Fated To The Dark Alpha
Chapter 197. It depends
At Ghora,
Everyone laughed when they saw their Alpha being pinned to the ground by their Luna. She had a smirk on her face and he smiled helplessly. He had to admit that she was stronger than he had thought her to be. Her strength was unexpected and it caught him off guard but he did not feel bad that he was being pinned by her, rather, he was impressed and pleased. This was their first time testing each other’s strengths and he was happy about the outcome of it.
"I admit my defeat," he said with his hands over his hand on the ground. Her hands were placed on his chest and her legs were on either side of him. "I am proud," he said and grabbed hold of her thighs "But don’t think you will be so lucky next time,"
She peeled his hand off her and got off him. "We shall see," she said and pulled him up to his feet.
"You like that don’t you," Levi asked, standing behind Emily and watching her laugh at the outcome of the match. She nodded and turned to look at him.
"It is funny because everyone expected Alpha to win but it cake the other way," she said and placed his hands around her and she leaned into him. "I was going to don’t have to you, pin you like that," she emphasized that last four words.
"Good thing I was away then," he said and she chuckled.
"Lucky you," she said. The atmosphere around them was warm and cozy, looking as if they were in a different time zone from the rest of the people. The sound of his phone ringing pulled them back to the same time as everyone else.
He frowned but still pulled out the phone. Before coming here, he had made sure that the only one able to call him or the Alpha was Mateo if he could guess it was just something of importance.
He picked up the call and placed it on his ear but still not letting go of his mate. He knew she could hear what was being said too.
"Alpha Ramiel is on his way to you, let Alpha know," were the first words that came from Mateo which made Levi tug his brow in confusion. The make sounded familiar but he couldn’t remember where he heard it before.
"Alpha Ramiel?" he asked.
"The Alpha of the Desert Pack, Zack, and Luscious found them and they are on their way to Ghora," Mateo explains.
"Got it, I will let Alpha and Luna know of this," Levi said and after a few more words, the call came to an end. "Let’s go and give out report love," he said and took her hand leading her towards Darren and Kora.
"Desert pack? I have never heard of it before," she said. It was weird to her that there was a lack that she was unknown to. But even after their travels, she heard of the pack.
"There are very few people who know about them but they are warriors that should not be underestimated," he informed and she could only nod her head.
They got to where Darren and Kora stood and waited while Darren gave some instructions to the shifters that came with them. It was only after he was some said they made themselves known to them.
"Alpha," Levi called, garnering their attention. "Luna, well done beating him up," he said and Kora laughed. She was in a good mood.
"Thank you," she said and got a thumbs up from Emily and a "We will talk later," hand sign from her.
"What do you want?" Darren asked, annoyed at the fact that he was being ignored after he was called.
"Mateo called Alpha" Levu said and the annoyed look on Darren’s face changed and became serious. "He said Alpha Ramil is on his way here, they have found Desert Pack,"
"How long until they are here?" Darren asked. His mood was completely changed from what it was earlier. He was angry at the back that was why he had sent the hunters to find them and now he was told that they were coming to him here.
"I am not sure Alpha, but they are being escorted by the hunters here, so I am guessing soon," Levi replied.
While their conversation was going on, Kora as Emily just stared at them, Emiky at least had an idea of what they were talking about but Kora had no clue what they were talking about.
"Have someone go and bring them to me," he said and took Kora away. She could sense the change in him and knew he was not pleased with either the visit or the guests themselves.
"What is wrong?" she asked while they walked back to their room. "What is the Desert Pack and why are you annoyed because they are coming?"
"A pack from another continent," he said and she gave an "Ohk," to him before he continued. "They disappeared without a trace for almost two years now and I have been searching for them, it is only today that the hunter found them," He explained and she finally understood the reason for his anger and annoyance.
He was the Alpha of Alphas, it was his right and duty to know everything major that happened in every pack under him but they did not inform him about anything and he had to go searching for them. It would appear as if they no longer consider him as their Alpha thereby breaking an oath that was taken by them to him.
"You won’t kill anyone would you?" She asked to stop in her steps because he was driving too fast and she found it difficult to keep up with him as they walked. He was angry and it showed in his demeanor.
He stopped realizing why she did. "I am sorry," he said and they began walking again, much slower this time. She nodded and asked again,
"Will you kill anyone?"
He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "It depends," he said but got a look. "I will try not to kill anyone," he said, she nodded and entertained their fingers.
"That’s more like it," she said with a smile.
