Fated To The Dark Alpha
Chapter 33. Silver mystery pack
The next day,
Lazarus and Dana gladly bid farewell to Darren and his team with the wish to never see them again but they both knew how much wishful thinking that was as they had sealed the alliance with each other, Lazarus and his pack and Darren and the rest of the werewolf race it was a necessity that they should interact more with each other.
While everyone seemed happy to see them off and all of Darren’s people seem relieved to leave the Blood moon pack, Darren and Kora were the opposite. Kora liked him even more than some of the people she had known for a while now and she did not want him to leave so soon. While Darren was reluctant to leave because he did not know when next he would see her again but he hoped that when that happens he would be able to take her with him as he was certain that she was his other half. The one to complete him. His Luna.
They were sent off after breakfast and Kora returned to her room, there was no school today as the school was destroyed and needed reconstruction. She didn’t want to be around many people especially if Raven was among those people the man only knows how to annoy her. She had seen Lazarus, Dana, Ezra and Raven entered and sat down in the lounge area.
After they were seated Lazarus told them of what he had seen yesterday when he followed Kora and Emily to the backyard and how the witches tried following them but were stopped by an invisible force field. With the brief explanation, they could more or less grab what the cause of his anger was.
Then Dana told them what they had seen inside the cave after Kora had led them inside. None of them could understand what any of that meant but they were glad that they knew something from all that had happened, they could easily get the answers that they need with the current information.
"Alpha, Luna! May I come in?" They heard the voice of an old woman and turned their attention to her. They saw the woman standing by the door with her head bowed in submission to her leaders.
"Why are you here, Stella?" Lazarus asked the woman. He recognised her as one of the oldest members of his pack. She was among those who watched and helped him grow into the man and alpha that he was today. "Come inside."
Stella walked inside and stood before them respectfully. "Please have a seat," Dana said offering her a seat. She had heard of her from Lazarus and had grown to respect and treat her as a mother after joining the pack. The old woman sat and smile at them warmly. She gave a polite nod to Raven and Ezra.
"What brings you here today?" Dana asked.
"Last night my granddaughter told me something interesting and I wanted to confirm it myself and ask if you know about it." She said looking at the other four people in the room.
"What did your granddaughter tell?" Lazarus asked.
"She spoke about the cave at the back of the pack house," Stella said and glanced in the direction of the backyard. "She said her friend, a little girl of her age led her inside, is this true, alpha?" she asked and Lazarus nodded. Her eyes sparkled and smiled even brighter than before.
"Do you know anything about it, Stella?" Dana asked looking at Stella with expectation in her eyes.
"I do, Luna," Stella said and sat upright. She looked at Dana as if waiting for her to ask her what she knew.
Dana sighed. "What do you know about the cave?" She asked knowing full well that that was what Stella was waiting for.
"I will tell you, but first I am thirsty, I have walked a long distance to get here," she said. Everyone looked at Ezra together and he got the gist of it. They were asking him to go and get the water for her. Ezra muttered some incoherent words before stomping his way to the kitchen. He wondered why they did not call an omega to do that rather than sending him.
Soon enough he brought the water and Stella drank to her satisfaction before she started talking again.
"I will begin with the pack’s history it is the only way for you to fully understand what I will say," she said placing the glass on the table. Everyone nodded and waited patiently.
"The blood moon pack wasn’t always known as the blood moon pack," She began. They looked at her with knitted brows and she smiled. "It was known as the ’Silver Mystery pack."
She chuckled seeing their impatience written all over their faces. "An impatient mind can not eat hot porridge," She commented making Ezra sign and Dana chuckle. "Alright, I will tell you now." She said becoming serious.
Seeing her serious look they sat quietly and listen readily to listen. What she said about the name of the pack in the past was something that they had never heard of and was without knowing. It looked as if the history of the pack was wiped out a long time ago which led to the name being changed.
Yes, they have all heard of the past blood bathe that took place here before but they never knew what had caused it, now it seems as though they were about to find out exactly what that cause was. Whatever it was they knew it will involve Kora and the cave or probably be related to her and the cave since there were unable to find anything related to the cave in the record of the pack’s history and the name ’Silver Mystery pack’ was also never mentioned in the history books of the pack. They started wondering what happened then. They exchanged looks with each other before focusing back on Stella.
