Infinite Evolution: My Idle Evolution System-Chapter 318: Sub-Class of |Deadbeat Dad|!?
"You don't know your own age? Unusual. Another special quality of yours, perchance?" the Rainbow Serpent asked while analyzing Cassius's appearance, stopping at his otherworldly handsome facial features. "Your looks—they're exceptional, more so than any other non-variant or variant human I've seen before. Even I feel myself being affected by the allure produced by your physical appearance; it gives me the odd urge to tie you up and keep you next to my side forever…"
"Would that kidnapping include access to your Body Refinement Liquid?" Cassius asked, seriously considering the offer. 'Mooching is not normally my style, bu…uuttt… the benefits…'
Passing up on benefits was more out of character for him than the act of mooching…
The Rainbow Serpent blinked a few times, staring even more intently at the ridiculously handsome non-variant human. "You want my Body Refinement Liquid?" she asked plainly.
Cassius nodded. "Naturally," he said. "Although I don't know the exact rank of your Body Refinement Liquid, I know it's enough to entice and silence even people with Amethyst Bodies. And for me, that's enough to know it's definitely something I want. But if you're opposed, I understa—"
"No," said the Rainbow Serpent. "I have a proposal, one better than my previous jokes of kidnapping you. If you accept it, then I'll allot you a certain amount of my Body Refinement Liquid."
"Why only a certain amount?" Cassius asked. "Afraid that I'll gobble it all up?" he joked.
"Yes."
"...."
"You have me all figured out already, it seems," Cassius said wryly. "Anyhoo, what is your proposal? If I was willing to be your prisoner, then I highly doubt I'll deny whatever you propose."

The Rainbow Serpent raised her whole, extremely long, scaly body out of the Body Refinement Liquid pond. She then coiled up and showed off her form in all its magnificence. The rays of light shooting through the waterfall's curtain reflected off her iridescent scales, creating an array of dazzling colors that refracted in the air.
"What are your thoughts on becoming my disciple? My first disciple?" the Rainbow Serpent asked as she lit up like a disco ball, her figure quickly becoming obscured by her brilliance.
From her original several-hundred-feet-long figure, the light that enveloped her shrunk her down to a couple dozen meters, then five meters. And finally, with one more eruption of rainbow light, she shrunk to a height a little less than two meters tall.
"Well?" she repeated, her multi-colored eyes focusing on the man now standing taller than her. "Will you become my disciple? I only take into account your potential and your bone age, so whatever age you say you are is of no relevance to me."
Cassius's expression rapidly flipped through emotions. First, he was suspicious, then indecisive, and ultimately decided.
He looked down at the gorgeous, fully nude woman, his eyes glowing fiercely. Then, out of the blue, he hit the ground with a thud and knelt on one knee. "This disciple greets Master!"
For Cassius, this was the best possible choice he could make. Angering the powerful Rainbow Serpent was a possibility if he outright denied her offer. Furthermore, getting on the good side of a ridiculously strong and talented sugar mommy never harmed anyone.
It was a win-win, he'd say!
The Rainbow Serpent smiled, her new set of pearly white teeth amplifying the radiance produced by her colorful hair and eyes.
"You can call me by name," she said, a bit of pride swelling up within her. "You see, once Rainbow Serpents achieve the Diamond Body Rank, they can access their humanoid forms. This is also the rank that allows a Rainbow Serpent to give themselves a name. And though I've had no need for a name until this point—for I spend all my time in seclusion—I've now decided on a name."
"Luma," she said. "That shall be my name from this day henceforth. And you, as my disciple, can call me Master Luma."
"Understood, Master Luma," Cassius said, cupping his fists in respect. "What next, Master Luma?"
"What next?" Luma repeated with a heavenly giggle. "An angsty one you are. But worry not—you shall be training with me here from now on. I'll make sure you leave this pond as a completely different person, one who has long since shed his title as a weakling."
Cassius's heart surged with anticipation for the future. All the power-ups that would come his way! Oh, how glorious they'd be!
Just then, as if to dump ice-cold water on him, the System's irritating voice rang out:
[Oops, Dear Host! I've just come to realize that your time in the Infinite Character Development Dimension has unfortunately run out! Ooopsie, poopsie, daisy me!]
[It would seem that you have to save your cave grinding with the hot snake babe for later!]
[Initiating Return to the Ascension Tower in 3 seconds!]
'You… You sh*tty System!' Cassius cursed, knowing full well what the bastard was thinking. 'You just don't want me to become too strong for my ascension through the floors of the Ascension Tower! Can't have anything go easily for me, huh!?'
[Why, of course—you can't! Where would be the fun in that!?]
[Anyways~, your progress here is saved in a save point, so you can always come back later (when I think you're ready). Stop your bellyaching and get back to the Eternal Grind of Character Development!]
'F*ck yo—'
FWIP!
Unable to finish his curse, Cassius and his two raised middle fingers were forcefully teleported out of the Infinite Character Development Dimension. All time in that dimension froze, with its sole owner reappearing in the same spot he left while on Earth.
"Damnit," Cassius cursed, irritated to no end. "The path of a Character Developer—this is my life now, huh…?"
[Damn straight!] the System said. [With your new Character Architect Class, it has become official! You're now an eternal slave to the grind, with your only hope of escape being drugs and alcohol!!]
[Would you like to awaken the Sub-Class of |Deadbeat Dad|!? It could bring about some unexpected benefits—]
