Chapter 99: Exterminate

Scorpion, standing respectfully aside, said, "Boss, we shouldn’t delay any longer. Why don’t we set off immediately to eliminate 10086!?" His words were echoed by other key members of the police station.

A burly man spoke up, "Yeah, boss, this 10086 is too arrogant. I can’t stand watching him! If you give the word, I’ll be the vanguard and take him down!"

Another strong man joined in, "Boss, give the order! I, Crow, am willing to be the front-line soldier and crush 10086 to avenge my brother!" His dark red-dyed hair bore some resemblance to Fire Wolf, who had died when the helicopter was shot down by Waldo. These two young men had replaced the two core members of the police station who died.

Sheriff watched his three loyal subordinates clamoring for action, and he slowly tapped the armrest, saying nonchalantly, "So, are you all forcing my hand, huh?"

This statement made the three of them break into a cold sweat, and they knelt down with trembling bodies, regretting their impulsive behavior. "Boss, we were wrong!"

No one spoke after that. The only sound in the conference room was the faint buzz of the projector still connected to the destroyed drone. Scorpion and the others didn’t dare to move a muscle, even if ants crawled on their faces and bit them, they endured the discomfort without moving a finger.

Sheriff suddenly let out a cold laugh, further unsettling their nerves. He stopped tapping the armrest, stood up slowly, and said, "I can see your loyalty. This time, I will personally lead all the elites of the police station to the villa area and completely exterminate 10086!"

Scorpion and the others exchanged glances, relieved that they had managed to stay out of trouble. They cheered, "Boss, you are wise!"

Sheriff paid no mind to their flattery and asked, "Did you find the person I asked you to find?"

Scorpion’s expression turned serious, and he replied, "Boss, we have found him."

Sheriff walked to the window of the conference room, hands behind his back. "Bring him in."

"Yes!" Scorpion responded and left the conference room. Soon after, he came back dragging a man covered in blood. As soon as this man entered the room, not to mention the smooth and bright porcelain tiles being stained with blood, even the air was filled with a pungent smell of blood.

The man, upon seeing Sheriff, cried out in despair, "Boss, I’m sorry! Please give me a quick death, I can’t take it anymore!" He was pinned down by Scorpion’s foot and couldn’t move, so he could only beg Sheriff while lying on the ground.

It was because of this traitor that the police station had been exposed in the industrial park in the old city. Saturn and Drug Lord had ambushed them, all thanks to him. Later, Waldo took advantage of the chaos to steal the platinum-level supply crate and killed Colossus and Fire Wolf, two key members of the police station.

As a result, the police station had to spend a lot of life supplies to replenish their combat equipment, and everyone had to eat compressed biscuits, enduring a tough life.

This traitor was implicated in all of this.

Sheriff turned around, a half-smile on his face. "Can’t take it anymore? We’ve only just begun, and you can’t handle it already?"

The traitor quickly spoke, trying to defend himself.

Boss, I was wrong! I was foolish and shouldn’t have listened to Leland and Viper’s nonsense and betrayed the police station! I was wrong, truly wrong!!

Sheriff wasn’t angry and continued to ask, "I’m curious, what kind of conditions could make you betray our police station? I believe I have treated my subordinates fairly, haven’t I?"

The traitor’s lips trembled slightly, but he still revealed the truth. "They promised to help me get the beautiful anchorwoman I had my eyes on and send her to warm my bed."

Scorpion couldn’t hold back his anger and kicked him forcefully. "You betrayed the organization for a woman? You’re unbelievable!"

Sheriff paused for a moment and then laughed. "You betrayed the organization for an anchorwoman? Hahaha, that’s ridiculous!"

Then, Sheriff’s anger erupted, "Because of you, I lost Colossus and Fire Wolf, two of my top generals! Because of you, the police station suffered heavy losses of supplies! I could kill you a hundred times and still not satisfy my hatred!"

It was the first time Sheriff had been so furious, but it was not surprising. After all, just like Scorpion, Colossus and Fire Wolf had followed Sheriff for many years. Seeing their tragic deaths, Scorpion was just as heartbroken.

After taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly to calm his emotions, Sheriff said, "Scorpion, take this traitor away and deal with him the old way!"

"Yes!" Scorpion responded and escorted the traitor out of the conference room.

The "old way" was a punishment they had used in the old world. It involved tying the person to a wooden stake and continuously hitting their forehead with a hammer.

At the beginning, it might not be too painful, but over time, the skin and bones on the forehead would be crushed, and the pain would become unbearable. Most people couldn’t endure it and went insane midway.

After Scorpion left with the traitor, Sheriff instructed, "Inform the other brothers to prepare and get ready to move to the villa area to exterminate 10086!"

They all agreed and left the conference room to gather the elite forces of the police station.

Sheriff sat back in his seat, lightly tapping the armrest, making a thudding sound like a hammer. He also wanted 10086 to taste the same feeling.
