"What are your names?" Kkra was the one who asked. Besides the Alpha speaking, everyone else had been quiet the whole time, besides the fact that they were asked to speak, they were frightened by her mate’s presence.

They looked startled at the sudden question thrown at them. Though she looked to be the same age as them, they had learned not to underestimate anyone in power especially the mates before them.

"I am Leopold, Luna," the lion shifter said.

"I am Wyatt, Luna," the other said and Kora nodded.

"Are there any others like you out there?" she asked. There had to be more right, or was it possible that their race had been wiped out? She found it near impossible that that should be the case.

They were silent which was enough to pass the message to her and she did not know what else to say to them or ask anymore.

"We have taken the liberty to go out and find them but no one was found, Luna," Alpha Ramiel said and she could only nod her head.

"That is alright, You’ll both stay here," Darren said, taking them by surprise.

They thought he would hand them over to a pack to watch over them not to ask them to stay here. Though they didn’t know where this was, they knew that there was Alpha here to guide the people that stayed here, was he really letting them stay here? They say his eyes glazed over and soon a warrior came into the room.

"He will take you to an apartment where you will stay, but before that, I want to see you shift," he said again and they looked at Alpha Ramiel who gave a nod of encouragement.

"Yes, Alpha," they said and stood and took off their shirts. When they got to the pants they became hesitant because of the presence of Kora and she wondered why they were shy. Nudity was nothing new to shifters.

"Shift," Darren ordered and that was all that was needed for them to discard the rest of the clothes on them and shift.

They stood in on all fours now while they were being expected. The warrior who had been called was shocked at the sight of them, never expecting other types of shifters to exist in the world like them. But then it was not strange that there should be more shifters and other creatures that were still unknown to them, after all, they as werewolves lived in the same world as humans.

They paced around for a while before sitting and waiting for the next orders.

"That is all, you can shift back," he orders again and they shift back to the human skins. "From now on, you will pledge loyalty to me and your Luna,"

"Understood, Alpha," they replied, having no issue with it. As long as they had a place to stay away from the humans and would have the chance to get back at them and get even for the hard hat pain they had put them through, they didn’t have an issue with bowing to the lycan Alpha, at least they were not vampires who wouldn’t completely understand where they are coming from and the pain of losing loved ones a shifter.

"You answer only to me and no other alpha," Darren added.

"Yes, alpha," they said again.

He took out his phone and called Mateo. "Have Lucunda come to me immediately," he said when the call was answered.

"Yes, Alpha," Mateo said and the call ended.

In less than a minute, Lucinda was standing in the same room that they were seated in. Her appearance there came as a surprise to the others who didn’t know that witches were working with him. "You called for me, Alpha," she said and smiled when she spotted Kora next to him. "Luna, I missed you already,"

"You are here now, stay," Kora said and Lucinda beamed before looking at Darren and her smile disappeared. He wouldn’t let her stay.

"I called you here for a reason, Lucinda," Darren said and she pouted. "I won’t you do something for me. They will take an oath and you will seal it with a spell," He said. Lucinda looked surprised as to why he would do that. That was not needed even when the other alphas were forced to pledge loyalty to him so why was it needed now?

"Why?" she asked out of curiosity.

Darren frowned but Kora replied, "They are different from us, he is a lion shifter and he is a tiger shifter, it is necessary,"

"Really!" Lucinda’s eyes were as wide as spacers when she heard that, she quickly walked over to them, looking up and down as if to see what they were just by doing that. After a while, she stopped her inspection and then nodded. "I am ready," she said.

And Darren called them to come forward towards him and they did.

The words from earlier were repeated and Lucinda used a spell to bind them to their oath. This was necessary to keep them in check even in the future, they were wolves so they could not be controlled the same way as the werewolves were.

"It is done," she announced, and let out the hands that she held. She had Darren’s hand and then the other two as she bound them to him. It would be impossible to disobey an instruction from him and also do something that would harm the werewolf race unless they were rogues who had come to harm them or just in self-defense.

"Take them with you, they will stay here from now on," he said to the warrior who had been standing silently at the corner beside the door watching as the whole thing unfolded. "Go with him."

"Thank you, Alpha," they said. They are finally part of something and under the protection of someone whom they know that no one could disobey.

"Alpha Ramiel, one problem has been taken care of," he said and the Alpha smoked in gratitude. "For the other, I will have someone go with you to accompany what is left of your pack to safety. Come and take over the territory of the Silver Moon Pack."

I have decided to end Fated To The Dark Alpha as soon as possible to create time for me to write my other ongoing Novels. As you all already know, I am a student and my time is limited.
