At Blood Moon pack.

"I contacted the library, and I got this." Ezra said and dropped a pile of books on the desk, "The librarian said it has the history of the pack written down in here."

"All of this?" Raven asked looking at the pile of books on the table.

"Yes," Ezra answered.

"This is ridiculous! How are we supposed to finish this within a day?" Raven said and glared at the books.

"I know you hate books but you don’t have to glare at them like that," Ezra said and eyed the books as well, he also didn’t want that much but they have no other choice. "Especially if it is the only way of finding what we are looking for." He looked at where Lazarus was sitting the seat was now vacant, "Where is Lazarus?"

"He went to check on Dana and the girl,"

Raven replied still staring at the books with a deep frown. "Get the Liberian to come and give a summary of all these books instead of having to read them all. She should have read them all by now."

"You call her, I am tired and need to rest," Ezra said and sat lazily in a chair. "I’ll sleep for a little while, wake me when Lazarus gets here." He said and closed his. He dozed off immediately after it went shut. Raven could only get angry being left alone to deal with the things. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

"How is she?" Lazarus asked when he walked into their room and found Dana pacing back and forth again like she did when she thought Kora was missing. "What is it? Are you hurt?" he asked after seeing them sleeping peacefully on their bed. He walked up to her and held her shoulders so she would stop moving.

Dana stopped moving and started fidgeting and fiddling with her clothes. Lazarus held her close he leaned over and kiss her lips gently, "Tell me what is bothering you. I will hear you." he said as he caressed her cheek dotingly.

Looked up and met his gaze. His was soft and tender, he looked at her with patience as he waited for her to speak. "Lazarus..." She called

"Mmm," he answered still caressing her cheek. "Go on, I am listening." he encouraged her. What it was, he could tell it was important to have gotten so worked up.

"What if... What if I was... I have been hiding something from you, will you still want me?" Dana asked, she was having difficulty looming at his face she was at his ears instead. It was much better and less intense.

Lazarus was still calm as he looked at her as if what she said didn’t bother him. "I will always want you, Dana, you are my mate." He said and guided her to the couch and made her sit on his lap. "You will always be my mate no matter what happens or what you are hiding from me."

Dana met his gaze and she could feel the sincerity in his words. She felt warm in her heart but still nervous. What he wanted to tell him was something that he might end up being mad at her for a long time. She knew how much he hated the spell casters that was why she could not tell him this. She kissed him and he smiled at her. "I hope you won’t be too angry when you hear me." She said in almost a whisper.

"I promise...."

"Don’t promise me, just hear me first." She stopped him before he could make a promise that she knew he would most likely break after hearing what she wanted to tell him.

Lazarus was quiet. He was also starting to feel a bit antsy as he thought of what she was going to say to him. "What you want to tell me, who else knows about it?" he asked, very calmly

"Besides me, there is only one other person," Dana said and looked at the sleeping. Kora. With that, Lazarus knew who she was talking about.

He nodded and kissed her forehead. "If it is difficult for me to say it now, I can wait, tell me when you are ready," he said and kissed her. He cupped the side of her face with his hand and deepened the kiss. "Take your time, I won’t be mad," he said after breaking from the kiss. "I have to go now, there is something that I need to find out."

"Is it about Kora and the cave?" Dana asked after catching her breath.

"Mmm." Lazarus hummed in response.

"Can I come? I want to help." Dana requested. She beamed when Lazarus nodded. She kissed his cheek and stood from his lap, "Let’s go then," she said pulling him along with her.

When they got to the door, Lazarus stopped and looked back inside at the sleeping Kora, "Make sure her room is ready before nightfall or you get her another room."

Dana giggle lightly and nodded before pulling him once more. "Sure." She said and shut the door.

At ShadoMoonon pack.

"The investigation report is out, Alpha," Mateo reported. As if now almost all the guests were gonna and returned to their various packs.

Those that were left were people from distant packs who needed rest after traveling from afar they were given rooms in the pack house to stay the night.

"Let me hear it," Darren said. From the look on his face right now it was safe to say that he was still furious but trying hard to control his beast from charging to the BlooMoonon pack and wreaking havoc there.

Mateo sat down and glanced at his Alpha for a moment and began reporting. "The BlooMoonon pack was attacked by midnight." he paused and looked at Darren whose brows were raised in askance. "Alpha Lazarus planned to come to the ceremony but he changed his plans at the very last minute." Mateo continued.

"Who attacked his pack? Everyone was here." Darren asked.

"The same people who attacked the Crescent moon pack a week ago," Mateo responded.

"Why?" Darren asked.

"We still don’t know, alpha, but we are working on it," Mateo answered.

"Casualties?" Darren asked. His anger from before was slowly dissipating and he did not know why.

"Minimal. It seems he was aware of the attack and that was why he canceled his plans to come here." Mateo said.

"How was it possible that he was aware of the attack? Did someone leack the information to him?" Levi who has been silent finally spoke.

"I don’t know that. That information was kept away even from the pack members?" Mateo said and sighed.

"We leave for BlooMoonon pack tomorrow," Darren said and stood from his seat and walked away.
