"Me?" Seraphina Vaughn pointed at herself and then said, "Whether I’m suitable or not isn’t up to you to decide. I advise you not to entertain such thoughts. Even if you say you want to pursue me, I won’t give you any hope."

Julian Bishop said nonchalantly, "I want to try."

Seraphina Vaughn sneered, "Suit yourself, after all, some people just don’t give up until the end."

Once the matter was laid out, Seraphina Vaughn didn’t plan to linger there any longer.

She let Julian Bishop book an afternoon flight, returning to Rivia.

As soon as she got off the plane, she received a call from Audrey Sutton, and Seraphina Vaughn went straight to Audrey’s home by taxi.

Originally, a driver was supposed to pick up Julian Bishop. Julian wanted to drop off Seraphina Vaughn at Audrey’s place first and then head back to the company himself.

Phoebe King teased, "I thought the three of you were coming together as a happy family!"

Audrey Sutton: "Yeah, why didn’t Mr. Bishop drop you off?"

Seraphina Vaughn was startled and asked in confusion, "How do you guys know he’s with me?"

Flora Lane exclaimed in surprise, "Holy crap? You really went out with him? When Audrey mentioned it, I said it couldn’t be!"

Audrey Sutton: "Yeah, I was also doubtful. Just seeing my husband busy till late these past few days, I asked him, and he said Mr. Bishop suddenly requested leave to go out of town, leaving much of the work for him. Seraphina Vaughn took a bite of the snack in her hand and said nonchalantly, "Do I care if he agrees? I’ve made my point clear, I’ve already made concessions. If he dares to push his luck, I’ll leave with the child so far that he won’t see them for life."

Flora Lane: "But Seraphina, you said before you misunderstood him. We all think Old Man Bishop is pretty decent. Have you really never considered marrying him?"

Seraphina Vaughn refused without thinking, "Marry him? Not in this lifetime!"

Phoebe King chuckled, "Old Man Bishop just needed two or three days to make Seraphina compromise. If we give him a little more time, he’ll definitely tame Seraphina."
