Waldo closed the chat channel and smiled at Alanna beside him.

"Alanna, feeling better now? All those actions earlier were meant to help you vent," Waldo said. Although they only disgusted Leonard a bit, they couldn’t directly confront him in person, given their current situation.

Waldo didn’t want to see Alanna humiliated, so he did what he could to address the issue right then and there.

Alanna smiled, "Yes, I feel much better now! I can even imagine Leonard’s frustrated expression when he received those dusty chicken legs."

Waldo chuckled and handed over the twenty raw chicken legs that Leonard had sent. "Chubby can have a feast with these."

Alanna suddenly became concerned, "But, does this conflict with Leonard affect us? It seems like he’s not an ordinary person based on what others were saying."

Waldo remained indifferent, "Why should we be afraid of such a person? The moment he insulted you, he was as good as dead in my heart."

Alanna’s eyes softened, "Waldo, when did you become so domineering?"

Waldo felt awkward, "Wasn’t I domineering before?"

He embraced Alanna, "This is being domineering? Let me show you an even more domineering side."

He lifted Alanna onto his shoulders and carried her back to their room.

Helen, who was enjoying her chicken leg, was also hoisted up on his other shoulder.

"My chicken leg!" Helen protested.

Waldo chuckled and walked into the room, placing the two women on the bed.

"Don’t eat now, we’ll have something even more delicious later," he said, believing that doing something more enjoyable would help them forget their troubles.

Once Alanna and Helen fell asleep, Waldo quietly covered them with a blanket, closed the bedroom door, and left the room.

He went over to Chubby, who looked bored, and patted its head. Waldo felt sorry for the mutated tiger. It used to be the king of the forest but had to come back with him and was now confined in the underground bunker.

However, it was fortunate that Chubby’s life was safe, and the surface was probably devoid of any significant life after the meteor shower.

The next morning, as usual, Waldo was awakened by the sound of the daily email notification. He rubbed his eyes and checked today’s "Infinite Supplies."

To his surprise, there were no more "Infinite Supplies" for today. Instead, he received something called "Survival Points."

Waldo frowned, receiving just one "Survival Point."

As he received it, the system prompted him with a message.

[Dear survivor, the Infinite Resources System you are bound to has been upgraded. You will now receive one Survival Point daily, which can be accumulated and used for material lottery!]

[One Survival Point allows you to draw once, with a 100% chance of obtaining Bronze-level infinite resources, and a 50% chance of getting Silver-level or higher infinite resources.]

[Five Survival Points allow you to participate in an upgraded lottery, with a 100% chance of receiving Silver-level resources, and a 50% chance of obtaining Gold-level or higher infinite resources.]

[As you accumulate more Survival Points, you can progressively upgrade the rewards in the prize pool!]

[With 20 Survival Points, you can participate in the Ultimate Lottery, with a 100% chance of obtaining Diamond-level infinite resources, and a 50% chance of receiving Epic-level infinite resources.]

After the upgrade, Waldo had two options. He could either draw once a day, which would guarantee him at least one Bronze-level infinite resource, similar to what he used to get. Or, he could save up the Survival Points and try for higher-level rewards in the prize pool. For Waldo, this upgrade was like giving him wings!

Looking at the single Survival Point in his backpack, Waldo impulsively clicked on it. A window resembling an egg dispenser machine popped up. He clicked to insert the coin, and the machine started operating with a rumble. It then dropped an item. The item had a question mark on it, meaning Waldo had to open it to see what he got.

"Congratulations, survivor! You’ve obtained an egg. Would you like to open it?" the system prompt asked.

Waldo clicked "Open." As expected, inside was a Bronze-level infinite resource: Wasabi. "Time to eat, Waldo! Stop sitting on the bed daydreaming!" The two women loved to cook and had already prepared breakfast while Waldo was asleep.

Waldo looked at them with a tearless expression, "Do you both like Wasabi?"

Helen blinked, "I quite like it."

Waldo placed the Wasabi on the table, "You’ll have plenty of it from now on!"

Over the next few days, Waldo drew several times. After each draw, he regretted not saving the Survival Points to try for higher-level rewards. He had mostly gotten Bronze-level resources, similar to before, with the occasional higher-level ones like unlimited mineral water, 7.62mm bullets, and unlimited gasoline.

For the last draw, Waldo had only one Survival Point left for the day. If he didn’t get something higher-level this time, he would patiently accumulate ten or even thirty days’ worth of Survival Points before attempting the upgraded prize pool.

He opened the egg. Huh? Did he read it wrong? No, it was an Infinite Grenade!

Waldo couldn’t help but laugh out loud. This was worth it! His luck had finally paid off after accumulating for a few days. He drew a Gold-level Infinite Grenade, a powerful killing tool.

Several grenades were not a big threat, but what if he and Alanna and Helen threw grenades continuously for a few minutes? No one could withstand that!

As Waldo gifted countless grenades to Alanna and Helen, their expressions were overwhelmed.

"Waldo, what are these tens of thousands of grenades?!" Alanna’s eyes widened in disbelief.

Helen weighed a grenade in her hand, making sure it was a real one and not a toy model, and muttered, "If we were in the old world, we could become the world’s number one terrorist organization with these."

Waldo chuckled, "Be bold! Wiping out a small country is no problem."

They didn’t ask where Waldo got so many resources; they were used to him producing large amounts of materials. Although they had some guesses, they didn’t bother to inquire further.
