WAWOOOOM!!

All of Cassius's Agility was instantly converted into the extremely destructive Atomic Element!

WHABOOOOM!!!

Then came the addition of his Azura Flame, Azura Flame Bangles, Azura Refinement Physique, and his Trainer Cultivation!!

The amount of power contained within his fists was astronomical! However…

"Still not enough?" Cassius asked calmly. "Fine. I'll show you something spectacular."

WALABOOOOOOOM!!!!

All of his various Bloodlines, Demon King Cultivation, Slayer Cultivation, Diamond-ranked Will, and everything else at his disposal were infused into his fists!!!

Then, with a casual hand movement, all that immense power was condensed within a single hand of his.

The power levels were off the charts insane!!

"Am I forgetting anything?" Cassius asked himself, acting as if the whole Solar System wasn't shaking because of him. "Oh yeah, how could I forget my beauties??"

Just then, a crimson-black Greatsword and Scythe materialized from thin air. Cassius caught them in his grasp, immediately sensing their extreme excitement to be back in the hands of their Master.

"Alright, alright," he said with a light-hearted chuckle. "I'm glad to have you here as well."

"Now," he continued, his icy blue gaze hardening, "what say we have a little fun to commemorate our reunion ceremony? However, since it's been far longer for me than for you, let me have more fun, kay?"

Lilith and Mora both hummed in compliance, simply too giddy right now to care about the small stuff.

"Oh, right," Cassius suddenly said, lightbulbs turning on in his head. "I nearly forgot about my new and improved Premium Training Sword."

FWIP!

Following the appearance of an intangible sword that perfectly matched Cassius's existence, the void of space felt an even greater sense of suffocation. The combined might of him and his three evolving weapons was reaching a point where, even without them moving an inch, space itself was on the verge of collapse.

"You can fly?" Cassius asked, seeing that his Premium Training Sword was dauntingly hovering over his head. "Cool. I was just debating how I'd go about using three weapons at once. Wait… are you also semi-sentient…?"

The Premium Training Sword bobbed up and down, possessing a bit of a violent 'I don't give a f*ck about property damage' kind of disposition.

"Well, that's something else," Cassius said as he smacked one hand against the other. "Okay, but seriously, is that everything? I believe so, but I honestly can't remember anymore… Hmm…"

"Oh!" He suddenly exclaimed. "My Azura Devourer Cultivation, Upgraded Fundamental Physique, and Techniques, duh!"

OOOM!!!

Following another rush of strength, Cassius reared his body back. Then, with all his muscles overworking themselves, he slashed down with Lilith and Mora, while also instructing his Premium Training Sword to cut forward.

The void between him and the barrier collapsed near-instantaneously, acting as the prelude to an explosion of blue, red, and purple light.

The light—so massive that one could clearly see it from the other side of the Solar System—lasted but a mere instant. It resided within the Solar System for so little time that barely any damage was dealt to the System itself. Moreover, of the wee bit of damage inflicted on the space around the attack's collision point, all of it was restored to pristine condition within a nanosecond.

"What…?" Cassius, struggling to find his words, dumbfoundedly stared at the unscathed barrier. "I knew the attack wouldn't do much to it, but to not even create ripples… Holy… I really am a Weakling…"

The Premium Training Sword returned to its owner, presenting him with an illusory booboo it had acquired after hitting the barrier head-on. The sword hid behind its owner, quivering in fear while peeking out at the mean barrier. Not a single bit of its past fierceness was present.

"Welp," Cassius shrugged. "Even though we wasted a whole bunch of energy, at least I was able to verify the fortitude of this space that the Ice Sovereign casually created. It also gives me a better idea of his strength."

"Although I knew it was absurd after learning that he made the VOPC Technique, I'm pretty sure I underestimated him," he continued, remembering the laid-back old man who helped him understand so much.

"To be able to create something like this place and add it to something as magical as the Ascension Tower… Just what kind of mighty existence is he really…?"

After a couple moments of brooding, Cassius recalled why he originally came out here.

"Memphis," he muttered, gazing into the vast expanse of stars portrayed beyond the barrier. "Just where have you gone off to?"

— Upon returning to Earth empty-handed —

Cassius descended from the skies with a neutral expression. His heart was still, mostly unaffected by his failed attempts at finding Memphis.

It wasn't that he didn't care—it was simply that he knew she was okay.

Wherever she was and however she got there, it was her fate to survive without his backing.

"Though, perhaps one day in the not-so-distant future, I'll see her again," he commented whimsically. "In the Higher Floors of the Ascension Tower, maybe? Finding her up there is almost 100% guaranteed if she's not down here."

But regardless of his planned Side Quests for the future up there, there was still a major ongoing event happening down below.

The Nexus Event.

Something that was prophesized by many famed Prophets, such as Baba Yaga.

It was also a natural Ascension Tower phenomenon that almost every Faction in the Tower had their hands dipped into.

As for why the Nexus Event was so popular among the Tower's denizens, the answer was a complicated one.

But to summarize—when it came time for a Floor of the Ascension Tower to experience a Nexus Event, there were often large amounts of…

…Karma.

Karma was a concept and law that functioned in a way that very few could understand. And in many places all over the Universe, it was somewhat of a currency. The Ascension Tower's Factions, in particular, sought out Karma to improve their luck.

Karma, in its essence, equated to luck.
