Capítulo 1155: Chapter 104: Divine Calamity and the Diary

The humanoid figure lunging forward was wearing a tattered spacesuit, with a completely distorted face full of hate and madness beneath the transparent visor.

“Get away, get away, you damned thing, you’re going to die here.”

“Die! Come die with me quickly!”

The stranger’s figure let out a frenzied roar at Tang Qi, accompanied by that intense divine pollution, forming a deadly warning.

If someone were rational, it would not be difficult to judge that the interior of the spaceship was full of terrifying danger, and most would choose to stay away. Many Transcendents like adventure, but they don’t embark recklessly unprepared.

Of course, this warning was ineffective for Tang Qi.

He ignored the humanoid figure lunging at him and was enveloped by gray light, “obediently” entering the spaceship.

Then, Tang Qi discovered he had become nihility.

He seemed to have become a “Transparent Man” at that moment, able to see everything before him, yet the people inside the spaceship couldn’t see him.

That’s right, at the moment he entered the spaceship, time and space seemed to have been directly altered.

The once dead silent, serene spaceship now had ten life energies, apart from a monkey and a spotted dog, the rest were humans, the first two kept in cages.

Tang Qi was sensing the technological environment completely different from the magical world while watching the scene before him.

A total of eight astronauts in uniform, five men and three women, were working while chatting.

The guide of the conversation was a rather strong blond young man.

He looked at a curly-haired, stubbly, deep-eyed, melancholy middle-aged man in the center, blinking and teasing, “Captain, have you thought of words for the landing? That will undoubtedly be a classic moment.”

“If you have no ideas, why not try mine? ‘This is a small step for me, but a giant leap for the Lomanu people.'”

“Very classic, Matthew; this sentence is worthy of your Doctor of Literature title.”

The response came from a woman with long black hair, somewhat frail.

“Captain, are you interested in giving up the landing position? How about letting the great me take on that risk?”

“Don’t dream. No one will replace the Captain in landing on Hope One Star, just like no one can seize his position as Captain of the Silence.”

“Matthew, don’t you think the name Hope One Star is too lame? That planet might suit us for our first interstellar migration; it should have a decent name, like… Beautiful New World Star?”

“Martha, accept reality; you’re terrible at naming.”

Tang Qi roughly knew he was now in a reading state.

A special book was automatically flipping pages in front of him.

The content felt incredibly familiar to Tang Qi, as if he had returned to Previous Earth’s time, watching those great astronauts’ exploration mission broadcasts as an ordinary audience.

The difference was that they were not from Earth but a strange planet called “Lomanu.”

This familiar déjà vu was not the first time.

Tang Qi long understood that Earth might indeed not exist within the boundless mystery. Still, undoubtedly, whether it was the Origin Star or other planets within the Mysterious, and some hidden knowledge, all proved that the boundless mystery might have some connection to Earth.

But for now, he couldn’t penetrate the connection, and naturally, he couldn’t return to Earth.

Tang Qi continued “reading” while quickly summarizing in his mind:

“This Silence spaceship is executing a landing mission, leaving Lomanu Planet, heading to a planet called ‘Hope One’ for exploratory landing to check if it fits the Lomanu people for interstellar migration.”

“In terms of technology, the Lomanu are undoubtedly ahead of humans by quite a distance.”

Just as these thoughts flashed in Tang Qi’s mind, suddenly, an exclamation came from inside the spaceship.

Then, the namer Martha, a beautiful blond woman, suddenly pointed to an extremely distant area outside the spaceship.

The next moment, including the Captain, they all saw an incomparably magnificent scene.

In the depths of the Universe, a star seemed to explode.

Light!

A dazzling orange-red radiance erupted, slowly yet intensely, actually reaching the limit so fast, followed by indescribable colors, brilliant to the extreme, beautiful to the extreme… Everyone was immersed in this indescribable, unimaginable scene.

But not Tang Qi; his expression changed slightly.

Even when reading books, the All-Knowing was still effective.

“Divine Entity: Nameless Divine Calamity, it is not a god; it is merely a creation attempting Ascension but failing and falling. It is formless, hateful, sorrowful, chaotic, fond of destroying life, from the shell to the soul, to even the habitat of life, repeatedly destroying, it has found a new target.”

“Boom!”

As Tang Qi read here, the incredibly magnificent scene had formed a storm, leaping across the concept of time, sweeping over the entire Silence.

In an instant, all aboard the spaceship heard whispering voices in their ears.

Richard Parker!

He was the Captain of the Silence; he felt his ears itch, as if a breeze swept past, leaving a murmur: “The game has begun.”

As he pondered whether the sound was an Illusion, the extraordinarily friendly astronauts suddenly became strangers, erupting without any warning, starting to slaughter each other.

He didn’t understand what had happened; he watched in shock as Matthew, who had a crush on Martha, tore off her clothes, bit into her skin, and dug out her heart.

He saw Andre, who loved the spotted dog, grinning fiercely while injecting poison into the cage before turning and burning the monkey to death with gasoline.

He watched as the oldest, James, wielded the fire axe and killed gentle Phoebe, dismembering him.

He tried to stop it all, but none of his efforts worked; he couldn’t knock them out or calm anyone down. Fierce smiles, screams, cries, and killings filled the spaceship known as “Silence,” as if purgatory had descended.

Life couldn’t endure prolonged slaughter, and soon silence returned.

The only surviving “human,” Richard Parker, lay battered in the escape pod.

Outside the pod door was his most admired subordinate, Matthew.

He was already dead, starved to death.

Richard began to cry, frantically beating himself and his surroundings, still not knowing what had happened.

Beside him stood a Transparent Man.

“So, this is the content of the first page?” 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Tang Qi watched the spaceship undergoing a massive change, smelling the rich scent of blood in the air, and an even stronger aroma of madness.

His eyes looked into the nihility, unfocused, because at this moment the entire Silence had been replaced by something else.

The terrifying changes that nearly drove Richard Parker mad weren’t the end.

Or, rather, whether it was the end depended on Richard Parker’s choice.

The next scene reflected in Tang Qi’s eyes was accelerated by time.

“Having lost all his partners, Richard Parker soon found that all systems on Silence were damaged. He couldn’t escape the spaceship, nor could he pilot it back to Lomanu Star.”

“Richard Parker attempted to repair it, but failed.”

“Richard Parker consumed all the food and water; his urine could not be recycled forever. He was about to die of thirst and starvation.”

“Richard Parker faced a choice. He could consume his companions’ corpses… he refused. He launched all his companions’ bodies into the depths of the universe, his self-invented Star Sea burial.”

“Richard Parker’s mind collapsed; he faced a choice. He could commit suicide; there were drugs on the spaceship for euthanasia… he refused. He wanted to die facing Lomanu Star.”

“Game, restart.”

Inside the spaceship, a voice filled with madness arose.

But aside from Tang Qi, the “Transparent Man,” no one heard it.

Including Richard Parker, as well as the other astronauts.

When that voice fell, the mummified body of Richard Parker suddenly awoke. He felt fresh air and a warm atmosphere again, saw his partners anew, and heard Martha’s “gasp” once more in his ears.

“Don’t look!”

Richard Parker’s shout was still too late; they once again looked outside the spaceship, once again fell into madness.

A similar but inevitably changing “massacre” began, and with memories of the first time, Richard Parker frantically urged himself to remedy and save.

Soon the ending was born; he once again lay in the escape pod, this time with Martha outside the door, dead from starvation.

Before starving to death, Richard conducted a Star Sea burial for them.

“Game restart!”

Again, Tang Qi heard the voice, having lost count of how many times.

Time has always been accelerating, even accumulating in fragments.

The content Tang Qi read seemed to have never fundamentally changed?

“Richard Parker attempted to stop the changes over and over… and failed over and over… continuously collapsing, starving… entering the loop.”

But during the process, some things Richard Parker once persisted in.

Like not consuming his companions’ bodies, not killing living companions, and not blowing up Silence… etc., all underwent changes.

But this change was not driven by himself.

It was something else, something that would parasitize his body at uncertain moments, throwing him out of control, driving him mad.

And it was these changes that made Richard Parker realize something.

In yet another new cycle, he didn’t stop his partners from viewing that magnificent sight.

At the moment of resurrection, he immediately ran to the escape pod, where in a corner hideaway he found a notebook that was overused, somewhat tattered.

The only item on Silence not affected by chaotic time.

Richard Parker grabbed a pen, quickly flipping the pages, his teeth clenched, his face trembling with madness.

While turning the pages, one could see the diary was already filled with numerous records. From the handwriting, it looked like the diary owner was calm and rational in the initial stages.

But later pages were completely filled with madness, in disarray.

There were even repeatedly backward records, a lot of traces of alterations, some pages torn, some stained with blood, some entirely dark red… anyone could see from it that the diary’s owner was probably slowly sliding into the abyss.
