Legendary Beast Tamer: Starting With Legendary Rank Sword
Chapter 68: Are You My Successor?
After hearing what he had asked, everything instantly clicked on her.
Is this the same opportunity that Felix had been granted?
She connected it to what Felix had mentioned—dreaming about the ancestor of Moon. If he could, then he could have also dreamt the owner of his sword art, right?
In other words, she just encountered the owner of the sword art that Felix had granted to her.
She kneeled with one knee, cupped her right fist and punched it on her left palm, as she bowed deeply.
She said in a very polite tone, "Senior. It’s nice to meet you."
The man made out of white ethereal snow nodded. "My question. Please answer."
Krisha hesitated. She stammered. "I-I’m not very sure, Senior. But I am practicing a sword art called Frozen Vein Sword Art, is that yours?"
The man smiled wide. "Indeed. You are my successor. I have not spread my mortal rank sword art before, perhaps, little Ging must have given it to you.
That sword art is the only key to get access to my world."
Krisha’s heart thumped. His world? This is his?
The world was as vast as the world, where Krisha lived. If the man owned this world, then he might also be a divine entity. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
Her heart raced. She never thought she’d get to meet a man on such level. Her body trembled in excitements.
She wanted to inquire more about the man, but the words struck on her throat. Even her heart beat seemed to have echoed in her trachea.
The man discerned her reaction and chuckled.
"I wonder why you came here?"
Krisha hurriedly explained. "I-I also don’t know, Senior. I just appeared here."
The man walked in front of her. He tilted his head below, staring at Krisha’s head, drowning her with suffocating anxiety.
The man said, "Relaxed, my successor. Also, starting from now, you shall call me, Master."
"Master," Krisha instantly greeted.
The man chuckled once again. "You amused me. You’re also suitable to completely inherit my legacy.
Even that beast of yours deserve it."
Krisha was taken aback. She glanced at PengPeng on her embrace, who has been shivering not only from terror but cold...
She was also utterly surprised after knowing that PengPeng felt cold when he was born in the blizzard environment.
"Look at him, shivering from cold. His bloodline needs to be awakened."
He tilted his head upward and whispered, "Draky. Come here."
Krisha, out of extreme curiosity, couldn’t help but tilted her head upward to look for the creature that her Master called.
As she gazed at an empty skies, suddenly, it was split. A colossal white dragon appeared, flapping its wings silently.
The air seemed to have been absorbed by its wings every time it flapped, hence no disturbance below.
Once it landed, instead of staring affectionately to its master, its eyes were more distracted by PengPeng.
Krisha didn’t hesitate to bring PengPeng forward for the white dragon to have a closer look.
The white dragon stared at PengPeng with its enormous white eyes. PengPeng inevitably glanced at the white dragon despite the terror he felt.
If it wasn’t because he was assured by his master, he would not have dare to do so.
Strangely, as soon as his eyes landed at the enormous white eyes of the white dragon, he simmered down.
He could perceive how affectionate the white dragon was.
The white dragon suddenly opened its mouth and a drop of blood, the size of Peng Peng, formed out of a swirling blood coming from its throat.
The drop of blood was radiating a blinding crimson light. PengPeng felt his bloodline stirred the more he stared at it.
The man below smiled. "It seems Draky has grown fond of your beast."
Krisha glanced at the man and bowed her head deeply.
"Thank you, Master. I won’t forget this kindness."
The man chuckled. "There’s no need to do so. A Master must take care well of his disciple."
Krisha beamed a smile at him. Unknowingly, tears already crawled down of her eyelids.
The man walked closer to her and wiped the tears off of her face.
He said, "You’re very happy it seems from my gift. It’s not limited to this yet."
The drop of blood levitated forward and drowned PengPeng with it. PengPeng’s body suddenly glowed a blinding light.
So much that Krisha didn’t dare to glance at him, only relying on her soul connection with PengPeng to perceive what was currently occurring inside him.
She felt PengPeng’s body lightening, that she slowly let go of her grasp. Surprisingly, PengPeng’s body remained floating.
The man glanced at PengPeng and said, "He’s currently evolving, so it might take some time. While we are at it, it should be your turn now."
Krisha’s heart skipped a beat. Her mind turned blank.
She could finally think after spotting the white ethereal finger of the man pointed at her forehead.
As it was closing in, she thought. What is he trying to do? What I will be receiving?
Krisha did not have a slight idea at all.
As the man’s finger connected to her forehead, her mind entered an extreme euphoria.
A new set of knowledge was entering in her mind. She was unable to think for a while, her whole consciousness manifested and was deeply concentrated in embracing the new set of knowledge being granted to her.
The man, seeing Krisha’s eyes and head to be exuding a white light smiled as he let go of his finger.
Krisha’s body suddenly floated like PengPeng—beside with each other.
The man was satisfied as he gazed at them.
He looked at Draky and asked, "Will he be awakening your lineage?"
Draky glanced at him and shook his head in pity.
The man simply smiled and patted his scales.
He said, "At least, he’ll reach your level soon enough. With your primordial blood essence, he has awakened his primordial bloodline."
He glanced at Krisha and PengPeng affectionately.
He said, "If fate allows, we’ll get to meet them again not just in the state of dream."
Draky growled in agreement.
