

When Xu Mumu woke up, there was still no sign of Yin Yang in the courtyard. There was no need to ask where Yin Yang had gone.

When he finally returned late at night, Xu Mumu noticed the weariness in his eyes and felt a bit distressed. Apart from jewelry, the Yin Family business also dabbled in other sectors, and Yin Yang established those enterprises in the Imperial City. Despite having many assistants, his workload was still significant.

Every day, he was busy with a myriad of various tasks, and she couldn’t help much, which made Xu Mumu feel a little guilty.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Yin Yang asked somewhat helplessly, noticing Xu Mumu’s guilty expression.

"I just think you’re overworked, busier than me. You tell me to take care of my body, but you don’t know how to take care of yourself." Xu Mumu complained. Well, everyone understands big principles, and everyone can articulate them. But when one is really busy, there’s just not enough time to manage everything.

"Wife, you’re worried about me," Yin Yang said with a smile, feeling newly energized.

"Go away, I’m not worried about you. I just want you to be well and accompany me forever." Xu Mumu pretended to be disdainful but allowed Yin Yang to hold her obediently.

"I definitely will. I’m very conscious of my health." Yin Yang smiled, valuing himself greatly apart from his grandpa and Xu Mumu. If anything happened to him, everything in the Yin Family would benefit others. Although managing these things felt troublesome, he wouldn’t let anyone take what was rightfully his.

"Are you just trying to sweet-talk me?" Xu Mumu rested her face on Yin Yang’s shoulder, looking up at him. His face, whether seen from the front or side, was so attractive. She wondered if any female colleagues tried to flirt with him at work. When there’s a chance, she’ll visit his workplace to see if there are any unexpected discoveries.

"No, I never lie to you." Yin Yang said earnestly, since she was the only one who made him express his innermost feelings. That little girl still had doubts about him; he’d sort her out later tonight.

"Once the work here is done, I’ll take you to the seaside during summer break to have fun," Yin Yang softly suggested.

"Go to the seaside?" Xu Mumu’s eyes lit up. Neither in this life nor the previous had she been to the seaside. The only seas she had seen were on TV, the computer, or her phone. The largest body of water she had seen was the reservoir back home.
