Alpha Julio got to the Blood Moon pack a few minutes later and was escorted by a pack warrior. He was taken directly to Alpja’s office because that was where he was asked to take him.

"Alpha," he said looking at Darren, when he nodded, he looked at Kora beside him and now too, "Luna," he said and looked at Emily who, who was immediately flustered, waved her hand, and the man nodded.

"Alpha Lazarus and Luna Dana," he said, acknowledging the presence of the pack leaders.

"Alpha Jolio," that was all that Lazarus said, and the great were all given a nod of acknowledgment.

"What happened that you couldn’t wait to see me?"

"The humans have a new base," he said, without minding who heard him. They all knew what he was talking about and they were all in it together. "It is at Snow Town. They are moving fast. Very fast, at the speed at which they are moving, they will launch an attack soon," he said and everyone frowned.

They were not expecting goodness from him but did it have to be this bad? This thought ran through everyone’s mind.

All eyes shifted to Darren who was seated there without speaking. It was as if it had become an instinct to turn to him for answers and even Lazarus did that too but that did not surprise Darren, it was something he was used to, being the one to give them all the answers even when he needed one himself.

He remained silent in thought and the office stayed as silent as him.

"We finalize our plans too," he said and Alpha Julio nodded.

"Understood, Alpha, I will inform everyone about this," he said, but Darren stopped him.

"Leo would do that, return and start yours," he said and then smiled and nodded. A load of work.had been lifted off his shoulder.

"Thank you, Alpha," Julio said in gratitude. "Alpha," he called and Darren felt a headache coming. "The vampires from Snow Town came to my pack asking for a piece of land to reside in."

Kora was the first to frown because Dmitti never mentioned anything like this to her. What happened to the Vampire territory?

"Why? They have their territories," Darren asked but Julio remained silent unable to answer that question. "You will come with me to the Vamlire territory," he said because this should have been discussed with him not just Alpha Julio. The vampire lord should have come to him and spoken to him about this.

"Understood, Alpha," Julio replied.

"You can head back, we leave tomorrow," Darren dismissed him. He could tell the was something that Lazarus wanted to say but was holding so he wouldn’t leave until morning. That way, there would be enough time for them to discuss. He was his father-in-law after all.

"Thank you," with that, Julio left the Blood Moon Pack and headed home. He had asked the vampires to wait so he could speak to Darren about this or the might be trouble if he was to find out about it from another person. Who knows how many people would go to report to him? It was better that he had told him this now that it had just happened.

Though he did think it would be good to start an alliance with the vampires because that would prove helpful for the coming dangers, he could not make that decision on his own. The Supreme Alpha and the Vampire Lord had to agree to it for it to work.

"That was unexpected," Dana commented bringing life back into the silent room. Who would have thought that there would be a day when the course would turn to the shifters for help?

"Perhaps it is time for an alliance?" Emily said and everybody except Kora, gave her the looks. It sounded strange that a shifter and a vampire should work together.

"It’s not a bad idea," Kora said and it was now her turn to be stared at. "They are in the sale situation as we are, we can push our differences aside for a moment and work together," she stated.

"Have you ever heard of that happening before?" Ezra asked with a raised eyebrow. They had to know if that had happened before what the outcome was and why we’re they at each other’s throats now.

"Yes," it was Gaia who spoke and they all could feel it from her aura. Whenever the beast if a shifter spoke or was on the surface, the weight in their aura was always stronger. Their human form could suppress their aura to the max but the best couldn’t.

"When was that?" Darren asked. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

"In the last when the humans revolted," she replied They looked at her not understanding what she was saying. If didn’t know that was an old beast reincarnated with her memories, they would believe a thing she said.

"When the humans first revolted?" Rosie asked what was in everyone’s mind.

"Mhm," she hummed in deformation. "In the past, the humans already knew about us and we lived without having to hide, that was until the humans turned on us, devising ways to kill whoever was not like them. We had to flee and hide as well as defend ourselves from the sudden and unprecedented attack. The spell casters were burnt for a while the shifters and vampire were staked and their remains were burnt as well. It was also then that the Spell Casters got the name, Witches, they say their acts were not from the gods but the Devils, so they became known as switches since then. All witches suffered the same fate and so did the shifters and vampires. An alliance as most and that was what happened, we united and fought off our enemies and the goddess made it possible that we should be forgotten by the humans," she said telling them a short and forgotten history.

The office fell silent again as they all processed and absorbed the new knowledge that they were unaware of.

"So there is a possibility that we can unit again?" werewolves and vampires along with Spell Casters?" Raven asked.

"Shifters are more than just the werewolves, Beta Raven," Gaia said and they frowned. "We need to find the others," she said and poked at her mate. "You have already day seen the Lion and tiger shifters, this should be that lunch of a surprise to you right, mate?" she asked and he nodded.

"Yes," he replied.

"They are more out they and they are also in danger, find the others," Gaia said, giving out an order. There was something that they felt after she said that which they had never felt before. It was as if they could not afford to disobey her as they all bowed and said,

"Understood," at the same time. It was after this that they realized what had just happened and they looked at her but she had retreated leaving only Kora behind.

What they don’t know is that, as the first shifter that was created and the first Mystic wolf, she had the power to control them if she wanted to and they could not disobey her. Not even a lycan.

Even Rosie was not spared despite being a human. She has pacted with a wolf pack and was marked and mated by a werewolf, she was no different from the other shifters except that she did not have a wolf.
