First Intergalactic Emperor: Starting With The Ancient Goddess-Chapter 378: Custom Hover Car
Xavier and Angel reached the dealership just as the large glass doors slid open. The staff inside straightened a little when they recognized Angel, and the manager hurried toward them with a tablet tucked under his arm. He didn’t waste time with small talk. He led them straight through the main floor, past rows of standard models that looked dull compared to what they were here for.
They stopped at a sealed bay at the far end of the showroom. The lights rose slowly, and the door lifted to reveal the hover car the engineers had spent three days building around Xavier’s wish list.
It sat on a raised pad, matte-black with faint blue lines running under the surface—thin, sharp, almost alive. The frame had the aggressive shape of a predator, all muscle and smooth curves, and the engine beneath it whirred with a low vibration that made the floor feel warm.
Angel crossed her arms and nodded once. "Looks better than I expected."
Xavier walked around it, taking in every edge and panel. The interior lights came on when he stepped close, giving him a glimpse of the seats—convertible frames that could flatten into a full bed, lined with memory-gel fabric.
The dashboard was clean, no buttons, only gesture controls and a small holo strip. He opened the driver door and ran his fingers across the polished trim.
"This..." Xavier said, climbing in, "...is beautiful."
The manager looked relieved. "We followed your specifications exactly. Stabilizer arrays, dual-core autopilot, extended cabin mode, reinforced plating, stealth finish, expanded seating configuration—everything you requested."
Angel leaned into the driver’s side window. "Turn it on."
Xavier pressed his palm against the ignition pad. The hover car lifted an inch from the platform and settled back down smoothly, the engines balanced so well it barely made a sound. Angel grinned and tapped the roof once.
"Let’s take it out."
They pulled out of the bay and into the open test lane. The car moved like a shadow—no resistance, no shake, just pure glide. When Xavier pushed the throttle, the lane stretched under them in a blur. Angel braced a hand against the dashboard, though she didn’t look startled, rather she looked excited.
"This is perfect," she said. "Exactly the kind of machine you needed."
Xavier nodded, eyes on the lane. "Yeah. Feels right."
When they returned, the staff gathered for the formality. The manager brought up the invoice. "Although you had said you would pay double, after internal discussions, we agreed on only thirty percent extra for express build and priority allocation. That brings the total to two billion."
Xavier didn’t argue. He approved the transfer with a scan and watched the confirmation blink on the manager’s device. Angel tugged his sleeve once they were done, and they walked out toward the hover car as the staff bowed to them in thanks.
The moment they were in the sky, Xavier switched the seats into recline with a swipe, then activated the full autopilot and privacy mode. The windows darkened from within, the world outside disappearing in seconds. The cabin lighting shifted to a warm tone, soft enough to blur the edges.
Angel raised a brow. "You didn’t even wait to get home?"
"You started this yesterday," Xavier said, pulling her closer by the waist. "I’m just finishing what you began."
She straddled him without another word, her hands sliding under his shirt as the hover car drifted smoothly along its route with no sound but the hum of engines beneath them. The seats flattened completely, giving them more room than either expected, and Angel pushed him down, kissing him hard enough to erase the rest of the world.
"So this is why you wanted bed-mode," she murmured against his neck.
Xavier answered by gripping her thighs and pulling her down on him, and whatever she was about to say turned into a moan that filled the cabin. The privacy field kept everything sealed inside as the hover car carried them across the city.
Xavier brought the hover car down in front of Nexus Tower. The engines died with a clean, low breath, and Angel fixed her hair like nothing had happened inside a vehicle moving at two hundred kilometers an hour.
They stepped out together, and by the time they reached the elevator, her expression was back to that calm, but the look she wore whenever she shifted into "public" mode was different.
Lyra and Lilia were already waiting by the entrance when they arrived upstairs. Lyra’s nose twitched the moment she saw Xavier and Angel walking side-by-side, but she didn’t say anything. Lilia greeted them with a small smile and asked if they should head out for dinner now, so the four of them went straight to Seraphina’s restaurant.
The tenth floor was already filled with people, and the news screens had Xavier’s face plastered everywhere as usual. Lyra grabbed the seat beside him before Angel could, and Lilia sat across from them, and as usual, she was doing her best not to look awkward under the attention the other tables were giving Xavier. Angel didn’t seem bothered since he had already had her fun.
Dinner moved smoothly. Lyra kept talking with her mouth full, trying to make Xavier laugh. Lilia asked small questions about his what he would do in space. Angel answered half of them for him, as if she had memorized his schedule better than he had.
When they finished eating, Seraphina approached with her usual warm smile. She didn’t say anything out loud, since the place was packed, but she leaned close when Xavier stood up.
He murmured to her, "I’ll drop by later. Midnight."
She nodded once, subtle enough that Angel and the girls didn’t notice, and then slipped away to serve another table.
Xavier walked out with the others and returned to his apartment. The moment they were inside, Lyra made herself comfortable on the couch with Lilia, grabbing snacks from the drawer as if she hadn’t eaten all day. Angel didn’t even look at them—she caught Xavier’s wrist and pulled him toward his room without a word.
The door shut behind them, and Xavier barely had time to breathe before Angel pushed him onto the bed. She didn’t bother with teasing this time. She climbed between his legs, unzipped him in one smooth motion, and freed his cock with both hands wrapped tight around the base.
"You didn’t think I was done with you, right?" she said, looking up at him as she lowered her head.
"Never."
