Fated To The Dark Alpha
Chapter 30. Strong and invisible force
"Do you know who your parents are?" Lazarus asked. He wanted to know this. She has never spoken to him about her parents before since the last three years that they found each other and have been together. He never asked because he thought she was uncomfortable discussing that topic and didn’t want her hurt but things were different now, her powers might concern them too.
Dana was not surprised to hear him ask that. Anyone with a brain should be able to think about that or something similar after what she had said. "No. I don’t know who my parents are but I don’t think they weren’t shifters, someone from my former pack would have known." She answered and he nods. "Lazarus, I am sorry. I am sorry I didn’t tell you about any of this." She gripped his arm and looked at him with tears in her eyes.
"I don’t like the fact that you hid something away from me, but I am not angry, Dana." He caressed her cheek before tugging a strand of hair behind her ear. "I understand your fears, but you should have known that I am not that heartless to reject my mate, I could always compromise like I am doing now."
"I am so, so sorry, my love," Dana said as tears fell from her eyes rolling down her cheeks. "It won’t ever happen again." How could she have been so heartless to fear her mate after knowing his much he cared for her? After knowing how much he loved her? She was regretful for not sharing it with him and also angry at herself but they were nothing that she could do now. "I am sorry."
"I know." He said and wipe her tears with his thumbs. "I know you are." He higher her drawing circles on her back in a soothing motion. "Don’t cry, Babe, I know you are."
Dana pulled away and stared at his face for a moment before slamming her lips against his in a passionate kiss which Lazarus returned with equal passion. They moved from just kissing to doing more and the next they knew, they were both on the bed breathing heavily with their bodies bare under the bed covers.
"Thank you," Dana said with her head resting on Lazarus’ chest and her fingers drawing circles on it while Lazarus combed her hair with his fingers. "Thank you for not being mad at me."
"Mm." Lazarus hummed with a nod of his head.
"I love you," Dana said and closed her eyes to sleep feeling exhausted.

Kora and the gang had just arrived at the pack house and were all gathered in the living room. Raven’s mind linked Ezra to know where he and Lazarus were and he found out that Lazarus was still inside the house, probably talking with Dana about what they had seen earlier.
"Why are you all still here, shouldn’t you be going now?" Raven asked. He frowned when he saw Darren and his people sitting down in a relaxed manner. "Take your people and leave. I will see you out." He said again when those who had left them at the school earlier joined them.
"Shouldn’t that be your alpha’s job? Why are you the one seeing us out?" Lucy questioned with annoyance, she had had enough of his attitude and was not the only one with a temper, okay? "The Alpha supreme is in his pack and he can’t even come and see him out and only send his underling to do his bidding."
"This pack needs to learn a thing or two about hospitality." Lucinda chimed in folding her hands across her chest arrogantly. "I have said this before and I will say it again, such poor hospitality."
While they were busy arguing with themselves, Emily tugged on Kora’s arm. "What is it, Emily?" Kora asked no longer listening to the noisy people. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"Why are they so many new people in the black house, do you know them?" Emily asked. She thought since Kora was new before, these people were like her and she knew them. "Will they take you away?"
"I didn’t know them," Kora said and pulled Emily with her. "And I am not going to go with them even if they asked me, because I don’t know them."
"Ooh," Emily said and was relieved to hear that Kora was not going away. "That’s good then, we can play together." She said almost jumping. "Where are you taking me?" She asked when she saw Kora taking towards the back door.
"To a place I found, it is beautiful in there," Kora answered and Emily’s eyes sparkled at her words. "It is here in the back," Kira said and pushed open the door.
At that moment, Lazarus came downstairs and saw where Kora was leading Emily he didn’t think much about it until he heard her feel Emily that it was a place she found and it was at the back. There was no place in the pack house that Emily could not know except the cave. He looked at Darren who was seated with his escorts and excused himself. He left ignoring the grumbling coming from behind him and went after the children. He wanted to see how Kora would get in and if she could take someone else with her.
On the side, Raven could more or less guess the reason why Lazarus went after the little annoying old woman. While Lucy and Lucinda thought it weird and followed him. They hit there and saw Kora walk into the cave normally with no restriction but when Emily tried, she could not. There appears to be an invisible force field that blocked her keeping her out of the cave.
They also saw Kora come back and took Emily’s hand and led her in before Emily was able to enter the cave. Lazarus seems to have gotten the answer to his question. Only Kora could enter the cave while all others could not and can only get in if being led in by Kora or maybe someone like Kora. Now, the lion dollar was, who was Kora?
Lucy and Lucinda also saw the scenes from behind Lazarus and were stunned. What was in the cave? They approached the cave faster than Lazarus could stop them and growled at them. When they tried entering the cave, they were knocked down by a strong and invisible force. The force was so strong that they flew a few feet back falling to the ground.
They were beyond shocked. They looked at the mouth of the cave with open mouths and Lazarus smirked when he watched being knocked down. Even though he was surprised, what happened to the witches was satisfying enough. He now understood why he saw black dust at the cave’s mouth the first time Kora went in there. The cave burned her pursuers. "If you are done here, be the guest you are and get the hell out of my backyard." he barked at the women who were still shocked by what they just experience. He was glaring at them like he. Wanted to kill them with his gaze.
They were spell casters but the force that knocked them down was not a spell but it was more powerful than any spell they had ever been up against. Now they were even more intrigued about that little girl, Kora.
"Lucy, what just happened?" Lucinda asked still in disbelief.
