Chapter 672: I Am Dragon’s Mate

The demon noticed her struggle to free herself as he could feel her resistance against the pressure of his power. "Under the command of my power, you can’t move anyway. So, better be obedient."

"What did you do to me? Why can’t I move?" she asked as she watched him move closer to her end of the bed.

"I am the ruler of this realm, and every demon here is bound to follow my command, whether they like it or not. And you, dear, are a demoness who belongs to the demon realm and is bound to submit to me."

’Damn it,’ Oriana cursed under her breath, ’But I am the princess, am I not? This demoness, why aren’t you showing up now when I need you? Do something, help me kick his ass.’ Oriana tried and tried, but nothing worked, and by that time, the demon was already closer to her.

"I am the princess of this Demon realm? Am I not? How can you insult me like this?"

"You are princess but you are powerless," he replied, "The one who is the most powerful, is the one to rule. All I am doing this to turn you powerful so together we will rule not just this demon realm but all the three realms."

"I have no such desire," she spat out.

"You will, once you remember what it means to be most powerful being."

"I don’t want to," she shouted angrily as she remembered how scary she was when she was at the peak of her power and was about to destroy everything, "If you dare mark me, I swear, I am going to kill you."

Her threats were like an empty shells, he ignored her.

"I would suggest you not struggle so it would be less painful for you," he spoke, his dark eyes looking into her angry ones, which seemed beautiful in his eyes.

"I am married. You would be immoral if you..."

"I have already told you those lowly vows in the human realm are nothing for us."

Oriana realised being angry was no use in front of this black rock of a Demon who seemed to lack any emotions and pondered over what excuse to come up with. She was willing to do or say whatever as long as it would stop this demon.

"I... I have consummated my marriage, and at this moment, I must be carrying his child." Her heart was at its peak of beating when she said it, not sure how he would react.

Just as she expected, there was a change in his dark eyes. His gaze moved from her face to her belly, which was almost covered by her folded legs.

"I... am telling you not to force me. I love someone else. You can find another demoness for yourself. I am sure many of them would be willing to marry you and rule this realm with you." She managed to mutter somehow, not knowing what was going on in his mind, his gaze stuck at her belly.

It gave her a chill as she felt like he was planning to cut open her belly and check himself if there was truly a child.

"There is no child," his deep voice reached her ears as she watched him look back at her. "You can’t carry a child. Your body is damaged. But now you are back, your body will nourish back to its purity, and then you will carry my child."

’Can this demon be any more outrageous and willful? So annoying!’

His hand moved towards her face. Oriana wished to dodge it, but she could not. Utter disgust engulfed her the moment his hand touched her cheek, making her stomach churn. His gaze stuck to her face as if he had been enchanted by her.

"Once I mark you, you will forget about anything from the human realm and will only have me in your heart and mind just like in the past," his face leaned closer to hers, his warm breath fanning against her face.

"You are a liar when you said I loved you in the past."

"You will know when you regain your memories."

"No need. I know I can never fall for a man who resorts to forcing himself on women by controlling them under his power. I can only despise such a man." She gritted her teeth as she felt his body closer to hers, feeling repulsed. "You are making me puke with this closeness. You are disgusting." She wanted to spit on his face, but that was not happening either.

She was stuck between him and that ornate headboard of the bed.

None of her words or her anger seemed to affect him. His fingers traced her cheeks, her jawline, and moved towards her slender neck, relishing the beauty of it.

"Once we are bonded, you won’t feel this way. In fact, you will be so dependent on me that you won’t want me to leave you anymore," his gaze moved across her face noticing every feature of it with delight, his gaze stuck at her rosy lips that were trembling in anger. "Demonesses are lustful towards their demons, and you will be no different."

Sensing that heated gaze of his on her lips, she felt like dying. If he kissed her....I would rather die than let it happen.

"Don’t you dare," she growled.

In response, his fingers brushed away her hair, his face nearing closer to her neck. "You still smell like before."

Oriana’s heart was ready to jump out of her ribcage as if she was going to lose everything she had. She closed her eyes and spoke.

"My husband is not an ordinary human. He is a Dragon, and he would be rageful to know you marked his mate."

She had no other option but to say it, hoping at least this would stop him. As expected, he stopped and turned to look at her. "Dragon? You are His mate?"

Not understanding who he referred to as ’His,’ she nodded, "Yes, I am the Dragon’s mate."
