Chapter 182: Chapter 182 - The Haven(Part 11)

"Let me show you to where you’ll be staying. We’ve readied small huts for each of you," Remarked Oberr, as some of the other Demi-Humans began cleaning up the area.

"Oh, the two of us will share one, we don’t need separate rooms," Responded Izzy, as she linked her arm with Argent’s, who patted her head in response.

"Very well, then. Alright, follow me, I’ll take you there," Replied Oberr, as he led the way.

We made our way through a path between the trees, passing by a few other Demi-Humans as we followed after Oberr. We’re still getting a lot of stares, which is perfectly understandable, but the looks directed at us are less wary and suspicious than before.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that they trust us now, but thanks to the party, I’d say they’ve warmed up to us significantly. I doubt they’ve completely completely let their guards down around us but they’re probably more inclined to believe that we mean them no harm.

"If you don’t mind me asking, do you guys plan to live down here forever?" I asked Oberr curiously.

"Hm? Yes, I suppose we do...the only way to live on the surface is to go to war against the humans, and there’s no sense in doing so. Even if we weren’t so heavily outnumbered, going to war would mean that many of us would inevitably die. It’s not worth the cost," He replied with a shake of his head.

He’s wrong about one thing, they’re not actually that heavily outnumbered. Their population may be small, but the majority of them are combatants, the main exceptions are kids and the elderly.

If we compare their numbers to the combined force of the Adventurers and Knights in Obsidian, the number difference isn’t too overwhelming. That said, Adventurers are constantly risking their lives fighting Monsters, they’re used to real combat.

And, admittedly, the Knights aren’t totally incompetent either.

Hm, but then again, I don’t actually know what the Demi-Humans are fully capable of...the Fairies Spellcasting, the immense physical prowess of the Werewolves, Felinians and Oryctolagus, not to mention the Light Elves’ Chlorokinesis would be a handful in an area like a forest...yeah, the Demi-Humans here might actually stand a good chance of overthrowing this nation.

But they’re unwilling to go to war and have casualties arise as a result of it, and I can certainly respect that. I do feel for them though...they deserve better than having to spend their lives in an underground cavern, caged and secluded from the world.

Well, there’s nothing I can do about it, so I won’t say anything. Plus, I’m pretty worn out...today was a long day, and all that weed and booze has me feeling pretty tired too.

I could sober myself up by unsuppressing my Universal Resistance, but I feel like it’d be a waste, I’m right in that sweet spot where I’m not too high or drunk, but just in the right zone.

Too bad Rosary didn’t stay, it wouldn’t been nice to have gone a couple of rounds before going to sleep. Doubt I’d have any success trying to seduce one of the Demi-Human girls, I’d probably just embarrass myself if I tried.

Oh, well, it’s not a big deal, guess it’s just me and my hand tonight. I hooked up with Rosary pretty regularly while we were staying in Kaygee Town, so it’s not like I’m starved for sex.

"Alright, here we are, you can choose whichever hut you like," Remarked Oberr, as we came into a clearing with four small wooden huts built in a row.

Wow, they’re pretty sturdily built from the look of it, and they’re each about the size of a typical bedroom.

"Cool, thanks. We’ll see you tomorrow then," I replied as I gave him a pat on the shoulder.

"Yeah, goodnight," Added Prysm with a smile.

"Thanks again for letting us stay, and for showing us such hospitality," Spoke up Argent gratefully.

"Mhm, and the food was delicious!" Grinned Izzy with a thumbs up.

"I hope you all have a comfortable night, have a pleasant night," He nodded politely in response, before heading back.

"Let’s take one of the ones at the very end of the row," Argent suggested to Izzy, who nodded affirmatively.

Heh, guess they’re wanna get busy and don’t want anyone hearing. Well, I certainly don’t want to hear my brother having sex, so I’ll take the hut at the opposite end to the one they pick.

"I’ll go with this one," I remarked, as they began heading towards one of the huts.

"Goodnight, Larrk, see you tomorrow," Waved Argent, as he and Izzy opened the door to the hut they picked and headed inside.

"And I’ll pick this one," Said Prysm, as she headed for the hut next to the one I picked.

"Why not take the middle one instead?" I inquired with a raised eyebrow.

"Does it really make a difference to you?" She countered with a shrug.

"Yeah, fair enough, I guess. Well, later," I replied with a stifled yawn, as I opened the door and entered the hut.

It’s kinda dark inside, but there’s a faint glow coming from one of the walls. Oh, nice, it’s a Light Crystal, it was used by humans before Light bulbs and electricity were invented in this world...I’m guessing I run Mana into it to switch it on.

I walked over and placed my hand onto it, channeling a bit of Mana into it. It began to glow brighter, before the light slowly started to dim. Oh, I get it, I gotta pump it with a larger amount to keep it alight for longer.

I then channeled a more substantial amount of Mana into the crystal, which began glowing brightly. I stopped and took my hand off as the brightness stabilized, before looking around the room.

It’s pretty empty except for a bed, and there’s a door at the back. I walked over and opened it, peering in curiously...oh, it’s a small bathroom, with a toilet, sink and a shower head. Nice, this is more than good enough.

Alright, I’m gonna, how to put this, relieve some tension, and then go to sleep. I then took off my jacket, shirt and trousers, folding them up and setting them on the floor, before walking over and flopping onto the bed with a sigh.

What an eventful day today was...I then closed my eyes as I recalled everything that had happened. It hasn’t quite sunk in that we’re currently staying with Demi-Humans, it’s-...hm?

What the-...? What’s going on? My body, it feels...really warm all of a sudden. As I opened my eyes, a slight shudder ran through my body, my head feeling a bit foggy...woah, holy shit, I feel...I feel so horny.

I heard a slight click echo out, glancing up to see my door opening, a familiar head of blonde hair tied in twintails walking in. Wait, is it just me, or is there a slight pink hue floating in the air?

I sat up as she shut the door and walked over with a determined look on her face, her cheeks flushed. W-woah...her outfit, it’s really something. A semi-see-through dress with thin shoulder straps and went just a few inches down her thighs.

I gulped as I felt my body heating up, before she closed in on me and reached out her hand towards me, I lifted my hand and grabbed her wrist...

"You little brat, you made me sober up, what a waste," I sighed in exasperation, as I stopped suppressing my Universal Resistance.

"Aw, I really thought that would work," She replied with a wry smile, as I let go of her wrist.

"Go on, get out already. I’m too tired to deal with this right now," I remarked as I flicked her forehead.

"Ow...alright, if that’s what you want. But...," She smirked as she pushed the straps of the dress off her shoulders, letting it fall off her body and drop to the floor, exposing her naked body, "Are you sure that’s really what you want?"

Fuck...

"Ah, screw it, if you really want it that badly...," I trailed off as I grabbed her waist and pulled her onto the bed, her body landing on top of mine.

Huh, her boobs are bigger than I thought.

"Finally, I’ve been waiting for this," She smiled with flushed cheeks, as she leaned up and kissed me.

She reached for my hand and intertwined her fingers with mine, as she pressed her thigh between my legs, slowly rubbing it up and down as she ran her other hand through my hair.

She then let go of my hand and moved it over my waist, lightly tracing her fingertips around my stomach before slipping it into my boxers and teasing me there with her fingers, before wrapping her hand around it as she pressed her breasts more firmly against my chest.

She’s a little clumsy, but I can’t deny that it still feels really good. I then reached down and grabbed her ass with both hands, squeezing firmly as she caressed my lips hungrily, putting her tongue in my mouth and twirling it around mine, as she ran her other hand all over my body...
