Chapter 366: It’s all connected!

"Come on, I’m being serious! We’re here for room service! We were ordered to clean this place out." Kai tried reasoning with the guards.

"Oh yeah? Clean what out?" A guard asked

"Okay, that’s a good question. You see, there have been some people stinking up the place, and we need to get them out." Kai explained.

One of the guards ducked behind the wall. "Dammit! How did he find out that I haven’t taken a shower in over a month!"

"Dude, really?"

"No wonder you always smell like shit!"

"Get the fuck away from me, you disease-carrying bitch."

Kai was not talking about that, but it was surprising to hear that someone would go that long without having a proper bath. They could at least clean themselves with a rag from time to time.

"So, are you going to let us in or what?"

"I have to speak to my superiors before I do that. B-But while you’re there, can you clean up the mess you made?" The guard asked

Kai looked down at the dead bodies around them, thanks to Amaya, and sighed.

"Amaya, clean this up."

"What? Why me?"

"Why you? You’re the one who killed them."

"But you told me to."

Kai didn’t have the heart to continue. He loved cats too much. "Fine, I got it." He used destruction to erase the bodies.

"Enabler," Gwen muttered under her breath.

"Hey, I enable all of you guys, so shush."

Around two minutes later, multiple soldiers lined up on top of the wall, aiming their bows at Kai’s crew. Then, the gates opened and Big-Bottom walked out, followed by ten elite-looking soldiers.

"Are you the group of clowns who dared to attack my fort?" Big-Bottom asked

"Oh, sorry, no, we’re not. We aren’t a circus, we’re a part of the resistance, so we can’t be clowns. Haha, you know? We’re soldiers, like you all." Kai stood at attention to act serious for a second.

"So clowns." Big-Bottom nodded. "Listen, I will only say this once: surrender yourself, or be killed. Choose."

"Hold on for a sec." Kai turned around to face his girls. "Guys, this might be difficult. We’re immortal, so we can’t die. Should we surrender instead?"

"Hmm, this is a difficult situation." Gwen matched his energy.

"But if we surrender, we could be imprisoned forever, because, you know, we’re immortal." Even Sasha joined in on their foolishness.

Kyana chimmed in. "Or, hear me out. We could run away. It’s not like we’ll die if they pursue us."

"Ohh, that’s a great suggestion."

Amaya and Karumi didn’t catch on to them playing around and just walked off on their own and started killing soldiers.

"ATTACK! ATTACK THEM!"

"Huh? Oh come on! Really guys? You two couldn’t wait a few more minutes?" Now Kai’s entire plan was ruined. He wanted to act like they surrendered and then attack from the inside.

"Whatever. Show’s over now." The rest of them attacked the guards and soldiers, leaving the Commander for Kai to deal with.

"You will die today," Big-Bottom said in a low, cold tone as he walked toward Kai with a Kopesh in his hand.

"First, I just wanna say that I love the khopesh. It’s an amazing weapon. One of my favorite fictional characters uses one. His name is Carter K—Whoa!" Kai ducked under the khopesh, narrowly avoiding his head getting cut off.

"Hey, man! Watch it! I was speaking to you!"

"I don’t care about what you have to say, clown. I will kill you for killing my men."

"That’s honestly not very nice, man. I was trying to solve this peacefully, but since you wanna be a DICK, I’ll have to use my trump card." Kai cleared his throat, and Big-Bottom tensed up to prepare for an attack.

"Your momma is so fat, she puts on weight just so she can’t look at your ugly face!"

"Ohhhhhhhhh! Burn!" Leo appeared out of nowhere being Kai’s hype man.

"What is this trickery? Why have you insulted my mother?!" Veins were popping out of Commander Big-Bottom’s head from his anger.

"This is a roast off, man. Now it’s your turn."

Instead of figuring out a way to roast Kai, Big-Bottom simply attacked Kai, releasing all of his power to intimidate Kai, but all it did was make him laugh.

"That’s not a roast, man!" Kai slapped him away, leaving a handprint on the man’s face.

’What was that? Did I just get hit? Impossible! I’m a Tier-10 wizard. One of the strongest on the continent! A fluke, it had to have been a fluke.’

"Since you used your attack, it’s my turn. You’re so ugly that people would rather go blind than look at you."

"Get his ass!" Leo hyped Kai up.

"Shut up!" Big-Bottom’s tattoos glowed a bright red with the design of a lion, and his entire body was engulfed by a lion avatar. His power increased drastically, and he ran on all fours, making his way toward Kai. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

He lunged, but Kai dodged. Big-Bottom came back around, swiping his glowing red claws at Kai’s face, but missed each time. Retreating, he slammed his hand, paws, on the ground, lifting up a piece of earth, then kicked it at Kai.

"Nice moves, man." Kai didn’t even move as the large earth slab crumbled against his skin.

Big-Bottom used the dust to attack Kai from behind, but a hand reached out, grabbing his neck, slamming him to the ground.

"Nice try, but you were out of your league from the start. Then again, not a lot of people are on my level." Kai smirked

"Actually, there are a lot of people who are stronger than you."

"I didn’t ask for your input, Leo."

"My bad."

"Now, little kitten, tell me where the resistance guy who knows about the relic is."

"Or what?" Big-Bottom asked, trying his best to escape Kai’s grasp.

"Or you die. Well, I guess I would have killed you regardless. But I’m acting like I wasn’t planning on killing you, so you can get scared and tell me where the man is."

"I’ll never tell you a thing!"

"Okay. I believe you." Kai ripped out the man’s soul, then eviscerated it. "I know where he is anyway."

"Wow, you just removed his chances at reincarnation." Leo shook his head.

"Do you care? Besides, you could just remake it if you want."

"Sure, I could, but messing with the reincarnation cycle is illegal."

"Says who?" Kai asked

"Says me. I made it illegal. Some goddess messed with the reincarnation cycle a few million years ago, then the guy she reincarnated started a war with other titans and primordials. It was a crazy time."

"What did you do with the guy who was reincarnated?"

"Him? I turned him into a primordial. The guy was freaking awesome. Besides, the primordials, titans, and gods he killed were all on my kill list anyway."

"What the fuck? What’s his name?"

"The great Zion Zagan. Well, just Zion Zagan, I added ’The Great’ to his name."

"I bet he’s one of your sons!" Kai joked.

"Actually, he’s more like your cousin on your mom’s side...Kind of. It’s a weird situation. You can just ask him when you meet him, if you do."
