Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 24 - 23: Success
Bella Acker followed the staff into the audition room again, just like yesterday.
In the audition room, only the director and screenwriter were seated, without the producer and investors from yesterday.
The director nodded at Bella Acker, his demeanor less gentle than yesterday, "Let’s begin. Just show an interpretation of Hera."
Bella Acker felt the director’s attitude today was somewhat odd but didn’t ask further, nodded, and said, "Okay."
She adjusted her state, calming her emotions. She slightly raised her chin and raised her hand, her slender and fair fingers posed as if holding something.
Her eyes and brows were lowered, her face still youthful, but the aura she emanated changed instantly.
She seemed to admire the object in her fingers and then spoke slowly, "Don’t keep those who shouldn’t be kept, don’t say words that shouldn’t be said. Do I have to teach you all these things?" 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Her speech was very slow, each word and pause seemed precisely calculated. Even if she didn’t fully express the cold nature of the speaker, at least she vividly brought it to life.
The screenwriter’s eyes showed surprise, she leaned closer to the director and whispered, "This is the scene after Hera turns dark, ordering the palace servants to remove Lady Lawson."
"Hmm." The director nodded, relatively satisfied with Bella Acker’s performance. Such a newcomer, as long as she is willing to put in effort to hone her acting skills, could definitely become a strong actress in the future. But thinking about the call from the chief producer made the director feel a bit uneasy.
She seems like a nice girl, yet she also chooses those unclean paths.
The screenwriter, noticing the director’s unpleasant expression, kept silent and said no more.
Meanwhile, Bella Acker was focused on her performance.
She suddenly turned and forcefully cast her hand aside, as if throwing the object at someone or somewhere.
Her face was stern, with hidden anger in her eyes, "You couldn’t even handle this trivial matter for me, what use do I have for you!"
The screenwriter watched, instinctively wanting to explain to the director that this was the scene where someone reported Lady Lawson hadn’t died. But seeing the director’s expression, she ultimately chose to remain silent.
Bella Acker stopped, her expression and aura while acting disappeared instantly, reverting to that of a regular student, "Director, I’ve finished my performance."
The director frowned, silent for a long time.
Bella Acker felt a bit uneasy, but since the director and screenwriter hadn’t told her to leave, she couldn’t just exit on her own.
Finally, the director spoke, "Good, your appearance indeed fits the role of Hera better. Seven days from now, at ten in the morning, go to Westwood Photography for your character photos. Don’t be late." With that, he picked up his belongings and left without waiting for Bella Acker’s response.
The screenwriter smiled and said, "Ms. Acker, your performance is quite impressive. I look forward to our pleasant collaboration over the coming months."
"Th-Thank you."
Bella Acker shook hands with the screenwriter, watching her leave, still a bit in disbelief.
Did they just decide directly that she would play Hera?
Bella Acker walked out of the audition room in a daze, Sandra Woods immediately approached, "Bella, how did it go?"
"S-Successful." Bella Acker raised her head to look at Sandra Woods, still a bit incredulous, "The director told me to go to Westwood Photography for character photos in seven days."
"That’s great, that’s good news." Sandra Woods breathed a sigh of relief and laughed, "Seeing you walk out so lost just now, I thought you failed, and was racking my brain thinking of how to comfort you."
Bella Acker was a bit dumbfounded, "I just can’t quite believe it. Shannon, I really made it!"
