Cynthia Ramsey’s makeup and shooting took almost two hours in total.

When she finished shooting, Miles Sterling was already asleep on the sofa.

She walked over and gently patted Miles Sterling to wake him up, laughing softly, "Got impatient waiting? Want to find a place to have dinner together tonight?"

Miles Sterling paused and asked, "Did we ever have dinner together?"

Cynthia Ramsey chuckled teasingly, "Did you even eat before? Every time you went out it was always to a bar, right?"

Before Miles Sterling could say anything, Cynthia Ramsey continued, "But I drank too much yesterday, my head is still spinning. I don’t want to drink with a man who’s of no use. We’ll find a restaurant nearby later and eat something casually. Ask me whatever you want, I’m flying abroad tomorrow."

Miles Sterling nodded and was about to get up when Cynthia Ramsey said, "You can rest a while longer, I still need to change clothes. I’ll give you a surprise later."

With that, Cynthia Ramsey turned and walked towards the changing room inside.

Miles Sterling stood up, stretching his somewhat stiff legs, propped himself on a cane, and walked out of the studio, leaning against the wall and fished out his phone from his pocket.

When he turned on the phone screen, he saw the text message from Gwen Grant sent over an hour ago: Miles, I’m going out of town for a couple of days. Remember to eat well at home, and the medication is in the inside pocket of the suit you’re wearing. I sent the rest to mom this afternoon, remember to take it on time.

After seeing the message, Miles Sterling reached into his coat’s inner pocket and indeed found a small box of medicine.

Though he felt the medicine didn’t help with regaining his memories, it did immediately relieve the frequent headaches he had been having lately.

Looking at Gwen Grant’s reminders, Miles Sterling took a deep, frustrated breath, didn’t reply, and put the phone back in his pocket.

Half an hour later, Cynthia Ramsey came out after changing into new clothes.

At the moment Cynthia Ramsey appeared, Miles Sterling froze, mistakenly thinking momentarily that the person in front of him was Vanessa.

Because Cynthia Ramsey’s dyed curly hair had become straight black hair, her heavy makeup removed, and her sexy dress replaced by a relatively conservative white dress.

Miles Sterling inexplicably mistook her for Vanessa.

Cynthia Ramsey saw Miles Sterling’s stunned reaction, smiled satisfied, and walked over to ask, "Do I look like her?"

Miles Sterling snapped back to reality, gathered his thoughts, and frowned unhappily, "Why are you dressed like this?"

Cynthia Ramsey laughed softly, "You used to ask me to dress like this, I guess it was because it made me look more like her. Wearing this, maybe you’ll remember something about her?"

Miles Sterling understood Cynthia Ramsey’s intention, and the displeasure between his eyebrows eased.

Suddenly, he felt something strange in his heart.

Although he isn’t clear about what Vanessa’s style is like now, at the moment he saw Cynthia Ramsey, his brain reacted with the image of Vanessa...

But apart from that, he didn’t recall anything from Cynthia Ramsey’s outfit.

During dinner, Cynthia Ramsey recounted to Miles Sterling about the time they spent together before.

But Miles Sterling only felt like he had listened to a story unrelated to himself and didn’t recall anything from Cynthia Ramsey’s narration.

After dinner, Cynthia Ramsey was called away by her assistant.

Miles Sterling didn’t go home, instead, he took a taxi to Riverwatch Road, searching for the bar he used to frequent...
