"Are you playing with me?"

Marcellus Lopez suddenly realized he had been tricked once again.

The two guys in front of him were no good at all.

Indeed, this Saint Master of the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance wasn’t dead!

But instead was feigning death!

But... can he actually enter other people’s bodies?

Isn’t this something only the dead can do?

Without time for shock, Marcellus Lopez’s hand bones clenched fiercely!

With this motion, the wind and sand shrank rapidly, and the skeletons swarmed like dogs seeing a bone!

The sky over Blood Sweat Ridge began to change.

Earlier, Marcellus Lopez was fully aware of the anomaly occurring when Nine Nether True Monarch broke the sky over Blood Sweat Ridge.

This was a formation, once broken, he would be unable to move for a short period.

This meant that the secret of his armor would be exposed, and he could only watch helplessly as the two mocked him and left.

Either option was completely unacceptable to Marcellus Lopez.

While alive, he was the great General King of the Ten Thousand Mountain Alliance, overpowering Silvio Reed.

Even after death, he led his loyal followers, ruling Blood Sweat Ridge.

Turning it into a forbidden territory where no one dared to come.

This dignity, this glory, could not be trampled on.

And those two in front of him, brimming with spiritual power—if consumed, his strength would rise further.

Then, he could leave Blood Sweat Ridge and enter the real Mortal World.

He would use his skeletal army to conquer the world and continue the feat he hadn’t completed in his past!

"You’re fine," Julius Reed looked at Marcellus Lopez, raising a finger with a smile, "except you’re too confident."

"Kill!" Marcellus Lopez yelled furiously!

The skeletons rushed in madly!

The dense skeletons piled in, enough to crush a person with their sheer force!

Yellow sand filled the sky, sweeping frantically!

"I’ll leave you with no escape above or below!" Marcellus Lopez’s tone was triumphant, "How does it feel to see the exit but not be able to leave, painful right? Hope, despair—I’m honored to let you experience my past feelings."

"Sorry, as I said, you’re too confident." Earlier, Julius Reed chatted with Marcellus Lopez to gather information on the General King while also buying time for Nine Nether True Monarch and himself to recover strength.

Now, Nine Nether True Monarch tore the sky open using the telekinesis borrowed from Julius Reed.

Julius Reed sliced his finger open once more.

Golden light dispersed everything!

The skeletons turned to powder upon contact with the light.

Even Marcellus Lopez staggered back, as bones kept disappearing from his body, leaving only armor falling to the ground.

"Honestly, if we weren’t acquainted and you didn’t love women so much, I’d really think you were Emperor Azure River!" Nine Nether True Monarch and Julius Reed sprinted toward the entrance as the sky was torn open.

Watching the sky heal slowly above, the ground gradually arose.

A skull protruded from Marcellus Lopez’s armor, followed by other bones gradually appearing.

"Trying to run?"

Swiftly, Marcellus Lopez stood up slowly, raising a hand. The wind blew again over Blood Sweat Ridge, and sand swept continuously; he chased Julius Reed and the others like the wind.

"We’ve used too much power earlier, otherwise we should’ve killed him and snatched that armor." Nine Nether True Monarch said while running, "If my consciousness could reside on it, I feel my power would level up!"

"It’s not the time yet," Julius Reed said softly, "Aren’t you curious if I’m really Silvio Reed?"

Nine Nether True Monarch overheard Marcellus Lopez and Julius Reed’s conversation.

Earlier, Julius Reed deceived Nine Nether True Monarch, claiming he was Silvio Reed.

Now, Nine Nether True Monarch probably figured it out.

"Is there even a need to ask? You use others’ names for evil deeds. Silvio Reed surely has a beef with you!" Nine Nether True Monarch boasted, "Smart people don’t spill the beans, I’ve long seen through you."

As they talked, Marcellus Lopez was closing in behind.

"Caught up?" Nine Nether True Monarch felt pressure from behind.

He looked up; the sky was almost healed.

Once the formation healed, Marcellus Lopez would fully recover!

"Not a big problem." Julius Reed grabbed Nine Nether True Monarch, pushing him forward with force!

Plonk!

Nine Nether True Monarch rolled out, throwing himself out the stone gate marked Blood Sweat Ridge!

Meanwhile, Julius Reed was swallowed by wind and sand!

"You insolent thing! Die for me!"

Marcellus Lopez’s furious voice echoed across Blood Sweat Ridge.

He wanted to continue devouring Nine Nether True Monarch but couldn’t.

The stone gate was a boundary; he had no way to cross it.

Those were the rules.

As long as the formation existed, Marcellus Lopez could never break through.

"Scoundrel, your companion is dead, don’t you want revenge?" Marcellus Lopez emerged from the sand, standing at the stone gate’s edge, gradually calming down.

Having devoured one person, as long as one escaped, his secret wouldn’t be safe.

"Come inside and duel me."

Marcellus Lopez extended a bony finger, pointing at Nine Nether True Monarch.

"Revenge is a certainty." Nine Nether True Monarch’s complex gaze shook his head, "But not now. Remember, I will do what I said. I will personally twist your head off and scatter your ashes."

With that, Nine Nether True Monarch bowed deeply towards Marcellus Lopez.

"Brother Twelve, I’ve long known your identity; I will live using your identity. Except for not helping you care for your wives—

I don’t think you’d agree."

"Your legend will continue; this skeleton, I will certainly kill!"

After speaking, he bowed once more, preparing to leave.

Such fierce sandstorms mean death for anyone entering.

Except for those few true monarchs of Nine Provinces back then, or superpowers.

In the post-Martial arts era, no one could directly withstand such power.

But just as he turned around!

Boom!

The sand exploded unexpectedly!

Julius Reed shot out like a flash, landing beside Nine Nether True Monarch.

"You..."

Nine Nether True Monarch stared in surprise, momentarily speechless.

Even Marcellus Lopez stood dumbstruck.

The swirling sands behind him were now unstable.

"If you dared lay eyes on my women, that knife would have cleaved your head as I emerged," Julius Reed sheathed the Knife Abernathy and strode forward.

Crack!

As he took a step.

Marcellus Lopez suddenly fell apart.

"The fastest knife in existence isn’t Trent Marsh, but me." Julius Reed walked away without looking back.

"I’ll remember you!"

Marcellus Lopez’s voice resounded through Blood Sweat Ridge.

Nine Nether True Monarch followed Julius Reed, curiously asking, "How did you do it?"

Could the sandstorm have dispersed on its own?

"All power sources were from his armor. I dismantled its armor." Julius Reed chuckled, "Upon entering, my knife dissected his skeleton. Without the skeleton, this guy couldn’t exert the armor’s power."
