I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 44: You Change My Life
Time flies, and Odelia is now entering the last week of her pregnancy. She and Sean can’t wait for their daughter to be born soon. They were very curious about what their daughter would be like.
"Maybe she’ll have ginger hair like you and gray eyes like me? She’ll be one of the rare ones too," Sean said as he rubbed Odelia’s stomach.
"I hope so, or maybe she’ll have brown hair with blue eyes?"
"Oh... That would be very pretty too. I like it."
Odelia nodded and then asked about the name they would give their baby. She herself didn’t know what to name it yet, but she hoped Sean would come up with a name for their daughter.
"I’m the one giving the name? Hmn... Her name will definitely have Osbert as her last name. Should we look for a middle name too?" he asked.
"Hmn... Sure. But not too long, I’m afraid it will be difficult for her later in the future," Odelia said with a smile, waiting until Sean managed to think of a name for their daughter.
But since it was already 8am, Sean had to go to the company because he had a meeting to attend. He wanted to stay at home to be with Odelia, but he had to go because the meeting was related to a device that they were going to demonstrate at an Expo.
"It’s okay, I’ll be fine at home. I did the grocery shopping yesterday and I don’t think I’ll be going out today," she said so Sean wouldn’t worry.
"Are you sure? Too bad Megan is in Dormania for work right now. I wanted her to be with you during this important week."
"Don’t blame her, Megan has her own life too. I sometimes feel bad about bothering her to keep me company." She helped Sean into his suit and then straightened his tie.
He sighed softly then kissed Odelia on the lips. "If something happens, whatever it is, you might feel a pain in your stomach. Call me immediately, I’ll be home soon. Whenever it is, do you understand?"
"Yes, I understand. Be careful on the way."
Sean nodded his head then turned to leave the house to immediately go to the company. He wanted the meeting to run smoothly and quickly, so that he could go straight home.
Now that she was alone at home, Odelia sat leaning back on the sofa rubbing her stomach. Closing her eyes slowly.

It feels so calm and comfortable, for some reason it feels like after all this time I can feel this calmness after I came to this house.
So many things have happened to me at my current age. I got divorced but at the same time, I found a new husband who was much better than the one I let go.
I no longer need to hear them yelling at me, putting me down, let alone cursing me as if I’m the lowest human being in both of their eyes. I could rest, sleep and eat in peace without having to think about what I should do for them.
Being with Sean made me realize that there were many things wrong with my previous marriage. He also gave me a child that will soon be born. After all this time I dreamed of this day, finally a day like this will come.
Even he was willing to accept my family well, even taking the time to drive me back to mom’s house even though he was very busy.
"Hey Little One, soon you will be born and meet mom and dad in person. Before you’re born, I want you to know that your father is a wonderful person."
"He’s kind, mature and firm with his decisions. He always knows what’s best for both of us and he always takes good care of us. I feel very lucky to have found your father, even though our meeting was not intentional..."
Ohh!
I felt my baby kick me in the stomach. Did you understand what mom said, dear?
"Hehehe... Don’t be angry, even though the meeting between mom and dad was not intentional especially. Because of our first meeting, you suddenly came into my womb. I want you to know, I never felt sorry, sad or hated you. Instead, I feel happy that you chose me as your mother..."
I rubbed my stomach gently, feeling his kicks from inside. Sometimes it hurt so much, but I still felt happy because it meant he was very active.
"They always call me a disgraceful woman, a barren woman, a bad luck woman and so on. I believed all that. Mommy was so sad that i couldn’t be the perfect woman for someone."
"But... Everything changed after I met your dad..."
Sean showed me that it was all wrong, he proved to me that I wasn’t barren. He proved to me that I wasn’t bad luck. It wasn’t my fault, but those who thought too much of themselves above me.
"I really hate people like them. They can only blame others for the circumstances they’ve received. Saying things that hurt other people’s feelings, even when they get the same thing, they don’t like it."
I still vividly remember him saying that to me and it made me feel like what Sean said was true. For four years I lived with people like them. For four years I believed everything they told me.
"Take it easy, Little One. It’s over, it won’t happen again and I’ll make sure you have a much better life later."
I looked at the clock on the wall, it was still 9am. The meeting Sean went to usually lasted 2 to 3 hours. That means he’ll be back by lunchtime, right?
I’d better make something for lunch later.
"For lunch today, what should we eat? The food I’m in the mood for. Hmn... I want fried chicken with very crispy skin. It looks delicious, especially when mixed with spicy sauce. Well, I guess I’ll just cook that..."
Just as I was about to stand up from the sofa, my cell phone suddenly rang. I looked at my phone screen, and it was Megan calling.
I picked up the phone from her.
"Hello Megan?"
