Hearing this, Chu Lingjun’s forceful demeanor softened. Her attitude changed, and she nodded obediently. "Okay. As long as you don’t make me go back, I’ll listen to you."

Long Chen smiled helplessly. I really have no way of dealing with her.

Long Chen and Chu Lingjun exchanged a look, both offering a small smile. "Well, we’re back now, aren’t we?" Chu Lingjun said with a gentle smile.

"So where have you two been all this time? It took you so long to return?" Cai Qing asked curiously.

"I needed time to break through to a new Realm and enhance my Cultivation, so we didn’t return right away," Chu Lingjun explained.

"Oh, I see." Cai Qing nodded with a look of understanding.

Cai Qing smiled. "I’ve been on the mountain for a while. It’s time for me to head down and get back to my teahouse."
