The car came to a stop at the same place where Darren and his team stopped and they began walking into the Amazon. Alpha Ramuel looked at the two hunters with suspicion especially as they seemed to engage in a mind link most of the time but he pushed off any ill thought from his mind.

The Supreme Alpha must already know that use was seeking an audience with him and if anything happened to them along the way, those two would not be let off easily. He studied the place they had been brought and he didn’t understand why the Supreme Alpha would come here. There were nothing but trees and grasses all over the place and it seemed to be getting colder the more they walked inside the dense forest. This place was cold compared to where they come from but it was bearable. They’ve had colder nights than this.

Those with him had already questioned him many times if he was sure they were not being led to their deaths but he has continuously assured them not to worry although he also had his doubts.

Unknown to him, Luscious and Zack were busy discussing the mission that they had been given, to find the Rogue Alpha. They were told that it was a matter of utmost confidentiality so they could discuss this casually and audibly too.

When they got to the spot where Kora had gotten rid of the humans, they stopped and Alpha Ramiel’s aura burst out in annoyance. But only had not been taken to where the Supreme Alpha was, now they were in a place similar to a slaughter.

"May I know why there is blood here?" he asked, taking a defensive stance but the two hunter-wolves in front of him only gave a glance at him before they walked further to inspect what was before them.

"The event is still in the air," Zack said and squatted down. He touched the blood and it was dry but it was obvious that it happened a few hours ago.

"Do you think Alpha Knows?" Luscious asked, too, joining Zack in the same spot.

"He should, human walking into his territory without his knowledge is impossible," Zack replied.

Right now Ramiel felt like he was an insignificant being standing there and hearing them talk. But the mention of Alpha gave him hope and assurance that they were going in the right direction and would soon be meeting Alpha.

They heard footsteps approaching and they stood up and looked ahead if they guarded. What if the humans were still around somewhere?

"Isn’t your aura affecting them?" Zack asked and tilted his head lower lower-ranked shifters standing behind him. He slowly retracted his aura and he could hear a sigh of relief from behind him. He shut his eyes, he had let his emotions get the best of him almost harming his subject but it did not affect those whom he was aiming for.

"Now focus, all you," Luscious said and they all nodded. After a few seconds passed by, they hadn’t caught the scent of any human but that of shifters. Instead, they relaxed again and started moving in that direction.

The two shifters whom Levi had sent to receive and bring them in came into view and they were instantly recognized by Zack and Luscious. After some exchange of words, they all continued on their journey and soon arrived at Ghora.

Alpha Ramiel and his people stared at the place they had come to see with awe. How could such a place be built in the middle of nowhere? Was this the Ghora he had been told of? He almost found it unbelievable. It was like a different pack on its own. They could see men and women and even children all over the place. Though the children were few, they are still there.

"Alpha and Luna are waiting for you inside," the warriors who had joined them later said and led them to the apartment where Kora and Darren stayed. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

"Luna!?" He was taken aback, since when did the Supreme Alpha have a Lyna by his side? Perhaps they have been in hiding for too long, he thought.

The people leading them just looked at him wondering what hole he crawled out of. "Yes, Luna, don’t keep them waiting," he replied and led the way.

"Let’s go," Ramiel said to his subordinates. He could feel the Alpha aura coming from inside and he was more than relaxed now but at the same time, he heard the unknown. He knew how bad the supreme Alpha’s temper could be but he moved ahead anyway. What could he do now, he was already here if there was no chickening out.

They went inside and found Darren and Kora sitting side by side with Kora holding his arm as if trying to stop him from doing something rash. He swallowed at the thought of that.

"Alpha, Luna," they said with a bow of their heads. Kora nodded but Darren stared at Ramiel with red eyes which made the Alpha sweat a bit.

Zack and Luscious, you may excuse us for now," Darren said and the duo bowed and left the room but not before giving another bow. "You are the Alpha that I know," Darren said to Ramiel.

"It was my father whom you had met in the past Alpha," Ramiel said as released his aura to protect those with him. The aura pressure in the room was too strong for them.

"Where is he?" Darren asked. He increased the intensity of his aura and Ramiel dropped to his knees along with all those he was shielding.

[" You will suffice them to death even before you can answer all your questions at this rate,"] she said to him through the mind link. ["Release them,"]

["You care about him?"] Darren asked her back. Why would she ask him to release them when they deserved what he was doing to them right now?
