"Lucy, what just happened?" Lucinda asked, still in disbelief. How was that even possible? What was in the cave? Multiple questions ram wild in their heads that they didn’t hear what Lazarus. They were snapped back to reality when a dangerously low growl erupted from Lazarus because he was being ignored.

These witches were getting on his nerves, he had accumulated them long enough and they dared to wander around his pack and house as they liked.

Hearing the growl from him, they turned instinctively only to meet his pitch-black eyes staring at them. He looked like a predator before his prey and took a step forward, stalking them. "LEAVE. NOW!" He snapped. His aura rolled off him and surrounded the entire backyard which forced the women to stand up and move away. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

The aura that he let out was strongly reminding them that he was the strongest werewolf alpha alive. It alarmed the people inside as they rushed toward the backyard. They stopped seeing Lucy and Lucinda walk in unharmed and sighed in relief, especially those who came with Darren.

Ezra who had just arrived at the pack house after torturing and locking up the rogue approached him with Raven in tow. They saw just how pissed he looked and dared not act recklessly. They stood in front of him and bowed, showing their necks to him. "Alpha!" They said in unison.

Lazarus looked at them and turned his gaze to the people at the door and growled at Darren and his people. Lazarus’ aura had attracted even his pack members. It was not every day Lazarus would use his aura to subdue someone as everyone in the pack was smart enough not to provoke him. The Alpha.

The pack members followed Ezra and Raven’s lead and bowed, showing their necks to their Alpha saying "Alpha!" in unison even though they had no idea what triggered his anger. Lazarus scanned the people and his eyes rested on the two witches and directed his aura towards them and they took a step back.

Seeing the predatory steps of Lazarus, Darren stepped forward and stood in front of Lucy and Lucinda since they were his targets. He did not know what had happened in the short period that they had been here but he could not let Lazarus hurt his witches, they were of use to him.

"You speak of poor hospitality from me and my pack," Lazarus said, his voice sounding cold and different from his usual voice and one that came with much authority in it. "Yet as guests, you know not your boundaries." From his voice, they knew his beast was speaking along with him. He stopped right in front of Darren who was shielding Lucy and Lucinda behind him. "Get out of my way, Alpha Darren."

"I am afraid I can’t do that, Alpha Lazarus," Darren says still standing in front of Lazarus. "They are my people and I must protect them." He said and let his aura roll off him as well. The two auras colliding made the lower-ranked shifters tremble from their impact. It was too strong fit them to bare and fell to their knees. "Tell me what they did and I will punish them accordingly." Darren did not Lazarus to harm which he knew he certainly would if given the chance to do so. Lazarus’ hate for witches was not something new to them and now that he has been provided by two, he would with no doubt do something to them.

Lazarus looked past Darren glaring at Lucy who still stood arrogantly even when she knew how dangerous the situation was. She was ready to use her spells if that was what it will take. She gave a see glance at her sister who got the message and readied herself.

’Leave!’ Raven said through the mind link commanding the pack members to leave before things get out of hand. Instinctively, they all looked at him and then at their alpha before nodding and evacuating the pack house. If a fight were to break out between the two of them, it was best to have fewer people around to minimize the damage.

’Alpha, please calm down,’ Raven said to Lazarus through the link. He maintained a submissive position so as not to offend the already enraged beast of his alpha. He wondered what Dana was doing that she has not yet sensed her mate’s emotions and come out yet.

As if calling her out, Dana appeared from behind Darren and stood facing Lazarus and mind-linked him. ’Babe, what is it?’ She asked moving closer to him. She stared into his onyx eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck, ’Talk to me,’ She says. She could him relax under her touch and sighed in relief.

He held her waist, ’I want to kill them,’ Dana heard Lazarus’ wolf speak to her and knew it was the one in control.

’Why?’ Dana asked. He turned and looked at the cave and Dana followed his gaze, she finally understood what had happened. She caressed his cheek and smiled, ’They are guests, let me take care of it, my love, I won’t let them near her again until they leave’. She said and tiptoed to kiss his lips.

He looked reluctant I let them off so easily but he agreed with a nod before giving control back to Lazarus. "You all should head back inside," Dana said still holding on to Lazarus he held her waist still not letting go because if he did he will surely hurt someone.

Raven and Ezra sighed thankfully that Dana was able to put a leash back on the beast before them because if he had gone berserk, it would be them who take the brunt to make sure he does not hurt others.

Darren and his people went back inside escorted by Raven and Ezra leaving the couple alone outside. Lazarus kissed Dana deeply and even bit her lip drawing blood and she gasped before he pulled away. He needed to find a way to release his anger. Using his thumb, he cleaned the little blood that stained her lower lip.

"Are you okay?" Dana asked. She was concerned about him. He nodded. "What happened?" He hugged her and closed his eyes taking in her scent
