Chapter 1320: The Second Day of Disappearance
He realized belatedly.
Was he being treated like a servant?
Jimmy Simmons scoffed and walked away with the plate from the table.
Hannah had just gone to the bathroom to wash her hands, and on her return, she reminded Jimmy again, "And your chair."
She opened a window to clear the smoke in the room.
Jimmy withdrew his hand that was holding the chair and quickly walked up behind Hannah, "Hannah Winter, are you truly treating me like a servant now?"
Hannah turned to look at him, chuckled softly, "If you’re unhappy, then send me back."
Jimmy tugged at the corner of his mouth, "Don’t even think about it."
Hannah nodded, patted the hand he had on her arm, "Take your chair out; I need to rest now."
This was the second time she emphasized the need to rest.
It was then that Jimmy noticed Hannah’s still pale complexion and the tiredness in her eyes.
She yawned, covering her mouth, tears welling up in her eyes and a faint redness at their corners, which softened his heart.
"Hannah Winter, if I were still Vincent, would you be with me?"
Hannah said, "No."
Jimmy asked why.
He could feel that Hannah’s attitude towards Vincent was different.
At least much gentler than towards him.
Hannah turned to look at him, "I don’t have a habit of falling out of love and into another."
Jimmy chuckled self-deprecatingly and walked away.

Today was the second day since Hannah had disappeared.
Jack Stewart was the first to discover that Hannah was missing.
He didn’t call the police since it hadn’t been 48 hours yet.
Also, because Hannah was a public figure.
If paparazzi discovered this, everything could potentially escalate to an extreme.
It wasn’t the first time that paparazzi had interfered with police work, ultimately leading to a kidnapper harming the captive.
Jack soon calmed down and immediately contacted Arnold Simmons. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
However, the mansion’s staff said Arnold had gone abroad, apparently something had happened, and he was currently unreachable.
But the staff gave Jack Oliver Taylor’s contact information.
Oliver Taylor had been slow academically, but he was shrewd and now had many underlings, doing quite well for himself.
Almost the moment Jack reached out to him, Oliver mobilized his people to locate Hannah.
Of course, confidentiality was a prerequisite.
This matter absolutely could not be leaked to the public or alert any media.
As for the film crew, Jack had the assistant director and the assistant oversee them while he himself accessed surveillance footage for clues.
Jack had always been competent, so for now, no one outside knew about the situation.
The most crucial task now was to get in touch with Arnold Simmons.

In the mansion.
Golden Lotus’s appetite hadn’t been good all day long; although it tried to contact its master, there was no response from the other side.
It was like chatting mid-conversation when suddenly the other party went offline.
As instructed by Hannah, it went to find that person.
Truth be told, it had no idea if the person was male or female, but the individual seemed formidable.
Probably formidable...
Golden Lotus lay listlessly in the round dog bed, contemplating.
Big Round still bore its simple and silly expression, holding a toy in its mouth, looking to play with Golden Lotus.
Golden Lotus was annoyed by its persistence and was about to shoo it away as before, but remembering what Hannah had said, it held back.
It ought to treat Big Round, the silly dog, a bit better.
"Big Round, if one day I left, would you still remember me?"
Big Round sat on the ground, its tail excitedly thumping the earth.
