Only My Weapons Level UP
Chapter 155: Dark Necromancer
After doing some experiments, Terry finally managed to create the material that was needed. Out of nowhere, he showed Clark a liquid that seemed a mix of Mercury, Gray steel, and the Blacksteel.
It didn’t look that useful at first glance, but Clark began to work on it. To make things work faster, Terry told him to make a simple knife, and once it was forged, Terry saw the results. They were a bit weird, but they certainly had a lot of potential.
Unknown Knife Lv 0 (0/10 EXP) (Unknown)
Attack: 01 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
Attack Speed Speed: 01%
Defense: 01
Magic Power: 01
Magic Defense: 01

"This has a weird feel I can’t tell if it is good or not," Clark said.
"It is fine, I can tell that it is good," Terry said while nodding in satisfaction. "You can use this to work on that other project. Soon I will bring more of this material. It is hard to get the ingredients, after all."
"It makes sense, this isn’t like anything I saw before," Clark said. "In any case, I am still on the experimental stages, the more you bring them, the faster I will be able to create what you want. As you know, it will require a lot of materials."
"No problem," Terry said.
After such a success, Terry couldn’t help but be on a good mood... he confirmed that he had thought, after all. Perhaps he could apply that knowledge to other things, but he need to do this quietly without raising questions... this kind of information could change the balance of Power in the world and make crazy people do crazy shit... that was why he didn’t want to tell even Vanessa and Rebecca... knowing that alone would put them in a bad spot.
Terry began to work on making more of that liquid, but he had to take constant pauses and he could only make so much of them daily. So, he decided to experiment using other materials.
"First of all, I guess I will get fire manipulation as well... water to cool down and fire to heat the material," Terry thought. "I can’t let Clark do all the work for me, After all... let’s leave as soon as those two return."
The previous night, Vanessa and Rebecca left to close another portal. Since the sun was setting and they left at midnight, they should have returned already.
"I guess I will keep the brats entertained until Vanessa returns," Terry thought and then headed to Rebecca’s house.
Chris and Ruth looked really bored since they didn’t see their sister that day, so Terry let them bother him until it got so late that they fell asleep... Terry wondered if something had happened in the other world. Considering that their clear time decreased a lot and they returned all the time without wounds, Terry thought that it would take a while until they find a really challenge
Vanessa is quite methodical, so she would only increase the difficulties of the missions quite a bit... at least Terry knew where they went, but Vanessa was having his armor.
"Her potential with that armor should be even higher than mine... it is hard to imagine that they actually found a troublesome overlord in a world with low level monsters," Terry thought.
In the end, Terry decided to wait until morning before making his move. He didn’t want to do anything too harsh or jump to the gun since it might be just an out of the norm incident. Also, that only made him think that they should do something about communication over longer distances...
Fortunately, they showed up a few hours later... While they looked exhausted, they didn’t have any wounds on them.
"You guys are late," Terry said.
"Were you waiting for us?" Vanessa asked, a bit surprised. "Sorry... we had a hard time since the overlord this time kept running away and summoning monsters to slow us down... returning to the starting point before the portal closed had been a real hassle as well."
"You were worried... you were worried, weren’ you?" Rebecca asked while giggling. "I suppose you would miss your only friends."
"Not really, I was just thinking that turning your siblings into my new minions would take too much to take you guys place," Terry shrugged.
"You’d better be joking about that... at least all that work made us obtain something useful," Rebecca said and then passed a metallic staff that had a metal skull at the top of it. "Extremely bad taste, I know, but it is very powerful."
Dark Necromancer’s Staff Lv 00(00/10) (Supernatural)
Magic Power: 10
Durability: 10/10
Summoning Power: + 05%
Summon Skeleton: at the cost of fifty points of mana, you can summon a skeleton that will follow all of your commands.
It didn’t look that powerful at first glance, but it had potential... even more so if the effects that the staff will get will be summoning skills. Still, Terry wondered if the staff would get experience if the skeletons kill monsters instead of him... that will be worth testing.
"I bet we can use skeletons to dig tunnels even faster!" Rebecca said while her eyes were glowing.
"You need a life... and a better hobby," Terry said while furrowing his eyebrows.
"You don’t have either, so shut up," Rebecca said.
"Let’s not fight over nonsensical things," Vanessa said. "In any case, we know by now that the armor lets us recover mana everytime we kill the enemies, don’t you think that we can use the staff to help with that? We can send an army of skeletons or something else to the portals and just wait for them to do the job for us. We noticed that the strongest the magic user, the more powerful the skeletons will be."
"Great..." Terry said.
Without his items, Terry was pretty much a weak human, but with all that gear, perhaps the skellies could become quite fearsome. It was worth testing...
