A few days passed and Dunn continued his vigilant surveillance on the young man. His routine remained unchanged. The young man's activities mirror those of that night— monitoring Johann's mansion.

At the same time, Dunn also did his own investigation to find out more about this mysterious young man. After going through tireless inquiries and discreet observations, Dunn managed to piece together fragments of information he obtained.

Apparently, the young man's name is Jin. As for where he comes from, Dunn doesn't have a definite answer yet. The only thing he knows right now is that Jin is from the north.

When the old man thinks about it again, Demin's butler also heads north during his trip outside. Dunn suspected there must be something in the north.

It worth investigating that desolate place. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Interestingly enough, nobody knows about Jin despite him staying at the Demin's mansion. Not even servants working there.

Demin seemed to have gone to great lengths to conceal Jin's existence. Only a handful of individuals who had been entrusted with the task of caring for Jin during his time at the estate know about him.

Their lips were sealed tight against any questions.

For Dunn, obtaining this information had been no easy feat. He had made some dangerous moves and taken some risks to gain this scarce information. Also, he almost got caught but managed to pull himself out of danger.

Needless to say, Dunn's patience wore thin. He was getting tired of watching Jin's repetitive activities.

Each night, he found himself staying up late. His eyes were glued to the movements of the mysterious young man as he continued his vigilant surveillance of Johann Klover's mansion.

Yet, despite his vigilance, Dunn found himself consistently disappointed. Night after night, Jin's actions remained unchanged. He continues circling the perimeter of the mansion.

"How long is he going to continue doing this?" Dunn muttered to himself in frustration. "Just what is he trying to accomplish? Did he need some help?"

....

"Sir Jin, when are you going to take action? I see no progress in the past few days." Tonight, Demin couldn't help but ask.

Just like old man Dunn, he felt slightly impatient seeing Jin's relaxed and laid-back behaviour.

Demin has put his trust in the Outcasts' skills, believing that they are not inferior to Blackout, and has spent so much money on hiring one. He also fully explained to Jin and emphasise the importance of this mission. Naturally, he wants to see the result.

Jin, standing opposite Demin, couldn't suppress himself from scoffing. To think he was blocked from going out tonight because of this stupid question.

Why does he need to take so much time? Because of Demin's own fussy request. Had he only needed to kill, it could have been done on the same day as he arrived at Klover.

However, since the other party is a client, he had to be respectful to a certain degree.

"Sir Demin, a thorough investigation is required to ensure the outcome you requested can be delivered. Since you want to use Johann's grandson to put the blame on someone else, I need to choose the most suitable time to strike. As such, studying the target's schedule is a necessity and this process inevitably takes some time. Please trust in my skills to execute the task perfectly."

"I understand, Sir Jin. I'm not doubting your skills. I simply hope that you will keep me informed of your progress."

Jin sighed. He gets this kind of request countless times from nobles who hired him in the past.

They are all act the same way.

First, they will ask Jin to share his progress. Then, they will give their own opinion. After that, they will interfere and make changes to the plan as they wish.

Also, if Jin was unlucky, the nobles would order their men to partake in the mission. It usually ends up with their men not listening to his orders.

When the plan was initiated, Jin realised that plan was not perfect and had to make a change on his own right there which increased the chance of him being exposed or captured.

In the end, the plan succeeded and the nobles took credit as if they were the ones who planned everything from the start.

"Since you want a report, then I'll give you a report. Based on my investigation, tonight should be the best time to strike. I overheard that Sarika is going to visit that Adam kid tonight to help him with study or something."

Demin's eyes widened in shock, "Is that true?!"

Jin nodded. "Yes, I believe tonight is the best time to execute the plan. But... since you blocked me from going there for the sake of asking a stupid question, I don't know whether the success rate would be as high as I initially thought."

"Then hurry up and go," Demin urged. He was so afraid that the plan would fail.

Watching Demin's reaction, a sneer curled on Jin's lips, barely concealed beneath a facade of his cold expression.

'This is why you should never meddle in other people's jobs,' Jin thought to himself.

Jin doesn't care if the mission succeeds or fails. The payment had been received and it was non-refundable. The only thing that will happen is Outcast's reputation in the underworld will take a hit and he will get scolded by Master Rori.

"Please wait for good news," Jin announced to Demin before swiftly exiting and rushing toward Johann's mansion.

It is already good that Demin didn't try to meddle with his plan. The lack of interference meant fewer obstacles to contend with and a smoother execution of the mission ahead.

Most importantly, he wouldn't have a headache dealing with nonsensical stuff.

As he approached Johann's mansion, Jin steadied his pace and avoid the guards with ease.

"Let's get this mission done and return home. Although the food and treatment here are pretty good, nothing beats the comfort of my own room."
